Ulta never disappoints me. They have everything you need! Great vice, great sales and their staff is always willing to help.

This isn't my regular Ulta location but I have been here on a couple of occasions and have been happy with my experience. The store is easy to navigate and they have the most helpful folks working here. I was having a hard time deciding on a product on one of my visits and someone working the makeup department was so helpful in giving me the info I needed to make an informed decision. She had tons of recommendations, which was so helpful. I'm always a little confused by where to line up to pay. It's not as clearly marked as in other locations and so I'm always hoping I'm in the right spot. That said, there's never much of a line and they've always had what I needed when I've been in so no real complaints! read more

I thought it would smell like it is presented as, berries. When I spritzed the sanitizer on my hand it smelled like some sort of wine, and it was not a very pleasant smell. Touchland do better. But overall the employees are nice and the other thing I got was scent 48 from Sol De Janeiro which smells amazing. read more

Went to Ulta- 84South store with the intent of stocking up on cosmetics. I could not find the brand and was obviously walking back and forth to find the brand. A guy working there (black short hair), saw me but was blatantly avoiding to help. He walked back and forth not helping anyone. I was paying attention to his work ethic, which was zero. Very aloof with a "I'm too cool" attitude. That is my last straw and rather than give my $ to Ulta, I will buy direct from the cosmetic company online. Every-time I have gone to this store I hope they will have my color of Dermablend foundation, but they never do so that is another reason why I won't be back. read more

I'm a huge fan of Ulta and shop here on a regular basis. Today I visited the new store in Greenfield. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable regarding the makeup and skin care products they sell. It was pretty busy today but the line to check-out moved quickly. Considering the holiday is only days away, the shelves remained stocked and I found exactly what I needed. One of the things I really like about Ulta is that you will always know exactly what you are buying and you don't have to rely on hoping that a product is right for you. There are testers you can sample of just about all makeup, perfumes, lotions and skin care products, along with, employees are available to help guide and inform you about products that are just right for you. read more

While I was minding my own business smelling the new tree hut scrubs, I believe a manager walked by my friend and I, I think her name is Teri. She rudely interrupted the conversation we were having saying I put my nose in one of the stubs when I know I didn't. She was raising her voice saying she has to defected the scrub now and she swiped it from my hands even though I kept saying I was gonna buy it. What a bad experience never coming to this location ever again!! read more

I have come to this store since it was built and haven't had any issues until recently. I understand having the security guards that makes sense and I don't care if they check on me every once in a while. But what's the point of a security guard if your staff is going to watch every move I make. One out of the multiple women who walked up to me asked me if I needed help which wouldn't be a problem for me if the other workers weren't standing feet away from me just watching me. The staff (with the exception of a few people) isn't even friendly either, the whole environment in this store is just uncomfortable. read more

This business is doing a very poor job metering customers or enforcing social distancing recommendations. Customers are put in long, slow, and crowded queues in narrow, enclosed aisles. This puts everyone at risk for exposure to coronavirus. This store needs to shut down until it better handles business during a pandemic. In normal times, I shop here on the regular. I do like this store. As far as the lay out and how many good brands they carry. Ulta has so many coupons and free gift offers, it's hard to pass up. I have been disappointed by their customer service lately. I hate to say this because I do like this company. It just seems the employees are more concerned about talking to each other and shrugging their shoulders when they are out of the "free" gift you went there to get along with your purchase. The last time I was in, the manger was yelling across the aisles about breaks and when they could take them. One of the employees had a question about time , and the manager took the defensive stance and argued a bit. Managers should have a little more "tact" when dealing with employees while on the floor. I will say I like the layout of this store, but the staff, is not the greatest. It's hit or miss. I prefer Nordstrom makeup department . read more

