Benefit is known for being the experts in brows. They have a specific technique that they do and they "brow map" you which sounds funny but it is actually brilliant! They use your face shape to determine your ideal brow shape and map it out before they do it so you know exactly what would be taking off and how they would look. I haven't been waxed like that before because it has never been so precise and intricate. You will get so many compliments on your brows after getting them done here. I have so many friends who have "waxed" & plucked & kept up their eye brows but have also said they get more compliments on their eyebrows than anything else. They teach you how to make them look natural and full also to match which is something I have always struggled with. I have only experienced friendly and helpful service here. I had my eyebrows done today and I have very sensitive skin and notice that it was the least painful wax I have ever had. First I'd like to give a little back story. I've dealt with very oily skin all my life. It has been VERY difficult to find a good foundation that doesn't completely melt off of my face. I have been pretty discouraged in this process, and thought, maybe I could TRY a small amount of a couple different foundations instead of wasting so much money buying full bottles of the stuff!! I went into my local Ulta, asked about the possibility of sampling a couple foundations. The representative explained to me that it was "illegal" and there was a new "FDA REGULATION" prohibiting such samples. Now, my anger is NOT due to the fact I couldn't get a sample, but more so the fact that the store rep blatantly LIED to me. If it's a company policy that you don't give samples, just say so! I spend (what I consider) a lot of money here every year and this totally turned me off. Thank goodness a Sephora recently opened I'm town, as I went there directly after my visit to Ulta. I purchased a couple items, AND was given 3 samples!! Anyway long story, but I feel this local Ulta is unconcerned with customer service. They always act irritated and annoyed when you ask questions or expect to be treated as a valued customer. Platinum status or not, this is enough to turn me away for good. read more

I have had only positive experiences in this store. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful, without being over the top. Just the right amount of freedom to browse as long as you like while knowing someone is nearby should I need help. The Ulta rewards program keeps me coming back often, the best store rewards program I have ever used, the payoff is huge if you save up your points. I have not visited the Salon so I can't comment either way on that department, but the whole store seems clean and organized. read more

Alright. So maybe I'm spoiled, maybe I'm vain, but when I go to a cosmetics store I expect the people selling me those cosmetics to know what they are talking about. Instead I have noticed one employee in particular seems to know what she's talking about but cares more about pushing the products she she has probably been instructed to push that day or that week or whatever that might be on sale. I get it, their job is to sell the products. But their job is also to make the customer happy so they'll continue to come back. I give the benefit of the doubt but now everytime I go there I attempt to avoid that person like the plague because I know she's most likely going to give me the products that don't match my skin tone or just don't work for the type of skin I have as she has in the past multiple times. Don't be fooled into thinking I'm just some here once every few months type of customer I am there weekly. I am familiar with almost all the ladies that work there and I can say with my best confidence that most of them will take care of you to the best of their ability not only trying to get your money but to make you happy and satisfied with the transaction and the products that you're taking home that day. I have recently started going to the salon for all of my hair needs and I'm looking forward to going there to try out their new esthetician. Jesse the salon manager is phenomenal. I will always return to her as long as she stays here in Kalispell. She does hair the way I'm used to where I'm from and it's amazing. Not to mention, the woman's nails are on point. So all-in-all if you come in during the sale times you can actually save quite a bit of money but even if you don't and you become an Ulta Rewards Club member then the point rewards are actually pretty phenomenal once I became Platinum I started saving an ample amount of points and I am now at the point where I have at least $100 in points a month to spend. Also once you go platinum your points never expire which is also pretty awesome. Don't let these "terrible customer service" reviews from 2015 deter you from going here. Online shopping is okay if you don't feel like putting pants on that day or whatever, but nothing is better then Samsung the products before you take them home and having the option to exchange what you aren't satisfied with. Put on your pants, get a little human interaction. You won't be disappointed. read more

Tried to use a gift card and the women at the counter was so unhelpful. She said she didn't know how I could redeem it even though I showed her the email gift certificate. When I asked for a manager she said she was the manager! Her suggestion was to "just pay for it this time and figure it out later when you get home" I told her the reason I went to the store was to spend the gift certificate and she just gave me a blank stare...nothing. When I asked her to call someone she said there was no one to call and acted annoyed. I finally just left. I will not be going back. I will spend my gift card online. People need to understand the concept of customer service. Even if she didn't know what to do, the LEAST she could have done is apologize and offer some better suggestions than "just pay for it" As a new business in the area they should be making an effort to make an impression not running customers off! read more

I have never been a big fan of Ulta because of customer service issues......but this location has the worst customer service around. The people who work there care more about the way they look and chatting with one another then to dare help customers. I think I have seen one lady helping and I will roam the store then stand in front of the area I would like help at with full intention to buy product if only I could figure out which product to buy and as the minutes pass I get annoyed then my annoyance turns to anger. I am not drawn to any of the employees either....I am just a common girl and have normal hair and no tattoos. I feel that I am labeled as NORMAL / BORING....because some people I do see getting help......but after 3 separate times giving thm a go with no help....I will not be back. I'll just do my reviews of products on line and buy on line probably with another company. There was no love in this place! read more

I went in the other day because I had a coupon and thought maybe I would find something I could use. The staff was so annoying and overwhelming with that whole working for commission thing. I don't think I'll ever go back because I don't like being bugged like that while I'm shopping. read more
