What a delightful dinner I had here! Soy soy is a completely vegan Asian restaurant. The vibe inside is pretty hip, and they're open until 10 pm (which is nice, since a lot of vegan places in Warsaw aren't open that late.)
We didn't consult the standard menu, since we ordered the holiday "Peking Feast" special (30 PLN/person, minimum of 2 people to order). It came with a fantastic bowl of wonton soup for each of us - wonton soup is one of the few things I miss eating since quitting meat, and this really hit the spot.
We then got dishes to share: a plate of mapo tofu (just a tad spicy, in a nice sauce), rice, and a plate of tasty udon noodles with really good seaweed salad on the side, topped with *the best* mock duck I've ever had. (How many times has she had mock duck, you may be wondering. At least 5 or 6, I think. And this was easily the best!)
The menu is bilingual Polish and English. They serve wine, beer, and cocktails. I didn't look closely about whether they're gluten free friendly, but most vegan places do a good job of accommodating allergies.
I'd recommend it for vegans and vegetarians for sure, but also for anyone who just wants a lovely Asian meal in Warsaw. read more
