I (barely) walked in for my first appointment extremely unsure of the road ahead of me, and Rachel proved to be a very integral part in my return to activity. She was always happy to provide her professional guidance any time I had any questions or concerns and was always very attentive to any feedback I would provide prior to each session. She would regularly take any feedback and incorporate it into my sessions which really helped zero in on any issues I had along the way as a result of my injury. Over the duration of five and a half months, her personalized program, which was very specific to my needs, helped me go from being locked in a full leg brace with very limited range of motion, regain strength and balance, transition into plyometrics, and prepare me to meet my goal of returning to my lifelong passions of cycling and snowboarding. I always looked forward to my sessions in the fun and encouraging environment and learned so much that I would have never figured out otherwise. I will always recommend West Town Physical Therapy to anyone.

I went for the Thai Massage with Rawiwan. The massage room is inside the chiropractor's office, which is inside a building with other offices. It is quite sizable. the office has very good vibes, with lots of inspirational quotes, friendly pictures, and clean atmosphere. They also sell some raw honey that Dr. Paul apparently makes (is that the term? harvest?) himself. Love me some local honey! I got a jar and am glad I did. I'll be getting another jar soon. Anyway, on to the massage. The 1-hour massage lasted the full one hour (and then some). She uses hot stones, hot towels, and I'm not sure how she does it, but she doesn't reach out to get oil but somehow has it coming out as she's working on you with both hands! Like Spiderman or something. It was really cool. A really, very good massage. Talk to her and let her know if you need her to adjust strength and she gets on it right away. I'd be coming here regularly if I lived a little closer.

I met Shivani & Manisha after I had shoulder surgery and went in very skeptical. I definitely thought I would not be able to use my shoulder for a long time and even then be restricted. They are flexible with scheduling. And they got me back to my pre shoulder surgery strength. I certainly had my doubts, but they are the real deal. I am a veteran of PT rehab stints having had two hip replacements, two rotator cuff surgeries, and one hip labrum tear surgery over the past 25+ years. I believe I know a thing or two about effective PT therapy. Not to take anything away from Athletico, who treated all of my above issues, the Elevate PT team is a significant cut above the typical PT practice. What stands them apart is their deep attentiveness to proper form and function, plus utilizing a frequent change of protocol to both challenge me and keep me motivated. Shivani's goal is not to just get me back to some sort of "status quo", but to make lasting improvements that leaves me better off than before my arrival at her practice. She also taught me many things that I could incorporate on my own to better manage my lower back issues, and those have proven to be quite useful. She pointed out and fixed things wrong with my gait and posture that no one had ever pointed out to me before. Her knowledge and ability to present it in non medical terms is really terrific. All the while doing this with an incredibly friendly and fun demeanor. After all was said and done, I was so impressed with Elevate's practice that I sent my wife there who unfortunately fractured her femur (surgery, rods and screws...the whole works) shortly after I completed my stint. She is working with both Shivani and Maneesha and is thrilled with the treatment she is receiving. What better recommendation could there be than sending a family member?

Perhaps once a year or so, one of my leg muscles or somewhere in my knee joint would flare up during training and slow my running nearly to a halt. The experience was always incredibly demoralizing. And perhaps more demoralizing was the fact that repeated bouts of physical therapy didn't seem to prevent the issue from occurring in the future. It always felt like something was missing, so I searched around for an expert that could help me piece it together. I sat down with Jason for my initial evaluation, prepared for another month long routine of stretching and glute strengthening exercises. But even within the first half hour of meeting me, Jason was already subverting my expectations. He effortlessly identified a lack of hip mobility and tight quads -- the ultimate "etiology" of the knee pain as he called it. He sent me off with some hip mobilization exercises, and when I came back soon after he offered to dry needle my quads. The difference these two changes made were night-and-day. The nightmare of another month of PT had vanished in an instant, and I was back to running nearly pain-free. And what's more so is that the results have lasted. A few short weeks in Jason's care, and I've been back to the running grind nearly flawlessly for months on end now. Jason is truly different than other PTs I've worked with in the past. He clearly has a remarkable level of experience and a principled approach to rehabilitation that yields sustained results. I am incredibly happy I chose Jason for my PT and would highly recommend him to other runners.
