There were still a handful of items that I could safely have. I really wanted the schnitzel or Cordon Bleu, but both were fried. Total bummer. The staff and owner were excellent. They understood what I could and couldn't have. That being said, what my wife and I ordered was FANTASTIC. The gluten free bun was amazing. So much so, that I had the check if they made a mistake. I am insanely sensitive, and highly reactive (less than 10ppm gets me violently ill) and had no reaction. My wife loved her meal and could not believe it was GF. The menu had an eastern European feel to it, but I suspect there would be something for everyone. HONESTLY... one of the best home made fresh, natural (real) food restaurants i have ever been to. I would recommend 100/100.

The plate comes with a small salad, pita bread, fries, choice of protein, and side of tzatziki sauce. The beef was tender, but not all that flavorful. I actually finished everything else prior to the protein which is a first. Although the chicken that is so good and with the occasional crunchy bits! The french fries were perfectly crispy and the feta cheese balanced out the saltiness for me. We actually came back here before our flight back home and got the shawarmas! TSA almost got to my tzatziki sauce since it went through inspection but thankfully it didn't! Definitely coming back!

The friends platter had a little bit of most things and was also just a beautiful work of art. Loved loved loved the lamb chop and wish there we'd gotten more of that. I usually don't go for chicken but these chicken kebabs were so moist and flavorful. I loved too how fine the donair was shaved. The Ali Nazik was probably my favorite thing because of that garlicky buttery yogurt sauce that I just wanted to bathe all my meats in. The table loved the Lahmahcun so much that we got a second round. Super thin and crispy, and so so good eaten together with the onion, tomatoes, and lemon. And all the pita was so so pillowy soft! Also appreciated so much all the fresh veggies that accompanied everything so that it felt healthier. Great balance. Love love love. Also, not usually a criteria of mine but I really appreciated the interior too and having the little grocery area in the back. Casual, but immersive.

Tuna was nicely medium rare, not enough prosciutto between the cantaloupe and honeydew. Lamb skewer was gamey, enjoyed the pickled vegetables. Duck leg was decent, carrot velouté underneath was tasty. Italian doughnut was serviceable, chocolate cremeaux was better

Our server (if going by the receipt, her name was Kelly) was so personable and gave us her honest opinions on what to order. And the ambiance was excellent as well. We went in for a 6:15pm reservation on a Friday night, and we were pleased to see that it was fairly quiet, warm, and intimate. By the end of the meal, it had filled up and gotten louder, so if you're looking for a quiet date night, maybe try to come for 5:30 or so. And the food--just wonderful. The cider glazed Brussels sprouts dish was perhaps our favorite. I don't think I've ever had better fried Brussels sprouts, and the sweet and savory notes were perfectly balanced. That's also what makes their pear and brie pizza a popular item as well: sweet/savory balance and the correct amount of truffle oil to make fragrant and not overpower. The cavatelli was also excellent, the fennel-lemony flavor helped not make the dish feel so heavy. The saffron arancini was just okay, but everything else was so good that I wasn't unhappy. I was a bit sad that they didn't offer any birthday dessert, but it was still such a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back again!
