I had the pork ramen with the veggie broth and it was so good! The noodles were cooked " al dente " and the broth was very flavorful and not too salty. When I eat ramen, I always have the veggie broth because it is less rich. Overall it was really good, the only thing I didn't like was the size of the pork belly slice. It was way too thin in my opinion :( They also do take away which I had before! The prices are reasonable and you get served quickly. They also have a few desert options which I need to try! My husband said that she continued to be rude to them and other patrons. My kid said that his curry pork rice was the worst. The curry was clumpy and the rice was mushy. My husband said that his ramen was mediocre at best. The meat was dry and the noodles were clumped together. There are many other options at the Chamonix Village. One side note: I liked the kick of the spicy oil, but since that particular ramen comes with butter, it felt a bit too oily. My recommendation is to only add spicy oil to ramen that doesn't come with butter :) I felt that both the curry and ramen dishes needed some salt. Luckily, this was easily remedied by a couple shakes of the salt shaker. Overall, we enjoyed our first lunch in Chamonix!

Did I mention that they served Soba noodles? The broth had a lot to be longed for, but at least the noodles were al dente and bouncy. It's a very modernized spot, that sits directly across from the train station/bahnhof. (Odd tidbit: It was actually hear that we determined that the preferred language was German). The decor inside is simple and gives open viewing to the kitchen that sits next to the cashiers (it almost looks like it can be a Ramen-Chipotle). Like the rest of Switzerland, it's a bit pricey, but definitely satisfied our ramen fix (we've been back in Europe for 3 months at this point, and had not had any good noodle dishes lately).

(Not that we set our standard high, during our 2weeks in France, we had ate Ramen in Nice and it's way way better than this. The noodle is too sloggy (so soft that they were broken into short pieces) and soup is just normal. And the people operating are not even Japanese. Please go other ramen shop.
