We have been coming here for almost 10 years now and I love the doctors, the nurse practitioners, and nurses that we see. They really care about the kids and cater to them well. I love that if you have a sick kid, there is no need to make an appointment. They have walk-ins available at their North Michigan Ave location for sick children. Every time I leave a message to speak with a nurse, I always get a call back promptly to address my concern. Recently my toddler has had a fever and it was on day 5 and they have been very supportive with their advice and next steps of what me as a mom would need to do if the fever goes past the 5 days. Thankfully the fever did not come back after that 5th day but I felt like I was prepared with what the doctor told me after our visit, just in case it did happen. I love that they also are on the Healow App which makes it easy to make an appointment online without having to call and wait for the receptionist to schedule one for you. Overall, they are a great team of Pediatricians that help make my mom journey with a toddler and teenager a little bit easier. read more

Today I drove around for 15 minutes trying to figure out which parking lot is the one they validate because I've only been to this location a few times. For my friends who are also confused, you want to park in the Olympia Centre parking garage. It doesn't seem right, because the front of the building (facing Michigan Avenue) says 777 Michigan and that building has their own lot, but I called and she confirmed. I have definitely written a few five star reviews for the team I have met here - like Dr. David McMahon - but I want to also add a five star review for Sarah and Perry, an amazing nurse team! They were so amazingly caring when my two girls came in with the flu (plus my five month old had RSV on top of the flu). They were so caring and warm with my girls (as you can imagine, toddlers and babies don't always love getting examined!), and I was so grateful to how they were cared for. And the amazing front desk team is just the best!! Shout out to Aaron who is always so happy, and also a shout out to the wonderful front desk partner that helped squeeze me in on a Sunday for this visit for my girls, even though they didn't have an an appointment. After attending a combination of gold coast and west town offices for 7 years, we will not be returning to this practice. I have had a couple issues over the years where I have received billing statements that overcharge me. I am a pharmacist and understand insurance charges fairly well... so I would not recommend this office if you aren't ready to review every statement and EOB thoroughly. Once, I was charged for a postpartum depression assessment that was never given. The office did remove the charge but I had to go into details to fight it. Another time, my kids received COVID tests under the same insurance, 1 was charged a copay and they other was not. I had to contact insurance to confirm they billed incorrectly and we should not have any covid testing charges. Lastly, we wanted to get a COVID test for my asymptomatic 2 year old, who had previously tested positive (5-10 days prior). The office declined to give the test and charged us for the visit. They state he needed evaluation and charged my insurance for "COVID treatment". The office refused to correct this charge as no treatment was given and he was asymptomatic so after all these billing issues, I am done with this place. Dr Weissbluth and his dad are really amazing for sleep advice (reason for the 2 stars) but I wouldn't recommend for anything else. read more

It's really lovely to experience such a child-friendly and caring practice! We moved around the country a lot and have seen several pediatricians, so I can compare. The doctors and nurses at Weissbluth Pediatrics set my kiddos at ease. There's never a long, uncomfortable wait sitting alone in the office. Routine test results are close to immediate or at lease same day. And I'm especially a fan because of how accommodating and fast they were about following-up after a couple of recent emergency-room visits. I am truly grateful to be with a pediatric practice that takes their job seriously and doesn't make you bite your nails unnecessary. I have been meaning to make this review for weeks but I keep forgetting! I called Weissbluth Pediatrics last month to ask about more information on the practice itself as my son was sick and, as a family from New York who were here on a small visit, we were so clueless! I can't say who I spoke with both times I called the office but I do know that the first female I spoke to worked at the North Michigan office. She was so helpful listing what providers worked at what office and what the office offered. The second female I spoke to actually worked from the South Loop office (she said south Michigan and it could've been the same office but I don't know the city too well) and she was just as helpful! Both ladies and I'm sure the rest of the reception staff are absolutely amazing! They were so patient with making sure I was set for an appointment at a location convenient to me. Thankfully, my son got better and he didn't need to come in but I unfortunately wasn't able to personally thank the two receptionists for being so nice! read more

