She completely hacked my eye brows. I came in with these beautiful thick bushy brows. I asked for a clean up and tint only. I walked away with tiny eye brows. I feel like I'm going to vomit. They have completely lost my business forever. I have never been so disgusted in my entire life. I left crying. The woman did not even care. There was nothing that could be done. I will never go back.

I feel like an idiot for going to the other place.

Overall, I've had good experiences at Tuscan. I utilize this place for waxes (bikini or Brazilian)…read more The aestheticians that I've used have been really good. Both Michelle and Marissa are thorough, professional, and friendly. Considering how awkward the experience is, they both do a good job of making it as quick and painless (HAHAHA) as possible. Haven't taken advantage of any other services so I can't attest to the quality of anything else except the waxes. I'm satisfied with those (obviously). I'll continue to use Tuscan when I get in for my quarterly visit to WV.

This is about one experience only for a dazzle nail polish. Tuscan was the ONLY place in the…read morecounty that was doing dazzle. It was supposed to last as long or longer than gel but the selling point was it was not as damaging to your nails not needing cured. When the person was done I checked my nails and almost everyone of them had large gaps on the sides of the nails where no polish had been applied at all. It looked worse than doing them yourself. I was not sure how to nicely say they were a hot mess so I just showed her the edges how they lacked any color at all and she understood. She attempted to correct the problem, but it really did not as she did not give those nails the full treatment which was two coats and a top coat or coats but instead applied only one layer. This was not what was done to the few nails that were fully coated. Needless to say within the week, the polish came off on all the edges she had tried to fill in for a brand new manicure!!! Very disappointing and not the usual for Tuscan. Money wasted and I really did not get a chance to compare the dazzle nails to gel due to this experience.

Boy , i absolutely hate to do or say this but I must worn any and all about the experience I just…read morehad at this establishment! I traveled here due to being out of town with my daughter while having a baby. I have owned my own very successful salon for 18 years now so I do consider myself an expert in this industry. First off , to only carry the size lashes to you do your only providing services to one level of customer? Why advertise differently ? My advise to anyone reading this is Do not go to place if you want anything other than natural classic look. I myself personally know these lashes cost a lot and I want them noticeable. This place should not advertise they do hybrids, volume, or mega volume because they do not. The highest size they carry is 12. And she didn't even have that size today. Only 11. I wear size 13 thru 17 Next let's talk about class and not insulting a customer who doesn't like that type (classic /natural) of look. My ten minutes in this establishment were spent telling me my lashes are ruined , (they are not , pretty sure I been getting them done 6 years now and I'll get done after here too) just because you like a natural look doesn't mean people who want to know they have lashes on are wrong or not healthy. Quoting your status and that you teach actually makes u look even more less educated from a fellow lasher when all you can do is talk natural. A well educated lasher should have more knowledge of a not so natural look. And if that's all you want to offer than state that. Make that very clear in your advertising which you do not. You can argue healthy to me all day. Healthy is yes something that matters but natural and healthy are two very different things. My lasher name was Lani. Finally , I'm still sitting right in front of the salon and let me say if this woman is not an owner than the owners should know all she's done is for an hour now in the front is sit on the stool at the front of the salon. If this is the type of staff you want than I wish you well but I'm positive you won't make it. in my 18 yrs of experience you want clientele of all sorts

My review is for the Fairmont location…read more I liked the assortment of items for purchase - prices were reasonable. I liked the waiting area - until I sat there almost 40 minutes. I was 30 minutes early but still waited an additional 40 minutes. Other customers were left unattended in the spa chair. One sweet lady had waited so long she threatened to leave AND had been phoned to come in AND the tech who phoned her did not remember calling her! I didn't see any licenses on display - a mechanic could have been doing my service. It certainly felt that way. Numerous times I had to ask my tech to be more careful. I have NEVER had a pedi that left my toes painful to the touch. I have one finger that is so sore under my nail because the tech cleaned under the nail not paying attention to the tool she grabbed. She said she's been there 3+ years? How? Zero time management. The plate of food was a nice touch, but I'd trade that for a more professionally ran spa. No tub liners were used, my tools were not opened in front of me - I'm not even sure they were sterilized. The salon wasn't dirty, but it did look cluttered, messy, and disorganized. TS was my fourth nail salon to try in Fairmont. The previous three were just as bad or worse. I was told TS was the best in Fairmont. I hope not, or I'll be trying salons in a whole different city. The tech did do a good job. I mean, my nails look nice. But the entire experience was not worth $100+. Honestly. My appt was at 1:45. I didn't leave until close to 5. My entire afternoon was shot. I will not be going back to the nail salon.
