Top-notch vegan ramen and more. My friend & I each ordered a ramen--mushroom shoyu for him and miso ramen for me--and were both extremely impressed with them. The miso ramen was more like a tantanmen, made with laksa paste and milk in the broth base, topped with spicy soy meat, purple cabbage, and lots of fresh cilantro. The noodles were plentiful and cooked well.
We also shared some gyoza topped with "spicy nuts" -- which turned out to be more of that delicious spicy soy mix and a crumble of toasted cashews and maybe other nuts. Fantastic stuff. We also shared a small side of mapo tofu don, which was extremely good -- lots of fermented bean paste, chili oil, but missing Szechuan peppercorns. Very tasty side.
All in all, top-notch quality for everything we tried, reasonably priced, and good service. Highly recommended. read more
