This is the first year it is at this location. Previously, the fall festival has been in dripping Springs. I had specifically gone last year to the bubble extravaganza, this year we hit up the western days. Personally, the western days were nothing special. I would make sure to book on the bubble extravaganza, next year, as it was awesome. In general they have lots of activities for the kids that are free with the entrance fee. There is a lot of extras you can spend on very quickly as well. So my advice is if you want to have a set limit to spend, plan before you go or else this could really hurt your piggy bank. For instance, camel ride, petting zoo, face, painting, balloon, art are all an additional fee. They also have multiple vendors that are selling miscellaneous items from jewelry to shirts and many other items. They had a decent amount of shade. There is no paved pathways so people with disabilities. Need to be aware that there is Rocky Sandy ground most of the places. It's not a bad event overall. read more
