What a cute little farm!!!…read more My husband and I wanted to take our 1 year old son to see some farm animals up close since we were in the area last Friday. We didn't have a lot of expectations given the reviews on here but we figured we check it out for our son. We were pleasantly surprised how much fun we had! When we walked in, we were greeted by the nice staff and volunteers who told us the $4 entrance fee goes towards donations to help feed, house, and care for all the animals. We also learned that they're rescue animals. They have a variety of farm animals to feed and pet including a donkey, ponies, sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. They offer a punch card when you purchase grains to feed the animals too. Our son had so much fun with the animals. He smiled and laughed in excitement which put a huge smile on our face. Keep in mind that the farm is small but they are working hard to expand for everyone of all ages. There's a cute little rollercoaster and pony carousel. They even have a small Wild West theme town for the kids to play on. We had a great time on the farm. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be sure to come back again.

We came for a visit and got to let baby cows, rabbits, and check out the alpacas and pigs. We also let the kids go for pony rides around Gardner village. We had a great time and will be back. I just really wish the staff wore masks. Nobody but us was masked, even the handlers taking the kids on the horses.

We make the drive to Tooele and the girl in the trailer said they didn't have the variety either. So upsetting to drive for nothing. So we go back to the salt lake location on long drive home and settled for another variety. Fast forward 2 months and the one we settle for is a rooster. Tnx Chase hatchery, you suck.

I genuinely don't know whether to review Chase Hatcheries as a poultry supplier or as an…read moreexperimental comedy business model. Let's start with the highlight: I ordered Easter Eggers and received a 100% rooster starter pack. Not "a few slipped through." Not "sexing error margin." No, a full boy band. Impressive, honestly. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth where they confidently insisted these very obvious roosters were, in fact, not roosters. At one point I felt like I was being gaslit... By chickens. Pro tip for future customers: apparently the fastest way to resolution is to threaten to return said roosters to their property. Suddenly, a refund appears! (Well... kind of.) Because of course, the "refund" was store credit only, which is a bold strategy when your core issue is trust in the product. So I used the credit (against my better judgment), placed another order, and... plot twist: the day before pickup, they inform me they don't actually have enough chickens. At that point, I requested a proper refund. And in true Chase Hatcheries fashion, they deducted the original credit from the refund. Full circle. No chickens, partial money, maximum confusion. Also worth noting: the staff were described as "high schoolers," which would be fine, except these kids looked about 10 and it was a Saturday. Not saying anything definitive, just... raising an eyebrow. May report to the state. Final verdict: If you're looking for chickens, I recommend literally anywhere else. If you're looking for a chaotic, poultry-themed life lesson in customer service failure, this place delivers. 0/10. Would not recommend.

I purchased a $28 peach basket that was advertised as a fill-your-own basket. After I filled the basket with peaches, an employee told me it was "too high" and removed several peaches without asking me first. What bothered me most was not the policy itself, but the way it was handled. If there is a limit to how full the basket can be, I would have appreciated that being explained before I filled it, or at least being asked whether I still wanted to purchase the basket after peaches were removed. I ended up paying the full $28 for significantly fewer peaches than I had originally selected. I understand that costs have gone up and that businesses need to set limits, but clear communication and good customer service go a long way. I've enjoyed shopping here for years, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve communication with customers in the future.
