First off, huge points for being one of the few places open in the afternoon when everyone else is closed! We were so hungry but having the hardest time finding somewhere open. And the anime theme was really cute. There were references all over the restaurant and the music they played also fell into that theme.
We ordered the:
Creamy udon - when we ordered, I expected creamy to mean like thicker like actual cream. But it was actually more along the lines of soupy but a milk based broth. But it was still good! It was very onion forward and there was a good amount of meat.
Kake udon - this dish is just so homey. It was basically seaweed soup with udon and some other toppings, really delicious.
My only complaints are that it took a hefty amount of time for our food to come out, which was especially odd because we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. And the dishes seemed pretty overpriced. But the server was really nice! He let us sit wherever we wanted so we ended up sitting at the traditional Japanese tables on the floor which was very fun! read more
