We started off with a few jet ski instructions and intermittent slow speed while going under the bridges, but once we hit the open lake, we were off on our own to ride at full speed. I had never drove a jet ski before, but after a few minutes of feeling out the ski, I was a pro. The Jet ski had a big compartment to put in your belongings (shoes, clothes and small purse) and a small water proof compartment to place your phone in. DEFINITELY would give my business to Move Aside Jet Ski Rentals again. Side note, after your ride, you can relax on the lake and swim, and grab a bite to eat. It's a good day experience.

At $50, I knew I wasn't showing up expecting championship conditions, especially considering the course was closed for a few years and has been working its way back. I went in with realistic expectations, and honestly, I walked away impressed. Let's get the obvious out of the way--the course still has work to do. If you're expecting pristine country club conditions, this isn't that. But for $50? I thought it was absolutely worth it. I played from the white tees, which ended up being the perfect choice. I don't get out to play as often as I'd like, and while the orange or blue tees would have added another layer of difficulty, the whites still provided plenty of challenge. I finished with an 87, and I had to earn every stroke. This isn't an easy golf course. The fairways are long, there are elevation changes you don't expect in Central Florida, the greens are on the smaller side, and water seems to be lurking on just about every hole. It's a layout that rewards good course management and quickly exposes any weakness in your short game--which mine certainly reminded me of today. One of the highlights was the people. I was paired with a gentleman around my age, and we had a fantastic round together. The pace of play couldn't have been better with a group of three older gentlemen in front of us who kept things moving all morning. It made for a really enjoyable experience from the first tee to the final putt. My only real complaint was the bunkers. The sand had become so compact that they were essentially concrete, and everyone in our group agreed to simply move our ball out of them. Hopefully that's an area the course can address as they continue their improvements. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my morning at Stoneybrook West. The layout is fun, challenging, and memorable, and it's easy to see why this course was so well regarded years ago. It's encouraging to see the effort being put into bringing it back, and I think they're heading in the right direction. If you're looking for an affordable round with a challenging design and you're willing to overlook a few rough edges while the course continues its comeback, I'd absolutely recommend giving Stoneybrook West a shot. I'll definitely be back--and hopefully next time my short game will be ready to shave a few strokes off that 87. Thank you, Stoneybrook West, for a great morning of golf. I appreciate the hard work that's going into restoring the course, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues to improve.

We picked up the trail at the Killarney Station and rode through to Minneola Trailhead Park. The views are beautiful and we appreciated all of the areas with trees that helped keep the heat bearable in the afternoon. There are a lot of sections that intersect with the roadway so you have to stay alert and possibly not have very young children lead the way. There were lots of people on the trail when we visited and everyone seemed to be mindful of each other.

Of course, minutes after getting there the sky opened up and the rain fell on a torrential downpour as I began a pleasant stroll through a wooded area. As i write this (or i guess type this) i am under a gazebo as the rain falls in a somehow righteous indignation. For my few minutes here, so far seems very nice. There are a couple of guys out in boats fishing. I am sure they're about as loving just as much as I am. There's a nice play area for children, as well as a volleyball pit. A restroom and water fountains just add to the overall positive experience. Oh, and we cannot forget about this much-needed gazebo. While it is not huge, it is on a nice piece of property and I am sure it serves this neighborhood very well. This is the kind of park that will live with you and your memories for the rest of your life

Prairie Lake Park is very peaceful and enjoyable. It has a children's playground, pavilions…read more,walking path, picnic areas, bathrooms, volleyball, basketball and fishing. It is a clean and well maintained park. You can rent the pavilion for private gatherings and parties. All day rental is $75.00 and half day is $50.00. The park hours are 8am to sunset. The playground is fenced in. This especially convenient since it is next to Prairie Lake. There are big beautiful shade trees surrounding the playground. The playground has play equipment for child from 3 years to 12 years old. There are lots of fun things to do for the entire family.

Begging you to read reviews, or one of the many many Running Disney books or blogs before you go…read more.. most people who complained had zero idea what to expect because they were unprepared. There are 25,000 people, mostly WALKERS, then joggers and very few actual runners coming to this and Disney has to organize them in a way that makes it possible for all to visit characters, get photos and experience the parks before they open. Stroll through this... my husband actually wore slip on shoes to the 5K.. take your photos and take in the park in the pre-dawn hours. I was in the very last corral so didn't start the race until 6:30am.. those at the back of my corral, probably closer to 7am. (You arrive here by 4:30 so it's a long wait) It really is amazing to enter Epcot early morn and soak it all in... dress up as your favorite character for the 5K, (it's harder to do if you're running the half marathon and still be comfortable), and greet the countries along your way.. they are out there to cheer you on! (Except japan? Who sent one tiny quiet person for both the 5K and 10k??). We were back at the Beach Club resort by 7:30 with our medals and my teenager was still asleep, lol If you're doing all three race days, make sure and stroll this one because the big one is worth every mile and you don't want to be on tired legs.

The start and finish lines are located at the Epcot parking lot. When you first get there, you can go to the finish line area and check your gear bag if you have stuff to check. They encourage you not to check anything unless you absolutely need to since there will be security check for all bags. Then you can head to the starting corrals. They then release the corrals one at a time starting with corral A. The course itself was pretty much a loop of the parking lot and a loop around Epcot. It was a fun course. Nice and fast!
