Just tried returning a $9 item but missed the 60 day window and they refused to give me store credit because policy changed in '24, I explained i have returned items after the 60 days since '24. Generally it's an unspoken advantage of being Platinum or Diamond. Normally wouldn't care but it was more about the attitude of the lead cashier and manager. The person ahead of.me inline asked about a free item with purchase and 'lead cashier' said their is usually a amount that needs to be met but "That's ok, I'll just give it to you." In addition, she allowed the person to sample the scent of the birthday gift. Spend lots of money and you cant even return a $9 item but someone else can sample.birthday scents and get a free gift even though they didn't spend enough. Make it make sense? I used to shop a ton at this location but the store is so messy and unappealing. Stock is not well kept up with, perfume selection is there but many have no testers, and don't get me started on the restrooms. Trash overflowing, no soap, no paper towels but toilet paper on the counter to be used as a paper towel. Have you ever tried to use toilet paper to dry your hands? It just clumps up into tiny wads and doesn't work. The restroom is always like this too. Do better for your guests! This place needs an overhaul. I can't say I'm a fan because I only shop here maybe once a year. They have a great "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sale on hair products. It's a great deal when buying name brand items like Redkin, Matrix, and others. I also like receiving the 20% coupon that is sent out periodically to ultimate reward members. There are many other good deals which is why this store is very popular. Unfortunately, I don't go very often because it's so difficult to get in and out of Regency Square because of the traffic situation. Also, I don't think I've ever had any of the sales staff volunteer to assist me with anything. This place is packed with what looked to be every type of makeup a person could want. 1000's of various colorful containers of all types of products promising to make your skin healthier and you look better. There is an aisle for men's products, but most of the store is (obviously) geared towards women. The staff was helpful as needed. The check out lines were a bit long, but moved at a good pace. Prices seemed high to me, but I know very little about make up products, so they could be right on par for quality items. Made an appointment on a whim to get my hair cut and instantly regretted it. Asked for a shoulder length cut, got that. Asked for the blonde in my hair to be darkened, got that. Asked for the ends to not be so blunt, kind of got that?? Then the stylist said she'd do some face framing which I was okay with.....until she did it. She saw I was looking at the cut and reassured me it was not the cut that was bad but the previous balayage that made it look that way. When everything was said and done, she gave me a blowout and somewhat curled it. Needless to say the cut added a good 10+ years on my age. I got my hair cut here as I've never had a problem getting it done at any other Ulta location I've been to, even in different states. I left with a blow out and my hair looked fine, not usually how it looks but I could tell she didn't add layers like I asked so I figured that was the problem. 20 minutes later when I arrived at home and the blowout had fallen and it looked like she took a weed whacker to my hair. I even went back to have her fix it and it was still so horrible I had to drive to a different location to get my hair cut (since I had been there before and loved it). I called and was able to get in with Alisha~ all I can say is thank goodness for happy accidents! Alisha was able to salvage what hair I had left and had me looking myself in no time at all! She even found creative ways to color and highlight my hair following a major chest surgery so I could feel as normal as possible! The only ulta around for miles, usually pretty clean inside. Staff is mostly friendly. However I do run into the problem of the store not being stocked on popular items and/or trying to find an associate can be very frustrating. Usually when I find an associate, I have to ask them to check their stock because some will look at the shelf and just tell me there's nothing there without looking in the locker drawers below. Check out lanes do take a while be it the line is long or short with one or two people. Prices are decent but I stick to ulta brand and/or NYX which are heavily shopped in my area. It'd be nice if they kept it stocked on the floor or have backup stock, especially during sales. read more

Tip of advice-If you think a patron might be a shoplifter, don't say It in front of them! If you're wrong-you look like a huge ass. I don't typically leave reviews. Ever. However, a week later-this is still bugging me. I stopped into the Brandon Ulta to browse and pick up some new products. I'm not a huge make up person-so it does take me a bit longer to look at products and determine what I need. I was looking at some on sale UD lipsticks. An associate asked if I needed help, and I asked if they had a shade that was missing. They were out. No big deal. I kept looking and comparing shades. The associate kept hanging around me. It was getting awkward. Here's the kicker- I heard her, only inches next to me say on her intercom "hold on, I need to watch her". She then proceeded to stand there and stare at me. I regret not saying anything. I should have. I don't steal, and this was insulting and uncomfortable. I kept shopping, but moved to the other side of the store. I went there with a purpose, and it was a long drive to turn around and leave. I however, won't be back. Teach your staff how to handle these circumstances. And teach your staff not to treat your patrons like criminals. I had a terrible night the night before and just wanted to buy some new makeup as retail therapy. You made my day even worse. read more

I had the best experience having my hair done at the Ulta Salon. This was my first experience at this salon, Sharleen is an amazing hair stylist. She really listens and explains every to keep your mind at ease. I had a lot of breakage and damage and I brought pictures and she took her time to explain what I can do to save length but yet get my healthy again. My hair feels and looks amazing, I will be back to have my color done again and when it's time definitely to get my trims. I would highly recommend Sharleen for your hair needs. read more

I've came here twice in the last 2 months and both times were not that great. I will say both women were very kind but I won't be coming back again. First Appointment: I got a very basic trim and some layers but the women was very rough on my scalp. I should have said something in the moment when she was parting and brushing my hair (so i take fault for that). I realized when i got home that i had minor cuts on my scalp. Second Appointment: I decided i wanted to color my hair and get some highlights along with a minor color correction. The full color is fine but the highlights are thick like Britney Spears from he early 2000's and are warm toned when I obviously have cool toned skin. The picture I showed her is very subtle, cool toned highlights which she said she could do. I paid $200 for this and am very unhappy with the result. I figured I would try out their benefits brow studio as I was told on the phone I could try popping in if I wanted to get them done. Well I did no one was in the section to help me and apparently only one woman works there on sundays despite many chairs and she was out and no one could find her. Usually if a place can get me in even if I have to wait for a bit I will stay and usually means I will buy more because I'm waiting but it was chaos and off putting I'm sorry but if you need your brows done your not waiting a week for an appointment that's absurd.
