Although I didn't have a great experience tonight I want to rate the support I got after my ride was amazing. They made sure they got to the bottom of my issue and made sure they understood my issue to be able to help. They contacted me right away even apologized. Getting home did take me a Lot the next driver I had had difficulties finding my location so I got in with a little bit of an attitude but he was nice and apologetic so how can you even be mad man Thanks Uber ! read more

We used Uber recently on two occasions in Cambridge. We needed the XL Uber, because there was five of us. One of the vehicles was a Cadillac Escalade and the other was an upscale Infiniti SUV. No problems with either. Prices were a little higher than a regular taxi, but most taxis limit you to four passengers. The vehicles were in good condition, the drivers were pleasant and they generally knew the area, though we had to explain exactly how and where to go in main areas of Cambridge. That is the big disadvantage of Uber compared to taxis -- drivers often don't know the area well, as do most taxi drivers. read more

Hi Uber stole $3 from me because one of their drivers had a meltdown and drove away from all of their pickups while keeping them logged in as passengers. How much of your money did they steal today? On April 1, 2021 I have scheduled an Uber ride from Arlington, MA to Bristol CT to be done on April 3. It was done 2 days beforehand and accepted by Uber. However, when the driver picked me up, he refused to go out-of-state. The driver maintained that: - he did not know that I am going out-of-state, until he picked me up - he has a right to cancel an out-of-state trip on the spot - which he did. I have asked my friend to give me a ride and as result was 2 hrs later to the business meeting. These Uber rules, as explained by the driver above, allow this loophole and are not acceptable. Going forward, I'd like to know, how can I schedule an out-of-state ride without being refused by the driver at the last minute. This is why option one for me is still Lyft. I deleted my Uber account years ago and recently I decided to give them another chance. It was a Sunday night and I needed a lift to the Park next to the UHaul where I left my car so I could take out a moving van earlier that day which I ended up extending. UHaul of Lowell was fantastic by the way. I did not want to leave the car overnight and risk a ticket so I put the Uber app on my new phone. I requested a ride to my destination. I received an estimate of 9 to ten dollars. Not too bad. The app said to get ready because a driver would come my way soon. This was before it selected a driver to come get me. I stood outside in the cold for nothing because the request timed out and cancelled itself. Saying "no cars try again later". I tried again immediately and it found me a driver in less than a minute. It also gave me an estimate of 7 or 8 dollars and advised me that the driver had a 5 star rating. Bonus! The driver appeared relatively on time and he was OK. His car was clean and he was a good driver. No attempt at conversation, and the only conversation was one he had with a woman on speakerphone for the entire ride. Just because they were speaking a different language doesn't mean I can't hear them. So...good but not 5 star good. The address in the request was of the UHaul store. I asked him to take me to the park before the store but, he ended up blowing past the UHaul and asked me where I wanted him to park. It seems as if he mistook "Park" the noun for "park" the verb. Honest mistake, English can be tricky even for native speakers. I told him he passed the location and he would have to turn around. This was not easy because the Street he needed to re-enter was busy and no one was offering him a break. Finally, he drops me off at my car and to his credit, he waited for me to get in my car and start it before leaving, as it had become very dark out. Then I looked at my phone it said thanks for using Uber and notified me that I was being charged $20 for my 7 or 8 buck ride. Actually 24 dollars including the tip. I wasn't about to punish the driver over my frustration with his company, that would be wrong. I have screen shots of everything by the way. I sent messages to their customer service bot and was left giving a blank stare to this intractable bot which was relling my price was correct using the time and distance method. Hey Uber, just because you crushed the traditional cab business, doesn't mean you get to play time and distance games with your customers. That is using a tactic you once sought to eliminate from the ride business. The robotic response I got in the chat was sent to my email which made me feel dumb for staring at a chat window in the app waiting forever that something would not happen. The robotic response was not signed by an agent because I don't think a human wrote it. It was a very short message sticking up for it's initial conclusion that the bill was correct in terms of time and distance. As if a computer is going to say, oh I see you had some difficulty, let me adjust your charge. Bots are not programmed for self-doubt or apology. Of course it was going to insist it's conclusions were correct and then ask if there was anything else it could help me with. I was tempted to give it a snarky response like you could give me the number for my State's Attorney General but, I just opted to take my last screenshot and planned to write a review when it was convenient for me. read more

