I purchased a Hyundai Palisade from KEY HYUNDAI. THEY provide an UBER to/from your home or where you'd like to go while your car is being serviced. First of all - what a great convenience. On Saturday, my UBER driver was Vanessa, and today the driver was David. BOTH people were SO nice. Very polite, patient, and considerate as to temperature, radio volume, etc. Each ride went without a problem. I was picked up within just a few minutes after Key placed the order, and exactly as predicted on the UBER texts. I am new to UBER, so I was really impressed. read more

I normally have very good experiences with Uber, I use them daily to and from work! Today I order a Uber like normal, coming from work! The driver Daniel that was supposed to pick me up, said I wasn't worth his drive that was only 8 min from said destination! Because he had a new car and evidently, I was to dirty to ride in his car!he had feet mate and cover over his seats! I truly felt disrespected and bit my tongue, because it was no need to argue, it's his car so, I had to wait another 20 min for a Uber read more

I will never use Uber or Uber eats again! I was released from the hospital and had to take an uber the guy had an electric car and couldn't make it to my home so he asked me to get someone else then tried to charge me for a ride. I ordered food today, there was a special on drinks but one get one free and I was charge $25 for drinks then told by Keifer (fake name) that I was given the discount although I provide my receipt and shown them I didn't. No way to call no way to get a resolution. Pure fraud!!!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered a ride to pick us up from the Airport in Jacksonville and take us to our home in Ponte Vedra, due to the fact that parking at the Airport is very limited right now. We landed on time and then notified the car that we had arrived. Of note is the fact that there is a specific pick up area on the arrivals section for services like Uber to pick up their fares. Also, we are senior citizens carrying very heavy bags. The pick up line moves quite quickly. My wife was keeping track of our Uber on her phone. She was notified that the car, a Volkswagen Taos, would arrive in 9 minutes. At about the 15 minute mark, her phone showed that the car was 650 feet away. We waited and waited but no car. Then, my wife texted the driver to find out where she was. She was sitting in the waiting line way, way back from the pick up area. She then told us to walk back and find her in the line. My wife said that we were absolutely NOT going to walk back and find her. We were standing in the correct pick up area. It was her job to drive down and pick us up. We stood there patiently, and finally this white Taos came down to where we were, rolled down the back window and started to scream my wife's name, never even got out of her car to get our suitcases. My wife , hearing and seeing this ridiculous behavior, walked over and told her to forget it. In addition to being nasty, this woman had a magnetic sign on the side of the car, and when my wife asked her what it was, she said"that's my business." The name of the business was Hygiene Anonymous. We don't know what she was doing. Was she picking us up in between jobs? And what does that business have to do with Uber? We ended up getting a different service to take us home, ZTrip which was more expensive, but was sitting there and we both agreed that the driver was careful and very friendly. This is not to say we will not ever use Uber again, but this was a very bad experience. read more

They are awful I feel a class action suit coming due to ALL OF THE OVER CHARGING!!! They always add 5$ for themselves even IF THEY don't have a 5 min. Wait time. I'm starting to video record every ride to prove they are lying and adding money for themselves that I do not authorize. There's about 200+ of us who is/has started a page for everyone to go to, to detail all the thievery they ALLOW their drivers to do. We work hard for our money and are sick of it being stolen after 9 hrs of that pg going live there are over 200+ theft by charging unauthorized acts! ANY lawyer would see how lucrative that case would be. read more

Worst company ever. No customer service at all. I ordered food it was delivered to a different location than mine and I was charged. I requested a refund and was told my issue was resolved through the help button. So I had to pay $20 for food I never received. This is by far the worst company and worst customer service. I will never use this company again. read more

The drivers try so hard, but they are just miserable. The management of this company is the worst. The drivers get zero support and customer service is non existent, despite the drivers' best efforts. Please avoid this company at all costs if you want anything remotely resembling a positive experience. The drivers would be better off begging for money at the side of the street than working their behinds off for a company that could care less about them or their customers. read more

Uber from St. Augustine to JAX airport (in Jacksonville, about 55 miles) worked extremely well for us. There are other transport services available but we are familiar and comfortable with using Uber. I liked knowing the exact cost before we booked our ride to the airport. read more

You can not leave zero stars but they deserve a NEGATIVE 5 stars. There is no accountability for Uber delivery drivers. They will deliver SOMETHING SOMEWHERE but not necessarily what you order or to your house. This has been a continued issue on EVERY order I have made for 2 years. They will credit three (3) times before telling you not eligible for refund ( you've been classified as scammer). EVEN IF YOU HAVE PHOTO PROOF. Drivers are lazy and deceitful and nobody holds them to account. I have since opted for Lyft and GrubHub and had much much better service. read more

