    Believe it or not, the MANAGER of the salon did the "before" photos of my hair. Yeah, you read that correctly. The ONLY reason this is getting 3 stars is because of the Elite Stylist at this location- Mary. She saved my hair and talked me in to coming in to get it fixed. I initially went in and told the manager of the salon how ugly I've been feeling since my first baby, and that my hair is patchy from previous box dye. "I'm not sure if I'll need a color correction?" I said. she proceed to put 30 volume from root to ends, didn't make enough so she had to pause and make more. Leaving the top of my head frying, while the ends we're dry. There is no way she didn't see how bad it was once she was blowing my hair out. Countless opportunities to say "you know what, this didn't come out right. Please come back ____ so we can go this right" Nope. Just took the 20% tip and sent me on my way. The manager of any salon should be the creme of the crop. Every stylist in that salon should be able to depend on their manager for guidance, and I will tell you right now, she might be good at managing but has years of work to do with coloring. Despite the redo being EXCEPTIONAL (THANK YOU MARY!!!) I will be demanding a refund from ulta as a company. Aside from the initial experience, I had to find last minute child care to get it fixed and I had to follow up on my initial experience every single time with ulta. Not once did a manager, general manager or district reach out on their own as promised. I'm out more money than I would've been if the manager did it right the first time. Just unacceptable. Mary, if you ever have your own spot I'll see you again!!

    This review will be based on a service I received here today. Made an appointment for a 60 minute customized facial. I've never gotten a facial before and pricing was reasonable here. My appointment was for 12:15pm. By the time we got started, it was 12:25pm. My esthetician's name was Aaryn. She confirmed I was getting a 60 minute service. I was asked to fill out a form regarding my overall health and skin type. Aaryn made small talk in the beginning and discussed my top 3 skin concerns with me. She descended the chair to the lowest position, told me to get comfortable and put a blanket over top of me. It was cozy. What I didn't like about this experience was that Aaryn didn't go over ANY of the products she used on my face. She could've put anything on my face and I wouldn't know because nothing was said. Another pet peeve was the fact that she kept getting up and walking away. She'd leave me in the chair with the product on my face and go elsewhere. She turned on a machine that released steam and I felt the heat and steam mist onto my cheeks. When she was done the facial, it was 12:59pm. Definitely not 60 minutes... I felt like I got ripped off because she was in a rush to finish the service. One of my concerns was redness in my cheeks. She handed me a mirror to show me the finished look and I felt like I had more redness than I did when I first got there. I asked her about a cool tingling sensation in my face and she explained that it was an exfoliating product she used that could be causing the feeling. Went up to the cashier to pay and Aaryn was nowhere to be found. She didn't go over any aftercare with me and I had to leave her tip in an envelope with another employee. It was kind of unprofessional. 2.5 stars for this subpar service. Probably wouldn't get another facial here, but will still stop by to purchase makeup.

    My haircut earlier this week was really odd. Paid for the haircut with deep conditioning, unknown if that even happened? I don't think it did & my stylist said nothing about the products she was using so I don't know. Beyond that, when I got there, my hair was very very thoroughly brushed out, cut dry, washed, completely blow dried & straightened and then trimmed again. I've never had my hair cut dry and there's tiny pieces of hair seemingly all over me, even though I had a gown over. When I went to pay, the coupon I got - from ulta, that should work (it was my fist time at the salon, it's not expired and the service was one that was allowed) didn't scan and I wasn't really told why. The haircut isn't that good, is shorter than I wanted & I paid $75 with tip. Really bummed.

    Always a mess.  Staff is so dismissive.  No GWP as usual.

    Done with this place. They never remember my gifts with purchase although the register beeps, when I ask I've been told they are out (so too bad for me!) Always rude, always dismissive, never helpful. I surrender, I am finished with this place. I remember a gem of a gentleman back Xmas before last, now that was service, they need to revisit that type of employee and dump these rude young ladies.

    I had an appointment with Jessica and it took nearly three hours to cut my hair unevenly and add some highlights. This haircut is what makes me so mad BC it is shorter than we agreed to. And it is completely lopsided and not in a modern way. When I tried to tell her after the three hours I was so frustrated she needed that long in the first place that I said something quietly and she couldn't even see what I was talking about. This is the worst haircut I have ever received I really did not want to pay but I did anyway. I went back to the salon the next morning and Tanya the manager was a lifesaver. She did a great job at correcting my color and cut which is all I wanted. I would return for her. Great job Ulta!

When she used the rest of the first bottle, she opened the new one and the pump was broken. No matter how much you push it nothing comes out. This item was $30+ so we brought it back to Ulta for a replacement. The girl at the counter was very condescending and said that since it was purchased more than 60 days ago they won't exchange it. I asked for the manager who was just as rude and refused to exchange the item. I would totally understand if the item was half used, but this was a FULL bottle of expensive hair product. The manager even opened the bottle and tried to pump it and said "yep, it's broken". He could see that it was full but wouldn't do anything. CVS has no issues taking product back, Rite Aid, Sephora, but Ulta won't EXCHANGE an item that was sold to us broken? Because of this I will not give them my business.

We encourage customers to buy them and reuse them the next time they shop here" they only have paper bags now, that you must purchase, no plastic. Ummmm... really? On the counter I have bottles of dark hair dye, bottles of developer. The store is filled with products that contain dye and bleach. Yet they do not have plastic bags? - not even for purchase. Only paper? If a bottle leaks inside the bag in my car, a paper bag isn't going to do anything. I think they are trying to be environmentally friendly - but let's get real.. Sally's Beauty is NOT Whole Foods. The store is filled with products which all contain some pretty harsh chemicals - half of which could cause death if ingested - it's not an environmentally friendly store so stop pretending to be. It's just shows stupidity and hypocrisy by pushing these useless paper bags, acting like they care about being "green" , on customers. All for profit of course, because they are still charging you for the bag. This was my last purchase at Sally's. I'll now just get what I need on amazon. It's cheaper there anyway, and I don't have to deal with the hassle of carrying out all my items in my hands because your store doesn't have plastic bags for customers that are purchasing liquids and chemicals - which is 90 percent of what this store sells. And how cheap is management when they have to start charging customers for bags? That's just strange. I just spent 27 dollars on 3 products, that I could have gotten off amazon for less than 20 - give me a plastic bag to put it in so I can be on my way.

I am also convinced a lot of the positive reviews I'm seeing online are fake. I can't comment on the accuracy of other surgeries but my rhinoplasty was in my opinion, not a success. My concerns were never addressed properly, I often came back to the office for follow up appointments feeling dismissed and almost like I was bothering the staff. Steroids were not applied to my nose until a year after surgery ... at that point they are useless. Initially I was told before the summertime I would get my first round of steroids, then when the next two appointments came, they weren't. The tip of my nose is very uneven, and after addressing it several times, in several ways, it went overall ignored. This is just 20% of my overall complaint. What it boils down to is I feel like I wasted so much of my time and money on what was supposed to be a beneficial procedure.