After not using Uber for about 3 weeks I received an email saying my account was accessed from a new device. I have no new devices so my account was clearly hacked. The next day Uber banned me for life. When I asked them to review my activity with a new device they have not responded. Apparently they don't value their riders and can just ban them for no reason. The first 20 or so rides were great. Then, I got the driver who spoke only Chinese and took me to Logan Airport when I was supposed to go to Woburn. I started off in the South End. Today (Sunday) I waited 20 minutes for a ride, then the DRIVER calls me and tells me that he is not going to make it until way late and I should cancel and I do. So what does Uber do? It all came to a disturbing end when I ended up calling Uber's customer service line and the rep told me to f myself before hanging up On me. The are notorious for over changing when your driver inevitably gets lost in Boston and gets to your destination after clocking 35 miles. They are just in it for the $$. Don't be fooled. Uber, and UberX, is a great service. Can't find a taxi or the weather is bad? Don't bother running around outside, just use your smart phone and a driver will (usually) be there very quickly. UberX is cheaper than a taxi (with the exception of surge pricing) and no tip is needed. Saved me $10-20 when going to metro west from downtown Boston. That's a will in my book! Sure, during periods of high demand there is "surge pricing" which basically charges consumers an increased rate to encourage more drivers to get on the road. Don't like it? Then just take a taxi and quit whining about it. Oh, and you have the ability to rate drivers, and likewise they rate passengers too. I wonder what some of these reviewers ratings would look like, lol. Really, who complains about free credits?!? Bottom line, I use uber often and it is a great service. read more

I am having the worst time trying to contact someone form the company. I had left my phone behind in one of the ubers, since I no longer had my phone I couldn't access any of my apps. They have no customer service number, all they have is a sad excuse for a customer support live chat that doesn't help. it just sends you in circles, i think that is very dangerous. They don't deal with problem they jsut want your money they don't care how. I will never again use uber, they don't about the safely or resolutions of the customer. Uber is a great app to help anyone get around in the city. I have used it many times and so has my mother. We've both had very positive experiences with the service and entire experience. The taxicabs I've had a monopoly for many years and could give poor service and still get away with it because they were all there was. I can remember many instances where I or my mother got very poor service by drivers really didn't care and you would not get out to help my mom with her luggage on many occasions. I suspect most of the negative reviews for Uber or taxi drivers or friends of taxi drivers or really taxi owners. read more

We used Uber for the first time when we were in Boston recently. We need to go from our hotel to the cruise port. I used the app and could see there was one very close. I could then track it one the route to us. He arrived in a few minutes got our luggage loaded and took us to the post. He was a very courteous and safe driver. The price was as quoted and the app allows you to pay with your account and leave a tip if appropriate. I will now be a regular user. read more

Never having used Uber and needing a quick ride when I had a problem with my car's remote, I downloaded the app and entered the pick up and drop off location which was roughly a 4 mile trip. The driver arrives and tells me "you didn't enter a destination". I told him the only way to order was to in fact put the destination in. He said "no, you didn't put it in". I said OK and put it in again. I get a message saying "you can't change the destination". I tell him that and he asks to try it himself. I hand him my phone and he does the same thing and gets the same "you can't change the destination" message. Then he says, "well what do you want to do?" By now, I'm ticked. We were sitting there for 10 minutes and I had to get where I was going so I gave him five bucks and got TF out. I stepped in to the lobby of my building, downloaded the Lyft app and 15 minutes later I was dropped off at my destination. Uber is complete and total garbage from my experience. Unfortunately, the lowest rating I can give is 1 star... but given the option, they certainly deserve less. I requested an