You charges me 30 dollars to go 2 miles?...are you insane?...this is the biggest scam bullshit I ever saw...literally charged my wife's card 30 bucks to go 2 miles........what a major rip off read more

I rarely use uber because I have a car. I only need it when traveling. Since the last time I used it I got a new phone... same number.. and payed off a credit card because I had too many. When I tried to load the app it wouldn't let me because that credit card wasn't active. I have other cards but there was no way to add it. Since I knew my password, email etc it doesn't make since to lock a person out forever over a credit card number. Guess I'm forced to try Lyft, something I never would have done. I don't switch anything unless extremely unsatisfied. I'm giving a medium score because the drivers are usually good but cars often smell like they're trying to hide smoke. read more

This is to Uber Eats!! 91 minutes to get our food after paying the $2.99 to get it within 30 minutes. Trying to get in touch with customer service is an absolute joke. Finally, after hearing Allie Cat rave about Uber for well over a year, I got the chance to experience it first-hand! Granted, it was because hubby was at work and I got a bit too tipsy (oh, who am I kidding? I was downright drunk) at the little birthday soiree my friends had for me, and Allie absolutely refused to let me drive. BTW: Thank you, Als, for knowing I was way too drunk to drive even though I kept insisting I was fine. *insert thumbs up emoji and heart emoji here* It was all so easy-peesy too. She punched into her Uber app that one was needed and I swear someone was there in like 5 minutes or less. I was drunk, so I may be off on the time; however, I'm positive it didn't take very long. Honestly, I hadn't used Uber before because I was paranoid the driver might be some weird serial killer or rapist. In hindsight, that was a pretty stupid theory because a regular 'ole taxi driver could be a serial killer or rapist too. No matter how you spin it, you're still getting in the car with someone you don't know whether it's an Uber driver or a taxi driver. I'm digressing.... So the guy shows up promptly in a van. I climb into the front seat, buckle myself in, and prepare for the ride. The Uber guy was super nice and was really easy to talk to. The drive was really a pleasant one and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. It was a really great experience, and now, in the future, I won't hesitate to use Uber again. Hubby and I have always made a point to either make him and me the designated driver when we go out. Now that I feel comfortable using Uber, if we have events come up in the future where we both may possible get plastered, I'll just call an Uber to pick us up at home and then bring us back at the end of the night. As a matter of fact, there's a very special event coming up in just 10 days. =) read more

How pleasantly surprised I am with UBER! I was stuck at a hotel in Jacksonville, FL while my wife attended a conference there. I was feeling a bit stir crazy and wanted to get out. But, remembering the lousy taxi ride from the airport the night before discouraged me. Our driver was unpleasant, unfriendly and barely said a word to us, plus he charged $45 for a less than twenty minute ride! I remembered hearing about UBER through a friend and decided it wouldn't hurt to look into it. I was a bit nervous and, I won't lie, safety concerns definitely crossed my mind. But, I downloaded the app anyway, snapped a pic of my credit card, and I was in! Pretty simple. Then I tapped on, "order a driver " and could not believe how quickly one showed up--4mins tops!! As he was on his way, I tracked his location and was also able to see his name and star rating. He pulled up in front of the hotel and was so kind, courteous and helpful. I had such a great time talking up him that I forgot he was providing a service, we felt like old friends! I enjoyed the fact that once I reached my destination I could just jump out, no worrying about cash or being held up while the driver swiped my card. It was awesome! After a few hours of shopping and having lunch, it was time to call another UBER to take me back to the hotel. This time she came in two minutes! Apparently she had just finished having lunch at the Town Center shopping plaza herself when she got my request. Like the first driver, she was pleasant and fun to talk to. Also like the first driver, her car was clean and comfy. I was so impressed with my experiences that I used UBER five more times in that short trip alone. It wAs so much more convenient and both time and cost-efficient! And the cherry on top? By inviting my wife to sign up for UBER using my code, we both got free rides which we used immediately! I used mine for our ride back to the airport and instead of the $45 I spent on a cab originally, the fare came to $18, but I got it completely FREE!! read more

So far, I've used Uber twice and had excellent experiences. The first time, our friends called to have us picked up from their house because we didn't want to chance driving home. Then the next afternoon, we went to pick up our car from our friends' house. So easy to use and much cheaper (& faster) than taking a cab, risking our lives or getting arrested. Our rides were about $5 each and anyone can conveniently pay via Paypal using the Uber app. The drivers we had were professional, non-judgemental and down-to-earth. I was with my boy and we both felt very safe using Uber. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Easy. read more

