We have been coming here for almost 10 years now and I love the doctors, the nurse practitioners,…read moreand nurses that we see. They really care about the kids and cater to them well. I love that if you have a sick kid, there is no need to make an appointment. They have walk-ins available at their North Michigan Ave location for sick children. Every time I leave a message to speak with a nurse, I always get a call back promptly to address my concern. Recently my toddler has had a fever and it was on day 5 and they have been very supportive with their advice and next steps of what me as a mom would need to do if the fever goes past the 5 days. Thankfully the fever did not come back after that 5th day but I felt like I was prepared with what the doctor told me after our visit, just in case it did happen. I love that they also are on the Healow App which makes it easy to make an appointment online without having to call and wait for the receptionist to schedule one for you. Overall, they are a great team of Pediatricians that help make my mom journey with a toddler and teenager a little bit easier.

For my friends who are also confused, you want to park in the Olympia Centre parking garage. It doesn't seem right, because the front of the building (facing Michigan Avenue) says 777 Michigan and that building has their own lot, but I called and she confirmed. Hope this saves someone some time and confusion!

Dr.Mikhail took care of my older one a preemie now a handsome young man soon to be 21 . My younger one was primarily seen by Dr.T over the years and so glad since they respect the kids like they do he adults at the practice. The staff are ever so cheerful and welcoming, remember to inquire about all in the family. Any new parents looking for a pediatrician don't look further ... this is the practice that nurtures and cares . Highly recommend!!

Down to earth, didn't make me feel like a failure of a parent, and truly listened to me. She left a few years ago and we started to see Dr. Tram Luu. The care was fine, but it never felt the same. At times, I felt like my concerns were dismissed and there wasn't a lot of support. Overall, I just never connected with Dr. Luu as I did Dr. Foster, but Dr. Luu did spot an eye issue with my oldest son that was critical and ended up leading to eye surgery a few years ago. He is now thriving and his eyesight has improved so I'm forever grateful for that. We have since left CAHA mainly because we moved, but also because I didn't feel the care was good enough to warrant the hour drive once a year.

My son has been a patient here for seven years, and I've finally decided we will not be returning…read more At his recent seven-year checkup, I received a $130 bill because the office tried to classify it as a "double visit." After multiple calls and days of waiting, I was told the charge wouldn't be covered because I had asked for a letter for speech therapy. Even worse, the original explanation given to me was that we were charged because "autism was brought up" during the visit. This is absolutely unacceptable. My son has been on the spectrum --why would I be charged extra for discussing his health during a well visit? If this was truly a "double visit," that should have been communicated upfront, not hidden in the billing process. It feels dishonest and misleading. Families who already have enough to manage should not have to fight surprise charges or be made to feel like discussing their child's diagnosis is somehow billable. After this experience, I cannot recommend this office. Parents deserve transparency, compassion, and honesty in their child's care, and unfortunately, that is not what we received here.

She was dismissive, rude and impersonal. She clearly did not care about our children and her line of questioning showed the least amount of care possible. She quickly read through all questions without even looking up to see what our responses were. I do not recommend this business at all. People working in pediatric care should be patient and show empathy, my family received none of that.

Weems has no privileges at suburban hospitals, and has no relationships with any specialist and no ability to get you in any sooner than if you cold called on your own. Most recently, she ghosted us when we asked for post-surgical pain meds for our 11 year-old who had a laceration so deep the tendons in her hand were visible. Ghosted! The doctor we saw initially didn't do a great job at answering a lot of my questions, and I wound up crying the whole drive home. I was worried that if I made an appointment with one of the other practitioners that I'd offend the first one or that it meant I was being a bad parent. I finally made an appointment with another doctor after three other medical professionals gently recommended that we try a different doctor. It's not that the practitioners weren't competent (they were!), but the communication style left a lot to be desired. It's so important for your child that they have a doctor that you as the parent can also trust. Definitely feel empowered to find the doctor you feel most confident with. Other great things: - Once we found practitioners we did click with - they were absolutely fantastic. Easy to communicate with and answered questions clearly. - I've only great experiences with the front desk staff. I'm not saying this to invalidate the other reviews, just saying that I've had a totally different experience. They've been responsive, friendly, and helpful. - They offer walk-ins, a 24/7 nurse line, and house calls. We haven't had to use any of these, but I feel so secure as a parent knowing that we have such accessible care in the event that it is needed. - Great book selection in the waiting room. The Carrot Seed? Classic.

I've now been to each of the Weissbluth locations. I have a coworker who goes to this location and…read moreso I knew they had better parking in general than the Bucktown location. Also, the doctor I selected for my daughter's "official" pediatrician, Dr. Asha, is here so I figured I'd need to go here if I wanted to use her. Though we haven't been able to see Dr. Asha but for the time she was on rounds in the hospital after I gave birth a few weeks ago, we have been able to see Dr. Akta, whom we also met in the hospital. Dr. Akta is great, very friendly and good with my newborn. The check-in staff were friendly as well, and the nurse asked if we wanted her to wear a mask (yep! Still masking when out and about and especially with a newborn who has no immune system). The waiting area is similar to the other locations, with books, an aquarium, and whatnot to keep little ones occupied. This location seems particularly large and has a second floor--though I don't know those are exam rooms; it seemed like it was a space for something else. They also have several parking spots in their private lot, and given their location in the South Loop there's lots of street parking around as well.