uberpool today and my driver decided to pick up the next scheduled passenger first. When he signals that he picked up a passenger, it throws off the pathing of the car and the app now thinks that I'm in the car even though he never came near my house. The app now proceeds to direct the driver to pick up the rider he had already picked up. I try to call the driver and he doesn't pick up or cancel the trip, so now I'm still waiting at my house and I'm also unable to order another uber. The driver proceeded to drop off the other rider and go to the location where he was supposed to drop me off and calls me. The driver attempted to pick me up where he is supposed to drop me off... When I inform the driver that I'm not there because he was the one who was supposed to bring me to his current location, he hangs up and "completes" the ride. I informed uber of this incident and they told me that since the driver successfully arrived at my destination, they won't be giving me a refund. I replied to them, "What does it matter where the driver goes if he never picked me up to begin with". And their response was along the lines of, "We probably won't see eye to eye on this situation, but a refund is not in accordance with our policy." All I expect of uber is to get me from point A to point B safely. I fail to understand how a legitimate business can consider this to be the appropriate response (per their policy) despite failing to hold up their end of the transaction.The absence of common sense in this case was stunning. Needless to say, this will be the last time I use Uber. While it was the driver's mistake that gave rise to this situation, it is Uber's responsibility to address and correct it. Unfortunately, Uber Boston has hired a lot of really bad drivers in the past year. When I take a Uber Black for work it's great. I've taken pool a few times and it's been fine. Every time I take uberx there's a problem. An attitude problem. Too many disgruntled uber drivers on the road. Why do they do it if they hate it so much?? I think it's too tricky, and Uber might not know how to deal with it. Also, he showed up with different license plate. He has the other one wrapped in a plastic bag. Then it appeared he got confused (our house is on a loop) and our app kept saying arriving soon. Suddenly I got a notice saying "sorry, no ubers in your area. Try again in a few minutes. ". It is unbelievable that a company as big as Uber does not have a customer service number for clients to call to. They tell you to use the app to communicate and is extremely difficult to do so. You have to jump to a lot of hoops to talk to a human and even when they do, they don't solve your issues. To this day the app still recognizes my apartment complex to be in Dorchester which is 100% not accurate. I took an Uber and put the correct address which recognized with the name of the complex and the driver took me to dorchester, of course I had to re-route and they charge me about $30 extra and I tried to communicate with Uber and it was a nightmare to do so, it took them three days to tell me that they won't give me the money because "they already paid the driver" which is huge BS because the driver is not responsible either, it was the app! If there was a rating with less than one star I would give that to this company... I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN USE UBER. I have an injury and cannot comfortably walk down the street to the grocery store like I normally do. someone suggested I use Uber to get things delivered. I placed a $50 order and waited until about ten minutes before the eta to start monitoring my phone for notifications from the app or via text or call from the driver. I went downstairs to my front stoop and waited. Nothing came as the eta passed, and within a minute of opening the app and checking my email - both updated with a time stamp "delivered" email and app status within a minute of my looking at it. obviously nothing came. there was no delivery tracker just a band at the top of the delivery page showing the eta. no photo of delivered groceries like they do with restaurant food. no contact info for the driver like they do for conventional car service. I contacted customer support. the chat operator immediately said I would receive no refund, did not answer my other questions about the time they have delivery recorded, etc and just closed the chat. I looked outside again, visited my neighbors, contacted uber again and the next operator allowed me to ask my questions but did not answer them and again left the chat. would not contact the driver, would not tell me the time they have, no comment on photo or lack of communication at delivery, nothing. those were my groceries for the week. I completely stopped using Uber in the past and I am going to once again. this company is disgusting in so many ways, the fact that they will not even verify details of my supposed delivery with me much less facilitate a refund of any kind is absolutely absurd. read more