Puppy mill of pediatrics. Only interested in getting you out as fast as possible and billing you for every possible thing. They don't listen, and they don't much care, and it shows. They're not really interested in any particulars of your mostly healthy kids. When they say "any questions?" At minute 8 of your 10 minute slot, what they mean is "you have time for exactly one question." They have no idea if it's your first or fourth child, and they don't care either way because insurance pays the same. Find someone else. read more

Unfortunately for you, the points you made are 'complete falsehoods' - to borrow your phrase. I won't rebut each point- but on your point that we didn't enroll our son on our insurance in a timely manner despite your clear instructions- we actually added him to the insurance through our employee benefits function the day after he was born. Said differently, we literally added him as soon as legally allowed, any delay in coverage is out of our control, but thanks for casting blame on us. This is not a review. This is for your information. The south loop location administered the wrong flu vaccine dosage to my 3 y/o. I was informed about a month after it occurred via a hurried phone call. The call sounded like this: 1-are you aware of the situation? 2-so you aren't? ok so your daughter was administered the wrong dosage of the flu vaccine. we have notified the CDC. 3-she should come back in for another dosage. *im somewhat speechless* 4- did you want to speak to a manager? That was it. We pulled her out of the practice immediately. asked that they forward the required report to the CDC as well as inform us of the steps they put in place so that another family did not have to go through this as well as what happened with the nurse that carelessly administered the wrong dosage. We have received nothing yet and just an email saying *sorry to see you go*. Overall, the location is very poorly organized. We got our easy Remember, you have options for your child's care. And we will be exercising those options. UPDATE: Dr. Dan was very responsive and sincere in the follow up to our concerns. Even though we are moving to another practice, we are confident he will take the steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. read more

I have not given birth yet -- but I wanted to drop a note here for other expectant mothers. The Weissbluth Pediatrics free classes at Buy Buy Baby are really helpful. We were in the dark months ago. After attending a free prenatal class with Dr. Weissbluth on baby sleeping -- we were able to make much better decisions. I feel that it's important to have as much information as possible as a first time expectant couple. This class with Dr. Weissbluth set us up to be able to make better purchases and choices moving forward. read more

We have been long-time patients of Weissbluth and often recommended them to friends having babies. Unfortunately, I think they grew too fast -- the things that made us love the office (walk in appointments every morning, ability to see the same doctor, friendly reception staff) have drastically changed in the last year or so. We no longer have any walk in hours at our preferred location, have ended up at urgent care many times DURING open hours at our ped and don't feel like they have any interest in seeing our kiddos when they are sick. The doctors are wonderful, but with toddlers I need a practice that makes it easy to get in (their online portal is also the only way to schedule and it's a TERRIBLE system from a user experience POV). read more

Dr Dan is a kind, caring, supportive, wonderful doctor who loves his patients and makes parents feel comfortable and confident. Nurses are equally fantastic. There is rarely a wait time, and through digital technology it is always possible to reach a physician when needed - any time day or night. Dr Dan makes it worth the drive to come in from the suburbs for check ups. He treats my son and our family like we are the most important person/people he could help; and I know he treats all of his patients that way. read more

Weissbluth Pediatrics is stellar, and we've had truly excellent care here. The offices themselves are very happy and warm (can't say the same for many other pediatric offices in the city), and the providers and staff are all highly-skilled, friendly, professional, and efficient. Our first appointment as new patients was with Dr. Razan, a new doctor on staff at the Northwestern Office. I liked that we were paired, so that we could start our patient-doctor journey at WP together. Dr. Razan carefully listened to me, and I felt fully heard by her, and our questions addressed. At some point, we had to go to the ER (for a non-emergency), I had several questions as to why this was the recommended route, and Dr. Razan was very patient and thorough with me, answering every question both in person and on a separate call she proactively placed to me later. During the eventual ER visit, the ER doctors communicated with Dr. Razan - I was initially nervous that they wouldn't be able to connect, but there was no issue there. So I felt very reassured that we were in great care, and our doctors were communicating. Both Dr. Razan and the nurses on staff at WP were very attentive in follow-up visits and calls. It all felt extremely personal and genuine. We've used the Weissbluth Pediatrics Telemedicine feature, the morning walk-in hours for sick visits, and I appreciated the follow-up calls after sick visits as well. I found that administratively, everyone was proactive and responsive with paperwork requests - for example, handing me camp forms for vaccination history while we were walking out of our Spring annual checkup, providing receipts both in-person and electronically, very fast turnaround on Health Forms, etc. There's always a very quick response time to emails. All in all, a wonderful and well-run practice. read more

