The man doing my nails did a good job trimming and shaping but did a poor job with polish and cleaning up. After my manicure I waited for about 5 minutes to be seen for a pedicure. By this time lots of people started to come in with and without appointments. It was very busy and many people had to wait to be seen. There was also a customer complaining about her daughters pedicure as well if that means anything to you. A different person did my pedicure and they did a decent job. I would most likely not return for any manicure service. There were also no prices online or visible in the store. The total for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure was $65.

Very cute, clean, and accommodating. The Polish colors are unique and eco-conscious. Their typical polishes don't dry super quick, so I paid an extra $10 to get the Diamond Dry, which is like a gel polish that dries within 5 mins, without any harsh chemicals or UV lights. Savannah was my nail tech and she did a great job on my pedicure. Will be back again.

The end result was exactly what I needed so that's not the complaint. The services overall while there were very subpar. I was first surprised being told zoya nail polish would make my hands unusable for the entire day because it takes that long to dry. That's not true. I use zoya at home and have never had this issue. Then was told for an extra $10 I could have polish that would be dry when I left the salon- kind of crazy. I forewent any polish at all because it wasn't worth the hassle apparently. Next the encounters with the nail techs were very strange. Not a single person introduced themselves or really even acknowledged me. The manicurist walked up and all she said was what shape do you want your nails and later asked if I wanted cuticle oil- that's was about the extent of our interaction. The pedicurist was a little more approachable but it was still an overall odd encounter compared to any beauty services I've ever had. Then the service overall was subpar. It was insanely overcharged for what it was. The hot towel that you pay for in some of the packages was literally just 30 seconds long. Massage maybe 30 seconds. And as someone mentioned the bath basins are very awkward. I wear a size 6 shoe and my feet barely had room to fit in the basin with the design of the hangover and faucet. Love that there's no fumes but that's about where the "good" ends. Definitely wouldn't go back.

I arrived just before the Saturday morning rush and was in and out within 25 minutes. Some of the reviews mentioned that the customer service is lacking - that was not my experience. I personally dont prefer to make small talk, so I didn't. What did matter to me was that Nikayla asked me which color I wanted, was willing to accommodate my polish color change in the middle of shaping my nails and explained the price difference between gel polish ($15) and a gel polish + manicure ($35). If you're looking for quality, look no further than Vanity Nails. Tip: If you will be spending less than $20 on your service, make sure to bring cash. Cards are accepted only on services that cost $20 or more.

The color scheme is fun and the sitting area nice. The reception I got wasn't exact warm and fuzzy, but it wasn't rude either. My technician was nice, although I don't hear well and she's very soft spoken so conversation was hard. After she started working, I noticed that there was a lot of nail dust all over her station and that it didn't look as if she'd changed the paper towels, etc. As I really looked around, I started noticing that the whole area around and behind the nail stations was dirty and covered in nail dust. Honestly, this is when I should have left but I wasn't sure how to do it without causing a scene so I stayed. That's on me. I will say that her technique was great. She was incredibly gentle throughout the process and I hardly felt her trimming my cuticles. She also did a great job shaping my nails, although she didn't make the lengths even, and with the polish. It lasted about a week before I saw any chipping, even with gardening. Sadly I can't remember her name, but I'd go back to her - in a cleaner salon. I asked for a parafin wax treatment. DO NOT get this service done here. They use a community vat, rather than using fresh wax for each client. It's three or so weeks later as I'm writing this. I've repainted my nails since and, when I removed the polish, my nails were bright yellow from a fungal infection! It's pretty far down on the nail too, so the doctor says it'll take months to fully treat. My nails are also tingling, which I didn't know was one of the symptoms or I'd have had it looked at sooner. I wouldn't recommend this mail salon to anyone, and am honestly surprised they haven't been dinged for any health code violations. Lesson learned, if my gut says "run", I'll do just that.

It was no problem at first and I've been going almost every day for about a month until I walked in today and there was a different woman at the desk who was super rude and told me some BS about it being South Carolina state law that she can't be in there, which is false and also super frustrating. It's a bummer because I love all of the older women and the man that works there, but this young girl with straight hair was rude as all heck and decided to make up her own rules like she ran the place as if I haven't been going there every consecutive days for weeks now.