A timeline of my inaugural Uber experience: 6:18 AM: Wake up early for a seventeen-hour round trip to NYC for work for the day. Train will depart at 8:15. Decide that taking a cab will be easier than lugging business survival supplies to South Station on the T. 7:14 AM: Open Uber on my phone and request a pickup at my apartment in Brighton. They quote an estimate of $30-$36 with tip, and Google Maps says the trip should take 20-25 minutes driving in current traffic. All good. 7:15 AM: Receive a text: "Hi Alicia, your Uber is en route! [Driver's name] (4.1 stars) will be arriving in 7 minutes." Great! Diver with a good rating and enough time for me to finish getting my stuff together and head outside. 7:16 AM: Receive second text: "Hi Alicia, your Uber is arriving now!" Whoa, that was fast. Scramble to get the rest of my stuff together and run downstairs. 7:17 AM: Walk out my front door; nary an Uber cab in sight. Look back at the initial estimate of 7 minutes and shrug, figuring maybe the Uber app shot off the notice early. No worries yet. 7:23 AM: Still no cab. Uber had provided the driver's cell phone number, so I send him a text: "Hi: I just requested a pickup at [my address]. Are you near? I'm waiting outside. -Alicia." 7:25 AM: No response from driver. Try calling him, and he picks up after one ring. Me: "Hi! I just requested a pickup at [address]. Are you on the way?" Driver, mumbling: "Umm... yeah. Yeah. Gimme five minutes. Okay? Five minutes." He hangs up. Kind of taken aback by his grumblemouth, but at least he's coming, right? Hang up, take a deep breath, and watch the clock. 7:30 AM: Still no driver. Heart beating faster, sweat forming on brow. Maybe another minute? 7:32 AM: Is that a cab coming down the road? Maybe? Nope, not a cab. No cab in sight. Sweat begins to spread, heart begins to sprint. 7:33 AM: Still no driver, and now shirt is soaked. Call again, and this time driver doesn't pick up. Leave him a terse voicemail telling him to forget about getting my business, then go back into the Uber app and officially cancel the pickup. Since it's outside of the five-minute grace period, they say I'll be charged a $5 cancellation fee. After the bloody red colors swimming in front of eyes die down, click "OK." Figure will call them and explain the situation later -- but need to find another cab first. 7:42 AM: After walking to the cab stand several blocks away, finding it empty, and legitimately hyperventilating for a few minutes, thankfully see an empty cab come my way and nearly leap into oncoming traffic to hail it down. 7:48 AM: Dab forehead and open window of cab to air out drenched shirt. Check e-mail on my phone and see this message from Uber: "It looks like there was a mixup on your last Uber trip that prevented you from connecting with your driver. We take cancellations very seriously for both drivers and riders to ensure Uber stays a reliable ride for everyone. Driver cancellations are monitored closely by our driver operations team, and clients who cancel outside the five-minute grace period are charged a fee. [...] Since this was your first cancellation and it may have been our mistake, we've waived the cancellation fee. We understand that mistakes happen, so please reach out to us if you're ever charged in error. We'll make things right!" Appreciate that they are waiving the fee, but heart is still beating much faster than normal. 8:02 AM: Arrive at South Station, give driver a 25% tip and about a dozen "thank yous." Bound onto the platform just as train is beginning to board, take some deep breaths (seriously heart, please stop fibrillating), and resolve to write a review detailing this experience on Yelp. AND SCENE. Basically, this was a huge, rage-fueling disappointment. I had been wanting to try Uber for a long time because the concept seemed nothing short of magical, but between the driver's rudeness on the phone and the fact that he never showed, I'd be leery to do it again, especially if I'm trying to make a travel connection. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is that Uber waived the cancellation fee, which I did appreciate considering the circumstances. read more

I ordered an UberX to get to an important meeting. I picked the location from the map within the Uber app (basically defaulted to the GPS location near Harvard Square). The app indicated that the UberX would arrive in 12 minutes. The driver called about 5 minutes later to ask where he was supposed to pick me up. Uber had given him the street address, he said, but no city. He said that he would "be there in a few". Fifteen minutes later I called the guy to ask where he was. He said that he was on the McGrath Highway in Somerville, that traffic was heavy, and that he might arrive within about 15 more minutes. So the 12-minute estimate on the site had turned into closer to 35 minutes. It would have been faster to walk. I canceled the trip via the Uber app and got an email from Uber notifying me about how I would be charged for canceling trips... One would think that their software would be smart enough not to charge customers for canceling trips in situations where the cancellation comes after Uber has missed its arrival time promise (e.g., if the app says the driver will show up at 9:30 and the trip is canceled at 9:40 Uber should assume that the customer canceled because of Uber's failure to show up). read more