Dr. Dan was rude to me after I told him my twin daughter died from SIDS. Dr Weissbluth told me to let my grieving twin son cry himself to sleep at night and that my anxieties were unfounded about his SIDS risk. He told me to throw away my sons heart and apnea monitors. I went to my car and cried. I forgot to write a review to warn other parents but I overheard him at my next appt when I saw a diff doctor. He made it clear he didn't care how burned out their doctors are and dismissed their mental health concerns about the work culture. He has a compassion problem and creates a hostile work environment so no surprise he didn't offer me compassion. Find a different practice - and Dr Weissbluth - time to retire! Cold hearted Snobs! They run this place like a corporation not a Doctor office. If you are a first time Mom or exhausted I would not recommend going here. This last time I called to speak to a Doctor and ended up being charged $20 because my boss called when the Doctor called me back. On another occasion I went in and wasn't notified I had to call my insurance and add a dependent (my previous four visits covered no problem) and went to the office and paid $17 for parking and was refused care and made to feel embarrassed. The doctor wouldn't even answer a question. Reception should have called me before I came all the way there in 30 degree weather. Me and my daughter are fully insured. Another time after my 10 minute appointment with Dr.Tim and I couldn't think of a question I had fast enough (30 seconds delay) he handed me his card and said email me when you think of it. I have been to A LOT of doctors and never have a felt so rushed. I strongly discourage this practice they are known for sleep training and I called and couldn't even get their advice. The staff must for through hours of training how to be a robot. The list goes on and on. read more

I took my 5 year old in this morning for a drop-in visit as he has been coughing quite a bit for a week now (apparently we've been really fortunate in the past with a cold lasting only 4-5 days!). Beautiful, clean, bright office. The staff were all attentive and pleasant. They were able to take us right away. Misty is just the sweetest in her interaction with my little guy. We're first time parents and took our baby girl to see Dr. Mina Kim. Our first meeting (4 days after birth) with her was very important for us emotionally, as we were going through high anxiety about being parents and juggling conflicting advice and instructions from the hospital, nurses, family, and friends. Dr. Kim was very patient and comforting to us in that first meeting and spent more than half the time reassuring us on our care plan for our baby and clarifying the fog of information and anxiety we were experiencing. It's important for new parents in particular to have this kind of emotional awareness and support from their care providers, so I really appreciate Dr. Kim's approach. I recommend her highly to new parents seeking a pediatrician. The rest of the staff we encountered at the office were very friendly and warm. On site parking is free for patients, and very convenient for bringing in a newborn and a car seat. read more

