I would and will continue to follow him any where because he is the only physician who has treated me with dignity and respect through some of the most challenging moments regarding my health. He worked tirelessly to find me the help I needed outside of his specialty by consulting other physicians to make sure he found someone who could actually help me when other doctors were turning me away. He never once gave up on me or finding a solution. Even better, he never let me give up when I wanted to most. He relentlessly advocated for me to put myself and my heath first. He believed in me even when test results came back conflicting. He never stoped ordering tests or exploring alternative options. In the end, I ended up at Mayo Clinic which he supported by providing the physicians I saw there with any and all information they needed regarding my medical history and making himself readily available to them during my time there. He also supported me through the passing of my husband, who he also treated and tried to help with his struggles. His compassion and genuine caring nature knows no bounds and he will always take his time and truly listen to you rather than rushing in, then rushing out before you can even say a word. Dr. Garg is not only an amazing physician, he's also a stellar human being who understands that overall health and wellness goes beyond just taking medication. He provides alternative treatment options, including diet changes, meditation practices and fitness while still offering traditional western treatments. I cannot put into words how truly blessed I feel that I was lucky enough to have a friend who recommended Dr. Garg all the way back in 2006. The staff has always been cordial and accommodating. They do their best to get you in when needed but patients need to be flexible as well. For example, someone needs an appointment ASAP but when given the option of the next day they say 'no that won't work". I hear that all the time! and then the patient gets mad about no appointment options! It does stink that the doctors rotate every few years. But the new residents are always energetic and happy to help you. This is a good medical practice, much better managed then others. Keep up the good work HFMC doctors, nurses and staff!
