There are several facilities available including pavilions, grills, disc golf volleyball, playgrounds, swimming, fishing, and even a drone course. There's a bike path, a nature path and a small animal farm where you can see a turkey, chickens, and maybe a variety of other animals. There are cabins (assuming for rent) and a spot for small RVs and trailers. The park includes several restrooms which are very clean. The disc golf course is extensive and likely a bit difficult as it meanders through several wooded areas and even one hole across the water. The park has several pavilions varying in size. Most have parking nearby, however several will require you to hoof your goods a little distance. This is a great place for a family or larger gathering. Two dollar entry fee. Dogs allowed on leash and there are several pet sanitary stations.

There is ample parking throughout, and plenty of shade structures for the ever present sunny days. We came for the playground which boasts an aerial walkway, and numerous slides with steep angles that are sure to thrill your little ones. While the playground is older, the equipment is by one of the top manufactures of playgrounds in the country. All safety surfaces are new, and the nearby water fountain worked. My kids had a blast and made new friends. We will definitely be coming back to try family activities like fishing and boat rentals.

This park has 2 courses, both courses have 18 holes and 2 baskets per hole. The Alpha course is the more popular course it has long and short tee as well as 2 basket placements. There are benches, shelters and tables and they recently installed rest rooms and a water filling station. Oh yeah, plenty of trash cans over the course so please don't litter. It was very informational and neat to see a little piece of history. Once we were done there we got on the Bridge walkway. We did not realize how long the Park Trail was, which is 17 miles! We decided we are going to rent some bikes when it gets a little warmer and try our hand at finishing the path. However, we did walk some of it though, and it was beautiful. I was actually trying to find a different park near the airport when I accidently stumbled on the…read morethis oasis of nature. Airport Lakes Park was developed with the help of a Florida Communities Trust grant. The proximity of the park to the Orlando Airport means you will see a lot of planes flying overhead. The Orlando Airport was once a part of Pinecastle Air Force Base during WWII so I imagine this park was too. This park is a welcome recreational amenity for both locals and the travelers passing through the area. Airport Lake Park exceeded what I was expecting. Near the parking area are restrooms and a playground. The real gem of the park is the back area where there is a nature trail and disc golf course that was being used by several groups of people during my visit. Unfortunately the nature boardwalk that takes you out to Lake Warren was closed due to storm damage. This would have been a really nice feature so I hope they plan to repair it. The park also has a lighted athletic field and soccer field and picnic pavilions with grills. I had a pleasant walk around the nature area. There are several hotels nearby so this would be a great spot to get exercise or take the kids to play. The disc golf course is already very popular with locals.

There are trails through the park, some paved and others dirt paths. The boardwalk out to view the lake was unfortunately closed due to storm damage. That was a disappointment. Lots of parking is available. Bathrooms are available here as well. I didn't need to use them so no idea how well they are cleaned or maintained. A nice park near some of the Orlando airport hotels.

This park is pretty large with ample free parking and lots of walking paths. They are known for their 18-hole disc golf courses and my husband has enjoyed playing here on several occasions. They also have paintball, a skate park, BMX tracks, a dog park, indoor gym with a fitness center, basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, and even a lakefront boat ramp with fishing access. So, we decided to go to this park as a family to hike. We spent 20 minutes looking for the trails,…read morebut we still couldn't find them. We even called the main office, but she said she couldn't contact the supervisor. So even she didn't know where the trails were. I do not recommend this place at all. Do not go here. The only thing you should come here for is frisbee golf, not hiking. Also, if you sit in the pavilion at the end of the road, you will be surrounded by squirrels. I attached some photos of the squirrels. My grandmother is terrified of squirrels. My sister says this park is stupid and that it sucks. I can't believe we even came here. Never go here. THIS PLACE US HORRIBLE, AND ITS A TRAP!!!