Despite many recs for this provider for our newborn, we simply cannot. Our first red flag was the experience we had the morning after she was born at Prentice, when The doctor came to our room for her first exam. She walked in, introduced herself, went to the baby in her bassinet, listened to her heart, examined her for about 30 seconds, and then said "Okay great". She walked towards the door, we genuinely thought she was going to get more hand sanitizer by the entrance or something.. she walked out and that was the end of the exam. She didn't ask if we had questions, barely spoke to us at all...we were pretty shocked and it just felt like a completely inadequate exam for a newborn baby. Days later at our first newborn appointment, which we had with Dr. Sneha at 4:45PM that day, I received a call from the Michigan Ave office. They asked if I was available to come earlier, at 4PM instead. That wasn't a problem for us so we obliged. However, when we arrived, we were informed that we would be seeing NP Emily for our appt. We explained that we did not make an appt with an NP, we made one with a doctor. The girl went to the front desk to figure it out and returned saying "Dr. Sneha is busy right now, but if you would like to wait, she has availability at 4:45". I felt it inappropriate that the person who called to reschedule us didn't inform us it would be an appt with someone else, let alone someone who is not a doctor. I have nothing against any NP, but especially for our first ever newborn appt, I wanted to have it with a doctor. So, we felt that the office really gave us the run around. We ended up seeing the NP that day, and we had some health concerns about our baby in regards to her eating and sleeping (the past 24 hours she had been sleeping the entire time and we were having serious trouble waking her up to eat, so she hadn't been eating much and she hadn't had a wet diaper all day). The NP recommended we give her breastmilk and then formula because she needed some more nutrition, and tips on how to wake her up for a feed (ice cubes on feet, etc). We went home, continued to have trouble, and later on in the evening she started vomiting. At that point, we decided to take advantage of the "24/7 Doctor call availability". As new parents, we were extremely panicked at that point. Let me be clear that this advertised service is a complete falsehood... the person who answered the phone seemed to be some sort of 3rd party service. My husband began explaining her symptoms and requesting a doctor. The man on the phone literally CHUCKLED, and said "Okay, calm down... lets make a chart for you. What's your zip code?" He had zero care for us or any realization that we were in the middle of a medical emergency with our 5 day old baby. Eventually we were transferred to a random nurse (not doctor), who incredibly slowly asked us questions that didn't make sense and sounded like they were being listed off from a piece of paper (Has this been going on for the past 14 days? Obviously not, we have already stated our baby was born 5 days ago). Eventually she recommended we go to the ER (not before asking us to stay on the line so I could fill out a survey about whether or not we would have gone to the ER if we hadn't called. Needless to say she was hung up on). Long story short, our baby spent 2 days at Lurie's Children Hospital due to dehydration (she was not getting my breastmilk as it was still coming in, I am a new mom and didn't realize it, then her dehydration became severe and she began sleeping nonstop to conserve energy, which cause the additional 24 hours of not eating enough because we couldn't wake her up). After she was healthy and we were back home, we could not help but question Weissbluth and their care. We quite literally brought our baby to their office severely dehydrated without even knowing it, they examined her, and 6 hours later she was in the ER. Should they have realized there was something wrong with her at that appointment? I can't say that they definitely should have, but did they truly do everything they could? In my opinion, that answer is no, and they most likely should have recommended we go to the ER at that time. I give a second star because we did feel that Dr. Noga, who saw us twice was a good & thorough doctor we felt comfortable with. We also enjoyed the complimentary newborn zoom classes, & the free zoom meet and greet. But, at the end of the day, I have received far more thorough care at my own doctor and I know for a fact there is better care out there (esp at NWM) for my child. This office seems to be overrun. I can say with confidence that this office truly did not care for our baby or our family they way they should have. We have moved on to a new pediatrician. Edit: Quickly after this review posted we received communication from the office manager for an apology, so worth noting. Unfortunately, too little too late for us. read more

I am new to Weissbluth as I gave birth recently. Needless to say, it's been a tense and stressful time. I was incredibly nervous and worried to go to a doctor's office with my newborn. However, I have been very impressed with Weissbluth's precautionary measures regarding COVID-19. With so many unknowns regarding such a contagious and potentially fatal virus, I am pleased to see such a careful and deliberate approach. The practice seems to be taking no chances regarding COVID exposure, which is music to my ears. The office administrators even sanitized and disinfected my insurance and credit cards before handing them back to me. I have also loved the three providers I have seen - Dr. Weisbluth, Dr. Kaufmann, and Emily Santolin. All very warm and knowledgeable, and also sympathetic to the unique challenges and stresses of being a new parent during this time. read more

