Service, ambiance, and food quality were great! Feels like a great mom and pop shop. Definitely a hidden gem. Would come here again

What an adorable place. This used to be Toom Toom Thai, glad another amazong place replaced it. Lots of cute decor. The food was really good and really good flavor. Lovely drinks. Amazing service. They do not offere an alcoholic beverages. FYI.

This restaurant was pretty good. They seem to mix Japanese, Thai, and Korean flavors which is very unique. The tonkotsu broth was good but I found it weak. I liked all the topping they added to. It makes the Udon taste better. This place is good if you're craving some unique Asian flavors. I probably would come back if I'm craving Udon again!

Chicken legs app and Tom yum soup added shrimp

We tried this local place on a Friday evening. We were the only diners for a while. We tried many items. The Tom yum soup I added shrimp to and dialed down the spice to 3/5 instead of 4:5. It was delicious!! It is my new favorite location to order Tom yum soup. The cucumbers and pork gyoza were both very good. The chicken legs appetizer were crispy but I wanted some sirracha/spice on them. Our udon plates were also very good. We had Mongolian beef, and Hawaiian shrimp. I look forward to trying something new. Staff was friendly and promp. Bathroom clean. Prices are fair. I will return.

Tom Yum w/ udon noodles, stir fried veggies and tofu. (it was yum)

Let me just say, the tom yum broth, texture of the udon noodles, and amount of veggies gave was wonderful. And some staff were trying to be kind. It's just really unfortunate our waitress forgot about us during the "Nightmare on Chicago Street" event where we waited an hour until I finally asked and they said it was never put in... First they offered a dessert, but with this event going on we didn't want to waste any more time (we spent 2 hours which could've been soooo much shorter.) MULTIPLE PEOPLE ARRIVED, ATE, THEN LEFT. Instead as compensation, they offered 15% off which I feel isn't much at all. Considering we missed a lot of the 6-11 event going on :/ It would be different if we didn't spend 40$ to enjoy a fun festival and were short on time. So it Just really sucks.

Service and food was okay, but the prices are way too high for their quality. 6 bucks for small appetizers and 18 bucks for a bowl is crazy

It's pretty much a self-serve food-court-like operation here except the setting is that of a comfortable regular sit-down restaurant.  He had complimentary self-serve iced tea for the customers.  He also had nice, contemporary American pop music on.  We were there with one other patron family, and had a short wait for the food prep, but I did wonder how Mr. Kim might keep up if a crowd hit, but he's managed this well-rated place for 10 years, so he must have a way! Overall, I'll go with 4.49 stars rounded down to 4 for our pleasant outing, mainly as the content of the servings were more like 4 star values but served in a nice and calm sit-down restaurant setting.  Thanks, and continued good luck Mr. Kim!

Even if you're not familiar with Korean food, they have pictures of all the entrees coinciding with a number and spelled out in English so it's very easy. We ordered the Beef Stew with glass noodles #10 & Sweet & Sour Sizzling Chicken #6. They both came with a couple delicious bon chon (side dishes) as well as a nice dish of rice and my chicken even had a little bowl of soup! The service was very friendly and the food was made to order and it's fresh. They also provide free buckwheat tea which is really nice in cold months and iced tea in summer. Both entrees were very good and served steaming hot. The stew was in a bowl that kept it hot while eating. The sizzling chicken came out on a heated platter with the sauce on the side to drizzle. Portions are plentiful, authentic and delicious. This is a very nice place to relax and enjoy a meal as it's pretty quiet inside.

My first Yelp Review of 2026!…read more Kicking off the year with Kai Mom's K Food To Go -- and I'm so glad I finally tried it after seeing all the buzz. They have quite an extensive menu offering both Korean & Chinese entrees. It was tough deciding what to choose but we ended up ordered the Jjampong + Jjajangmyeon combo, Pork & Stir-Fried Squid, Galbitang, and Soy Garlic Fried Chicken (Bone-in). Out of everything, the Jjajangmyeon was the clear standout. The flavor was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. Absolute comfort food. The Jjampong didn't quite hit for me -- it wasn't bad, but it felt a little bland and lacked the umami I usually look for. I've had better elsewhere, so I'd probably skip that next time. Similarly the Pork & Squid stir fry just didn't pack the right punch for me so I would pass too. Other highlights were definitely the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and Galbitang. The chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside -- a must-order. The Galbitang was comforting and hearty, with about four bones in the soup, super tender meat, and a clean, soothing broth. The space itself is small with only four tables, and we lucked out getting one. It has such a cozy, homey feel -- like you're sitting in her kitchen while she cooks you a homemade Korean meal. Service was excellent too; they checked in often and kept our drinks refilled. Overall, a great start to my 2026 food reviews. I'll definitely be back -- especially for that Jjajangmyeon and Soy Garlic Fried Chicken. I can't wait to try more of their dishes.

Time for an updated review, as I've since started eating meat again!…read more My sister and I popped into Pho 95 to satiate a pho craving on a crisp mid-December day, and it did not disappoint! There was just one waitstaff member that was taking care of all the folks that were dining (there were about 6-7 parties, including us) so it took a few minutes to put our order in, since he was busy taking other orders and bring out entrees to other diners. With that being said, if you're looking for a "supremely quick service" kind of spot, this might not be your go-to. After those few minutes had past, we'd put in our order for the crispy egg rolls, spring rolls, the grilled pork banh mi, and two orders of pho: the Pho 95 Special for me and the Steak & Fatty Brisket pho for my sister. We waited a handful of minutes for our apps and our pho (this was quick!) then we got to digging in. The egg rolls had a perfect CRISP exterior and a flavorful interior. The spring rolls were delightful and fresh (however, I prefer them without the thin sheets of pork), and our pho - after dressing it up with the accoutrements) was hot and delicious! Honestly, the Pho 95 Special wasn't for me, as I realized that I'm not attuned to or prefer the tendon or tripe. The rest of the meats were delicious though and I'll definitely order the Steak & Fatty Brisket Pho - since my sister loved it! I also didn't favor the pork banh mi. I just couldn't get behind the smokey flavor and didn't enjoy the seasoning. Perhaps pork just isn't my kind of protein. I will add, my sister did enjoy the banh mi, so it's certainly subjective! I'd be curious to try their other banh mi's in the future. Overall, Pho 95 was a great spot to visit and I recommend it to all locals in the area looking to satisfy their pho cravings!

I always think that the front of the house reflects in the back, so I would assume they take equal care of sanitation in the kitchen. I orderrrd #16, the special pho dish. I was surprised the bowl had almost more sliced beef and other protein as noodles. After 1 o'clock other customer, 4 tables came in. They were all greeted and served as promptly as I was. She avoided all any eye contact with me, she did not want to engage in any small talk and she was there to receive a pay check and that was that. Ok fine, I get it we all have bad days, just get me my food then. I ask her "how spicy is the spicy check wings?" So goes, "they are alright spicy." When I walked up to get my wings I noticed there was some mochinut and I had to get some! I get three flavors, strawberry, taro, and green tea and then I head home to sample the food with my family. First up were the wings, they were scary looking but in a spicy kind of way. Was my stomach and whatever after comes after ready for these wings? I sure hope so! So I went in for my first bite and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were super good! The flavoring and everything was fire, flame, hit the spot good. And the spice level was 'alright' (see what I did there?), it had a kick but nothing that my kids couldn't handle. My wife enjoyed the wings as well and she said they were good. I'm glad I stopped by and got the fried chicken wings to try because they were amazingly delicious and I'll be back for more. I finished off my lunch and tried some mochinut and they were good as well and you don't have any complaints from me on the food.