I really like the idea of Uber. I like the idea of calling for a car that will pick up right outside of the establishment and that will give me an ETA. That said, I've had terrible experiences with the last two Uber rides I've requested. This past attempt really takes the cake. I requested a car. The driver couldn't find me at a well-known intersection and the GPS of where his car was circling was at least a mile from where I was waiting. The driver called me and said I wasn't where he said I was, yelled at me, and then hung up. I continued to wait for an additional 20 minutes in 30 degree weather. He never arrived. I eventually took a cab, This driver charged me for all of his aimless driving! There is no contact info for Uber. There is no service center to call and talk about a negative experience. Dear Uber Team, I'm posting this here as I want to bring this to your attention again - I got a very generic response from your rep when I emailed you to report the incident. I need to bring something to your attention asap. I was pooling with my dad and Lawrence - your driver - picked us up on October 12. When we entered his car (which was super clean and smelled nice) I was on the phone, but saw that he was kind of animated and started to tear up! My dad asked me to address him as our driver started to sincerely cry. Both me and my dad were moved. I got off the phone and asked the driver what was wrong. It turned out that Lawrence shared with us one of the most touching and moving stories I've ever heard from any of the drivers - and yeah, I'm one of those people who talks to pretty much everyone. This is by any and all means not a report against Lawrence, it's just the opposite. Before I entered the car, I saw a lady (who walks her fat old bulldog on my street) stop in front of our car and started pulling the dog while pointing towards the driver and telling him something in quite an aggressive way. He did not do anything wrong, he had just pulled over by our house to pick us up and greeted us politely! Again I was on the phone so I did not witness what she may have told him. Lawrence claimed that he was told by the lady to back up because he was black, and she apparently threatened him with her aggressive dog. I am still shocked writing this. What a world do we live in? He broke up in tears and we were speechless, trying to comfort him and encouraged him to report the incident, he said he wouldn't report because it wasn't worth it and he won't get any help from anywhere, so here I am writing this on his behalf, hoping for other folks to see it. This poor guy has done nothing wrong! He was professional, had a clean car and offered us a great service during our short ride. No, he didn't have a brand new car, awesome clothes, but he was polite, clean and professional! That's all that matters. We felt really bad and we're shocked and disgusted by what just happened. I don't know what services you offer to your drivers to coach them and help them out in situations like this, but I would highly recommend reaching out to Vincent letting him know that this terrible incident was reported and also to make sure he is not discouraged as he's driving skills were excellent and he's also a very nice guy. Please contact him and work with him on this. You have my contact info and are welcome to reach out if you need more info. Vincent was too humble to reach out to you. but I felt I needed to help him at least by reporting this. Me and my dad wish him well and lots of successes with his career with Uber. The perfect answer to a city-wide taxi racket that is dominated by: a) grossly overpaid medallion owners, b) poorly vetted, underpaid, borderline-desperate drivers, and c) law-breaking taxi monopolies that completely flaunt their role as an "essential transportation" service and act like entitled dicks. Some of my worst experiences in this city have been dealing with taxi drivers who lie about their in-built credit card machines "not working,", refuse to drive me to my place downtown because it's not deemed far enough, and have acted like outright sociopaths in the front seat. When you hear how their dispatchers treat them on the back-end and the money they have to shell out at the end of a shift to some bloated tycoon who makes cash off their labor, it's no wonder why. Enter: Uber. The perfect solution to the outrageous asshole'ry of taxi companies. Drivers are safe, friendly, honest. They take pride in their cars. They own their own vehicles, can plan for delayed gratification by not getting cash up front , and treat you with respect. Every single experience I've ever had with Uber has been awesome. It's at least $10 cheaper every single time, it's fast, the cars are great and the drivers are super cool, and the rating system keeps people