If you are looking for a nicely decorated office with an aquarium, you will be pleased. However, if you are looking for knowledgeable doctors to treat your children, I would seriously look for another practice. I had several issues with this practice. The most important one is that they misdiagnosed my then 3 month old UNCIRCUMCISED son with a UTI infection by collecting his urine sample win an adhesive bag and prescribed 10 days course of antibiotics. My son didn't have any symptoms of UTI to start with. We went to the office for a different issue, they took his urine just in case and told me e. Coli was found. I myself asked them multiple times that some bacteria on the skin is normal and if they are absolutely sure that he had an infection. They answer was alway yes. I blame myself for not listening to my mother gut feeling and giving him antibiotics. I decided to get a second opinion and took my son to see a pediatric urologist who confirmed that my son was absolutely healthy. The doctors should never collected his urine with an adhesive bag because he is uncircumcised and the bacteria on the skin is normal.. I was shocked how amature the doctors at this practice are. It should be a very basic thing to know how to collect urine sample. As a result of such neglect and malpractice my son suffered diarrhea, bad weight gain that month and fermenthopathy from the antibiotics. All of this when he was absolutely healthy! Some more issues with this practice: - one of the nurses told me I need to retract skin on my son penis to clean it. I couldn't believe she suggested it. I know that the skin should never be retracted! - when my son reached another milestone which is when he was pulling his legs to his stomach, I, as a first time mom wanted to make sure this is normal. The doctor on call urged me to run to ER suggesting he is having intussusception. I was super scared and texted my lactation consultant asking her opinion. My LC asked me a few follow up questions and asked if what my son is doing looks like a happy baby yoga pose which it was. She told me it's a normal milestone. If my LC could figure it out, then why not the doctor? - during our first visit when my son was almost 3 month old, I asked the doctor for her suggestions how to handle my sons flips to his stomach. I was mostly looking for some educational tips. I mentioned that we sleep together to which she replayed they don't suggest co sleeping. No tips, no educational points followed. I had a bunch of questions and hadn't finished asking when she interrupted me saying she already answered a lot of questions. I felt rushed and unimportant. -nurses don't really listen to what you want to say because they think they always know better. The only time the nurse seemed interested in what I was saying is when I mentioned I was getting second opinion about my sons UTI diagnosis. -I asked to provide me with all logs from my communication between doctors and nurses, they told me they don't have any logs. I used to work for a medical practice myself and I know for fact everything must be recorded. I believe they were afraid that I could use the logs against them. If they, indeed, don't have any logs, how would they follow the history of the issues, visits, illnesses, etc? -for a short time being with this practice I spent a lot of money outside of the insurance there when this practice should be the one refunding everything back for mistreating my child. It's the least they could do. Bottom line, the doctors at this practice are all young and inexperienced, they seem to follow protocols they memorized during their medical school rather than using their brains. At the best they should be interns but definitely not doctors. read more

Went in for my son's 18 month check up, after the initial weight in and measurements, we waited for 20-30 mins for the doctor to see my son. After the 5-10 minute exam, they asked if we wanted to do a flu shot, which I agreed. We again waited another another 20-30 minutes. I ended up leaving, deciding to go else where for a flu shot. When we first started coming to Weissbluth, they were much more attentive. Maybe it's because I came in on a Saturday or they were understaffed or both, but we've had to wait longer and longer after each visit. I'm highly considering switching pedestrians. For parents who value their time, I would suggest throughly interviewing pedestrians and maybe bring a stop watch. read more