In the past I have had great experiences with Uber. However, my last experience was so bad I have to yelp. I needed a ride home from the hospital. I was in downtown Jacksonville. I was picked up 15 minutes after I contacted Uber. After we started going the driver rolled down all the windows and told me his air conditioner was broken. It was around 85° outside. When we got on the freeway there was A complete standstill. We were on the freeway for around 40 minutes with the windows open smelling exhaust. Remember, I just got out the hospital. After 40 minutes I asked him to get off the freeway and head toward a restaurant that I was comfortable with. I called my husband and I asked him to meet us at that restaurant and come pick me up. It was way too hot to stay in that car. There's a reason my husband couldn't come get me himself but that's beside the point. He dropped what he was doing and came to pick me up. I appreciate that I wasn't charged the full fare. But, he didn't go the whole way. This seems unacceptable to me. I hope they get their act together again. It used to be such a great alternative. read more

they just charged my mother $19 one way and $21 on return for a trip that is exactly 1.75 miles each way. They did not even give her 10 minutes at our house to make sure that our dog did her business, after not answering her calls all day, telling her it was basically her last chance to go back home. She was told upon entering the car that "charges are higher than normal tonight ". What they just did to my 80 year old mother is price gouging at an obscene level. Shame. Shame. Shame. read more

So I travel for a living and have come to depend on Uber for transportation in a strange city. What's not to like? I can request a ride via an app and see the time when they will arrive. Also, I know the drivers name and what kind of car they are driving. Once I get into the car I notice the car is very clean and the driver speaks English! Usually the driver is interesting and I often have a very enjoyable conversation. For example, while in Jacksonville, FL recently, the driver was telling me that the changes to the climate were because of the Three Gorges Dam. This was because the size and weight of the dam and water changed the Earth's rotation! Say what? So I looked it up. In fact the rotation changed very, very little! Damn, correct. Did it change the climate? Doubtful. read more

I LOVE Uber! I am so happy that Jacksonville has this service available, and since it's been here, we have used several times. Uber is a super convenient way to get out on the town, have a few drinks, and leave all the worry about parking or driving after a few too many behind. Every single driver we've had has been very friendly. We just pull up the app, and it will tell us instantly when our ride will be here to pick us up. Cheaper, friendlier and cleaner than ANY cab in this city, without a doubt. Keep an eye on your email, as Uber is really good about sending promo codes and discounts. The only reason I rated as 4 stars, is most of the drivers have no clue about driving downtown or Riverside, so I always have GPS pulled up on my phone telling them where to go... but I have a feeling that will change as drivers become a little more experienced here. Not the biggest deal, really. I'll never hop in a cab again, unless there are no Uber drivers available and I'm stranded somewhere. Seriously, you have to check them out.... I'm telling ALL of my friends about Uber, and you should too. read more

Can't rely on Uber in the Jacksonville area. Even if you schedule a ride and pay an extra premium for it they may show up 30 minutes late or not at all! If you order one spontaneously be prepared to wait 45 minutes to six hours!!! They are unreliable and getting worse. I asked my last driver why this is and she said there simply weren't enough drivers. She felt the company treated the drivers poorly and was planning to give it up herself soon. read more

Uber is a horrible company. There is no way to get in touch with them to provide any kind of feedback and reviews except if you want to bash the driver. Their app is terrible it glitches all the time, 50% of the time the Chargers have been wrong or been double or I couldn't get a tip to go through or something went wrong. There is absolutely no way to get in touch with over unless I do a review of the driver. I've used Uber 100 times and never had a problem with the driver, but usually have a problem with the app and they just don't wanna hear about it. Going to try Lyft since Uber doesn't care enough to even offer an email address read more

CAUTION: DO NOT USE Uberblack UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY PREMIUM PRICES FOR MOTEL 6 LUXURY I ordered an Uber black as a surprise to pick up my boyfriend on his birthday. The car was not black, did not seem luxury. Driver was nice, but not dressed for professional luxury, but instead extremely casually and even informed me before he arrived that he "better be tipped well for the trip since it was a surprise". I was upset, but didn't want my boyfriend to see it. I don't feel I got my moneys worth, nothing about the interaction was luxury for that price. The car he ubered home in for $30 was much nicer than the Uber black (old silver Lincoln town car) for $114! ... that car was black..I Did not receive uber black service as advertised, I received basic Uber trip instead. I wanna post this to make sure nobody else makes the same mistake in using their service. Since after informing Uber of my experience they simply told me I got what I paid for and that they were sorry I was disappointed. I hope this saved somebody else's special day from getting ripped off. read more

Please avoid driver Harutyun driving a silver Toyota Corolla. Russian man who was very rude concerning a mix up on the address to pick me up; Uber app picked up a nearby address instead of the exact location. When he finally arrived, I got in and asked him why so rude? He then told me to get out, a Grandmother he just left standing on the sidewalk.