Ulta must make it their goal to hire air heads. Went in tonight to buy a few things. I was yelled a greeting from someone working the register but the aknolwedgement ended there. A few employees and what looked like a manager (large, red hair wearing a pink jacket) were just standing around talking amongst themselves oblivious to the fact of people around them. I remember working with people exactly like them when I used to work at and Ulta back in the day. I feel im pretty savvy and can find my own stuff but to actual customers who need help this is off putting and is a major reason why they dont go back. Extremely unprofessional the way they handle things! They only cater to white people, and immediately racially profile when you walk in those doors. Came in for a simple transaction (had my receipt) as I paid in cash mind you. This so-called manager tall white, chubby, dark long hair told me "usually for a purchase this big it requires in store credit. I immediately thought but why if I paid in cash not gift card and I have MY receipt? She called one of her superiors over so I explained to her the situation and asked, for MY return am I supposed to receive in store credit - low and behold she said NO and the original "manager" who told me that I did changed her story and said that isn't true. She was being so obnoxious and rude and from the moment she saw my transaction she was already annoyed. My purchase was a viktor and rolf perfume that was $158, I'm sorry can I not change my mind and return it? Why tell me "uSuALLy for a PurChASe tHis bIG" I'm supposed to receive in store credit? I get it you're not selling because you're not a sell specialist and you can't make day or your segments but that isn't our fault you're not competent for what your position entails. I just don't understand why the ENTIRE time throughout the transaction she acted very rude and condescending and kept looking at me with a stupid face before her superior came to close out the transaction. This store has issues because I'm not the only person complaining about the racism going on throughout this store. LAST I ever purchase from this garbage store. Let me start by giving some background information before getting into what happened. My mom works at the hospital and makes chemo for a living. I'm a caretaker for my grandmother that has Dementia-Alzheimer's. My mom and I came to exchange a perfume I spent a good $70 bucks on. Before anything, I approached The Who looked like manager that so happened to be the person upfront to ask: how should I go about exchanging my perfume? Do I grab the item I want- then go upfront? Or do I return then look for the item I want? She disregarded me. She didn't make eye-contact. She continued to arrange the Revlon blow dryers. Having worked Retail for many years, my immediate thought was well maybe she's corporate and is there to just there to arrange Revlon's products. So I asked if she worked for Revlon or Ulta? She disregarded my question. Ignored me like I didn't exist and continued arranging her items. And told me that I could do whichever I want. Not once making eye contact or stopping what she was doing. Having worked retail, when a customer comes to you when you're in the middle of something: you're supposed to stop what you're doing. Make eye contact to acknowledge that person and take the time to help that person. After having that experience with The Who looked like the manager, I got in line to return the item. The guy I got upfront at the registers was extremely rude. Comfortable being rude. At that point, I really wanted to get another perfume so I went back to the perfume area with my mom. A bunch of workers were huddled up and looked at us from head to toe. Didn't say a thing. Continued talking and didn't say a thing. Continued to have conversation. At that point, we felt like spending our hard earned money wasn't worth it at this place. My mom makes medication and chemo for sick patients. The same patients that could be your mom. aunt. Grandma. Grandpa. Hospitals are extremely short- staffed and workers are working like machines to keep up with the load. Literally. When mom gets off work, she watches my grandmother so I can rest. To then go back to work the next day. Restless. Stressed. I've been a full- time caretaker for the past 4 years and I don't have much time to myself. Today was my mom's one day off and we came to Ulta to exchange the perfume. Instead of having a pleasant experience, we dealt with this type of disgusting treatment. My mom was in tears. Not because she was sad but because she works so hard just to come into a place for those employees to not even have the decency of saying hello never mind making customers feel welcomed. I would think being in the middle of a Pandemic, people would be more courteous. Nice. Respectful. And know how to treat a human being. Regardless of how they may look. The person you'd least expect - who's hair is looking rough. Who isn't dressed in designer. Who doesn't have any makeup on. Who looks like they know nothing about beauty... may be the same person who would spend $500 on their daughter/niece. Just cause. After today, there's no going back to this store. read more

The worst ulta ever. The manager is very rude and racist. A muslim couple walked out the door in front of us and my daughter, a 7 year old, questioned me why "that lady" the manager, looked at them the way she did. Everyone there is very rude, they yell across the store, and my daughter was holding a two faced lip balm and bringing it to me to ask if she can purchase it and an employee yelled at her to put it back. I've been thoroughly enjoying discovering this new Ulta, even though I've been a Sephora VIB Rouge forever. I stopped in on a Friday evening, and it was like a party in there -- lots of happy, helpful people, and positive energy. I'm a bit of a product junkie, and spend a lot of time and money on various lotions and potions. Sometimes, you go into a beauty store and feel like everyone is harshly judging your look, but this location is very welcoming and fun. This is what makeup and beauty should be about - the joy and freedom of self-expression via your unique look. But I digress. In addition to their wide selection of products and brands, the Ulta salon is terrific. Making appointments via the app or in person is easy and efficient, and I like what Sarah does with my hair. I've also enjoyed a relaxing refreshing mini facial (thanks to a special promo -- only $10!) and will do that again for sure. Not abandoning my beloved Sephora, just making room in my heart for Ulta, too. :) read more