I have been extremely happy with all of my care here. The doctors are friendly and great with my sons. My three year old doesn't mind going to the doctor and they make the entire visit as enjoyable as possible. They answer all of my questions and then provide further information. Waited to review until a few visits. What a wonderful practice full of wonderful people. My wife wrote exactly the same. We took our son for our 4-month check last night... continually a great experience. Not only do they offer Skype, and house calls, but the level of interaction and comfort they provide to new parents is superb. We come armed with questions, blank stares for things we do not know, and seeking advice for everything a new parent can come up with. We first met at a meet and greet before our son was born, very thorough and welcoming. Then, he came! A few different doctors visited us while at the hospital, including the very warm name-owner EARLY on a Sunday morning. We had a great experience. From the 3-day, to 1-month, to 2-month, to now 4-month we can't help but enjoy the level of service and bedside manner. We love this practice and its staff!  They've all been nothing but very professional and cordial every single time we've had to bring our kids for a visit. They are open 7 days a week, which is one of my favorite things about the practice. We have seen multiple doctor's for sick visits, and have been very happy. Our boys pediatrician is Dr. Tim, who is absolutely wonderful and really does all he can to make the kids feel comfortable. The boys love him and it shows. Just recently I took my son for his 18 month check up and he greeted Dr. Tim with the biggest bear hug! He is very patient and answers every question in the world and I never feel rushed. My son is 13 months and I have been bringing him to this practice since he was a newborn. We originally met with Dr. Asha, who I loved and felt was very personable. Thereafter, all of our visits were with Dr. Diana who we also really loved. When I called to schedule my son's 12 month visit I was notified that Dr. Diana was no longer with the practice so I just let them schedule me with whoever was available. At our appointment, I was surprised when they sent in a nurse practitioner to do the appointment. I do not mean to discredit a nurse but when I bring my son in for his one year check up it should have been with a Dr. Not a nurse. If it was a sick visit and you are fitting me in then I understand. At his one year appointment, my only question pertained to what is the best way to switch my son from formula to milk. I have used the babywise method of sleeping training because it teaches your kid to be able to go to sleep on his own without needing a bottle or to be rocked. Using this method, when the baby wakes up, you feed them and then they play. Once they start rubbing their eyes or getting fussy you know they are tired and you put them down for a nap while they are awake and then repeat...when they wake you feed them ect. The reason I am sharing this information is because my son is so used to ALWAYS getting a bottle of formula upon waking which is why I was wondering the best way to go about switching to milk. When they start drinking milk they don't drink 30 ounces of milk a day like my son did on formula. When I asked the nurse if she knew about the Babywise method, she was not aware and was very snotty in her response. To be very honest, I was initially perturbed that they sent in a nurse practitioner and secondly she wasn't familiar with a Babywise when over 3 million copies of the book have been sold. In my own personal opinion if you work with infants then you should at least know about it. So I was also rude and very annoyed so we decided that I would see an actual doctor. So in comes Dr. Dan, who I have never seen. He never let me finish my point of why babywise was important and he just talked about sleep training. I never once asked him about sleep training my son. My son had been sleep trained for the past 6 months. He told me that my son should be going to bed at 5 p.m. and if he goes to bed later than that then my son is over tired? My kid does not go to bed at 5 p.m. I would never see him. My kid take two 2-3 hour naps a day and sleeps 10-12 hours straight and he goes down to sleep in his crib awake with a smile on his face. NO JOKE. Once he told me I should be putting my kid to bed at 5 p.m. I knew it was time to switch peds. I simply wanted to know how to switch him to milk since he was so used to always getting a bottle upon waking. I am a first time mom and had never done this. He then proceeded to tell me 5 times that obviously my kid has never missed a meal and could tell that by looking at him. I am not exaggerating when I say he said it 5 times. He told me sleep and food are not related. Well in our schedule it is and had Dr. Dan listened to me instead of just talking non stop then he would have known that. None of my friends could get over it when I told them that they should be putting their 1 year old to bed at 5. The entire appointment was a complete waste of time and I left feeling fustrated and upset. All I can say is thank god for google. My son is down from 5 bottles to only 2 of milk and he still doesn't drink regular milk out of a sippy cup (it has to be flavored) but I am working on it. My son has been sick since that visit and we have come in and seen Dr. Laura and love her. However, she is pregnant and I don't know when she is due or how long she will be out so I just decided to find another pediatrician. I have a friend that have been going to Weissbluth and has had an issue as well. I know its a new practice so of course there are growing pains but I don't have time to deal with someone else's growing pains. My gyno warned me about this practice when he asked me who I chose for a Ped but I had already met Dr. Asha and felt good about my decision. I guess I had to learn for myself. I will also say that the wait times to be seen are HORRIBLE. My son was sick and they had us wait over an hour. Dr. Laura apologized but every time I go in the wait is longer and longer. I also do not like how they do not have a sick waiting room and a well waiting room. read more

