I purchased a membership in August of last year, it is now March of the next year and I have been charged $44 a month every month since. Not only is it incredibly difficult/nearly impossible to cancel (you have to go in person to do so) but in the app it also has continually stated "payment method failed" even though the money is taken out of my account. Very rude workers who act like they can't be bothered to help/everything is an inconvenience. Would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Love sun tan city!! Able to carry my membership with me to every state that has a Sun Tan City. Lately i have been very displeased with this facility which is upsetting because I've been coming here for over 20 years. Today there was only 1 person at counter with very many people standing waiting to get a bed. It was just too slow and needed another employee to help get people what they need. I do believe they are hiring if any tanners are looking for extra cash and discounted tans. Last time it was the spray tan that clogged and it left me blotchy. That wouldn't have been so bad but i spent about 8 days and countless hours getting busy signals when i called, plus was blamed, then app chat was over 6 hours over time. That situation was finally handled by the manager. ( I wish i would have talked to her first because she has always provided Amazing, Profesional service and is great with understanding each client and a good disposition! Today was just too busy to deal with what i think may have been end of lunch hours last minute sessions. She should not have been alone up front and i just couldn't deal with this today!! Also, as much of a loyal customer as i am, i do have to say that most all of the beds need to be updated. Place is clean. Needed a quick tan before an upcoming vacation. The instant tan beds are really nice, the faster beds are ok and get the job done. The staff is beyond nice! The computers go down a lot. Like tonight at 7::35PM I went in. At 8:02PM, They then proceed to tell you.. "I have good news and bad news, our computer isn't working here, but you can go to another location even further from your house and hope their computer works. They don't close until 9". Don't even offer any reimbursement for your wasted time showing up, getting a sitter to relax a bit away from home, just ask you to leave. This is my go to tanning spot. I don't do anything fancy, just an in and out quick tan. All the girls are so sweet, someone is ALWAYS cleaning whenever I go in. I've been to another location that is bigger and newer but I like that these beds have personal radios in each and the rooms are dim and relaxing. I don't get many chances to get out and have me time as a mom but I make a point to spoil myself with a weekly trip Update 6/29/19 Ran in last night, my bed was gross. The bottom was wiped down but when I got done and pushed it open there was tanning lotion gooped onto the top. Got dressed and put my glasses on to get a better look and there was even lotion on the "this bed has been sanitized" sign. That's just laziness. I hope this doesn't happen again. read more

So the girls here at the actual salon are the sweetest but Sun Tan City company and management have truly been a disappointment. I'm not one to give negative reviews even when I'm not completely satisfied, but this company has been very unfair. I signed up for a 12 month sunless spray tanning membership. First, they didn't fully explain until about 2 months later that my membership included another spray tan booth option. I didn't mind too much and started going in the upgraded spray tan booths after that. Then, about a month ago they offered an add (which I signed up for ) onto my membership which included one of the uv tanning booths I could go into until February. I made sure the girl that signed me up explained everything to me. She told me it was an ADD on to my sunless spray tanning membership and my access to the UV tanning booth would end in February and my sunless spray tanning membership would continue until my 12 months were up which would have been in May 2020. She neglected to inform me the only lotion I could use for the spray tanning and UV tanning booth at the same time was a lotion I didn't have and it would be an additional $80 for the lotion which was a huge bottle. It would be such a waste since my add on only lasted until Feb. So anyways after signing up in December, the new year hit and I logged into my account because I was going to check in for a spray tan, and when I logged on it said I had no memberships!!!! Not only was my sunless spray tanning membership (which I was suppose to have until May 2020) was not existent, but the membership add on that I signed up for and was suppose to end in Feb wasn't existent either! I called the company explaining everything and asking what happened, and after being on a long hold, the girl told me I didn't have any memberships! I asked what happened and she couldn't even give me an answer. All she said was I have no memberships with them. I have no idea what happened to my memberships. It was seriously the worst service I've ever had with a company. Like I said I'm not one to give negative feed back! As the name states, a tanning place. Not much to expect, they have tanning beds and overpriced products. Location is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I have been there about 3 times now and besides trying to sell and push extra products the first couple of times, I have no problems with this location. I go for the spray tan and I'm very happy with it. Process is easy and very quick and opposed to everyone's impression of it, you do not turn orange or have the Ross experience from Friends. Overall takes about 5 minutes, 2 of it being the spraying part. In and out in a flash. I had been to another location to start and they were just awful. I recommend this location. This place nickel and dimes you to death! They make no exceptions for bringing in kids under 12 and act like you should know state laws. If they weren't so close to work I would go elsewhere. They are so rude! If you have another choice for tanning...take it!! read more

I used to tan at summertime tan and switched to hear and have never been happier. The hours are AMAZING And the staff at all 3 location I use are so friendly and it's so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and positivity. The beds are so strong that I can go once a week and stay dark! I get what I pay for, quality products, beds, and great service! read more