Sales floor associates won't help you if you don't look a certain way but will follow you around the store and stare at you (maybe because I'm a minority). I asked the manager (don't know her name but she had the typical Karen hair cut) I think I heard them call her Edith for help on a item I was looking for. She was very rude and rushing us and simply said no we don't have it. She never offered to help or even to check if another store or online had the item and walked away before we were even done talking. The cashier that checked me out on the other hand was very pleasant and assisted me with whatever I needed. Maybe the store manager should learn a thing or two about customer service or maybe needs to be retrained. The store was not busy and they had more than enough staff to help customers. I have been to this Ulta multiple times and it is the only one around my area. Every time I go here the employees are so rude and never acknowledge costumers when coming in. When I walked in only one girl said hi and the other three workers were just standing there having their own off topic conversation. The cashiers never said hi and just seemed uninterested and came off really rude. The store has great products but unfriendly employees that make me not wanna go back. read more

Horrible customer service today. Made an appointment for eyebrow waxing and 30 minutes past the appointment time I was still waiting. No apology, just got side eyed by 3 employees like I was up to no good the entire time I walked around waiting. The excuse I was told is that she was unaware of the appointment, isn't that what an appointment book is for? Instead of assuming no new appointments were made, it should be best practice to check especially when you are aware you have openings. read more

This location typically gives the poorest service and has the least product knowledge, out of all the nearby Ulta Beauty stores; employees are rude, unprofessional, and the store isn't kept presentable throughout. Pre-covid cleaning protocols, the makeup try on counters were often dirty and littered with used applicators. I've seen and overheard employees stand around gossiping loudly amongst themselves (sometimes about their own customers/co workers), while customers shopped nearby. I've witnessed lack of team work and initiative at the checkout counter, where one or two girls will pick up the slack while others lazily stood about and/or continued yapping regardless busy lines. I will often drive out of my way to the Mayfair Collection/Bay Shore locations, just to avoid this trainwreck. read more

Today is my FOURTH time going for something specific that was either out of stock, put in the wrong place (yep, got the wrong Morphe brush yesterday by accident) or just plain not sold at that specific store. Today's episode was a listing of Morphe 35T as being in stock AT THE STORE. The employee asked the manager who developed major attitude with a flippant "Online YEAH but NOT HERE". Well, lady, I came in because the Ulta website and app said it'd be here. Let down again. Usually staff is helpful, but it's gotta get old for them to have to say "I'm sorry, we don't carry that here, but you can try the Brookfield store" Original post---I've been disappointed with this particular Ulta store having such limited stock. One time I got the very last foundation in my shade, and another time they were completely out of makeup revolution contour palettes - both kinds of the palette. This is the worst ulta salon I've been to. The hairstylists Santana and Sarah are both discriminatory against black and brown people. They refused to do my hair over and over. Making appointments was a hassle with them. And don't even think about cancelling, and calling in because they won't even note it and just call you a no show. The manager of ulta promised me a discount on my next hair visit here because of their errors in making appointments , then that same hair stylists said no. Terrible terrible service. Would not recommend. The ones by Mayfair are much better. This ulta is a flop. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

So I have had a few instances at this store in the past that made me a little not sure of going back but ever since my last not so great experience things have turned around. First thing, the manager Alexa is super sweet and very friendly and extremely helpful. I would say she definitely goes above and beyond. Then there is Sieana who has greeted me the last two days I was there. She is very sweet also and answered any questions I had and showed me where things were that I was looking for. Last, there is Autum who works in the salon and she has done my hair twice and I loved it. She is also fun to talk to and down to earth. I love this sore. The employees are helpful and will give you their honest opinion which is a plus. Like everybody else, I hate Covid. We can not try products at this time but one day we will be able to again. That's why it's nice to have the honest opinions from the employees who have tried products that I may want to buy. Today atleast 3 employees told me how much they love the new setting spray by Benefit. Since they all love it and even compared it to other sprays and how it is better and why, I purchased the big bottle instead of trying the mini one. I have been to other Ulta stores where I have been ignored and people didn't help me so the Greenfield store is for sure my favorite and it's a plus because its like 2 blocks from home. read more