I recently had a sleep consultation with Dr. Dan for my 5 month old daughter Hailey. Prior to implementing his advice, she was waking up multiple times each night. Dr. Dan provided me with an easy to follow plan to get her sleeping straight through the night with no waking. After following his advice, Hailey was sleeping straight through the night in 9 days! She now sleeps from 6 pm until 6:30 or 7 am every night! She's getting more sleep, and so am my husband and I. I had no idea that my 5 month old was even capable of sleeping through the night! I can't thank Dr. Dan enough for his amazing research based advice. Dr. Dan is also very personable and down to earth. I liked the office and the support staff. I like that he offers free consults for new patients. I like that there are Sunday hours. I like that he is open to alternative vax schedules. The doc showed up 30 minutes late to the apt and rushed through the exam. Upon describing recent sleep issues, he strongly advocated for the extinction method. When I told him I was unsure if I would be able to let my kid cry for hours at a time, he told me I should probably see a therapist. I refused this advice and shortly thereafter found another sleep consultant who promotes more gentle sleep training methods. I am happy to report my child is now sleeping through the night and I definitely did not have to lock her in a room overnight nor did she cry for more than 5 minutes at a time. He made it sound like there were no alternatives that work and that just isn't true! read more

On Monday 12/18/2017 I had my daughter's 2 year old wellness checkup, this was out first time at this facility. Weissbluth was a location that accepted my insurance, when making my appointment I requested Dr. Tim because I had read many great reviews about him. The facility was very welcoming and all the staff was very nice. Both Dr. Tim and the nurse were very helpful with our first visit and gladly helped me with the paper work for the daycare. I will definitely be back and I recommend Dr. Tim and this office to anyone looking for a pediatrician. read more

I love this practice. If you are looking for a pediatrician and especially first time parents, look no further. My husband and I are educated people, however when the baby arrived the smallest thing can/could send me into a tailspin of uncertainty. Often times it was "common sense" but we needed someone else to point it out to us. For example: if you overfeed your baby, they are going to puke... but as a first time Mom I was in a total state of panic. Dr. Weissbluth is one of the few doctors that I can say has a great bedside manner and is totally accessible. It's nice to be able to send a picture of what you are talking about rather then try to describe it ...and let the experts decide on if and when your child needs to be seen. If you text him or email him you are sure to get a response, and that is AWESOME. I wish all doctors would be that easy to reach. His staff is very welcoming and friendly, and I have nothing but praise for them. I really appreciate the way this practice operates and how easy it is to reach Dr. Weissbluth - he never makes you feel like any concern is unwarranted. Email the doctor in advance to get the names of the specific vaccines being administered. This is information that should be on Weissbluth's vaccine schedule- but as of January 2019 it was not! Also, do not let the nurse near your child without first making the nurse confirm your child's name, date of birth and verifying exactly which vaccines are to be given at that appointment. At my daughters 4 month appointment the nurse walked in the room and jabbed my daughter with 3 syringes before answering my question, "wait why are there 3 syringes there should only be 2?". It still makes me sick thinking of what happened. The nurse gave my daughter the 3rd Hep B vaccine at her 4 month appointment BY ACCIDENT. This shot is on Weissbluth's schedule to be given at the baby's 6th month appointment not her 4 month appointment! The CDC and AAP recommend it be given between the 6th and 9th months. read more

Dr. Dan is awesome with kids AND with parents. We have 3 kids who don't fear going to the doctor because he's so calm and reassuring. Dr. Dan talks to the kids, not at them or about them. He brings them into their own healthcare. Fantastic office hours, "can you say 7 days a week!?", and parking inside the building which makes it nice during these gross Chicago Winters. His staff is also great and answer the phones personally and direct you to a nurse or answer any quick questions. read more

Every time I walk in this office, I wish I was a kid again! In the past I never felt truly satisfied with my pediatrician or their staff. Finally the search is over. My children always look forward to going, even if it is for their 4 month old baby sister. Also everything is accessible through their website which makes it easier to schedule appointments and information about child's visit. I must say it will be a sad day when the children grow up and won't need a pediatrician anymore. Till then I'll enjoy every visit with them as well. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I work with children and I think just about every student I have goes to this pediatric office. All of the doctors are so nice, professional... and wonderful with kids. I have really enjoyed getting to know them. Possibly the best news I heard is they are opening a second office in the South Loop very soon. Which is fantastic for all my families. Even though this is in the heart of the city, it can be a little harder to get to. And obviously parking is never fun. So I am so excited that they are expanding their offices. read more