mutually honest and respectful. Uber is horrible. Most Uber drivers have no experience, and it shows. When the price surges, you'll pay top dollar for someone to drive you in circles. I've heard that lots of times, the drivers don't turn off the meter when the ride is over, so you need to keep track of your drop off and compare it against your bill. I Ubered from Logan to Somerville at 3 AM. Pickup went fine, I got there OK, I paid a reasonable amount of $35, $25 fare and $10 tip. The car was nice and the driver took a reasonable route avoiding the tunnel construction. The driver whined the whole way about how fares are too low and I should tip, it's late and I should tip, his car uses so much gas and I should tip. OK, $25 is a great price, I tipped. But I thought the whole point of Uber that everyone's raving about is you don't have to deal with cash! It was just like a cab. Best part: just before we arrived he was all "oops, I turned off my phone by mistake, hope I still get paid for the trip!" 5 minutes after arriving I noticed the meter was still running. I still had the option to cancel the trip so I did, and was billed a $10 cancellation fee. Replying to the receipt email got a quick response from customer service in which they said they're revoking that fee. I hope they did. Nearly a month after the fact and still no follow-up. Uber has no working phone number, but doesn't respond to emails. The Boston community manager offered on Twitter to make good after my attempt to reach out and resolve this issue, but has been unresponsive ever since. Given Uber's inconsistent messaging in its promotional materials, the app's dodgy user interface, and the company's apparent disregard for professionalism and customer service, future users can expect to be taken advantage of. Uber used to be my go to car service. I am visiting Boston. The short ride from the airport was quoted $45, but with Uber junk fees the final cost was $80. Last night I waited in front of a Whole Foods ( easily found location). The driver could not find me, so I called him. He spoke zero English. The ride was quoted $14.85. By the time they added "wait ( he was lost)" time and tolls ( there were no tolls, we were driving on city streets) the final charge was $18. Uber now lacks transparency, and is loading on junk fees. I requested a driver to take me about 25 miles. the stated fare was $42.07...reasonable for the long distance, and I have a pass which discounts the trip afterwards. I watched on the app as the assigned car drove around about 3 miles away...then received a request to rate my trip, all within about 5 min of requesting the 25 mile trip. I figured the driver must have cancelled or something and requested a new trip. The second driver came and drove me to the requested destination. Same distance, same stated fare, no problem. I noticed later that I had been charged for both trips though. I know mistakes happen, so just messaged Uber to request that they refund the trip that did not occur. They replied that the trip had been completed as requested....despite the fact that the driver never came within 3 miles of the requested pickup, that the trip he reported was 1 mile and the requested trip was 25 miles. I replied that it was ridiculous to believe that the 1 mile trip was 'as requested', since I had been quoted $42 for the trip, and more importantly...the driver never picked me up, so it could not have been 'completed' as requested or otherwise. Again customer service insisted that the trip was completed as requested. The third time I asserted that they could not charge me for a trip that they did not pick me up for, someone replied that 'oh, maybe someone else took the trip you requested'...which is fine, i know mistakes can happy, but I am still angry that they insisted twice that the charge was valid. I did eventually receive a refund for what I had been charged for the non-existent trip, but still have not seen the trip returned to my pass, so am still out the $40 to use on another trip. They also do not have a good system for drivers claiming wait times...I do everything I can to tell the driver exactly where I am, and more often than not the driver will pull up a block away and on the other side of the street and just wait...of which I am charged some amount of money as a 'wait fee', depending on how quickly I can identify where the driver is hiding out. The wait fee makes sense if the driver really has to wait for the customer to arrive at the pickup point, but if I put in 123 main street and say 'im under the sign for the 123 Diner', and the driver stops at 150 main street and starts his meter...that is pretty unfair to me, especially if I'm standing in the cold waiting, to make sure he/she doesn't have to wait for me. read more

Uber in Boston is terrible... chain of events within a 3 day period. Sunday night: I was picked up at hotel and taken to a nearby restaurant for dinner. It quoted me $6-8 dollars for the ride because it was 2.5 miles away. Fine. After the trip, it charged me a little over $17. What? I contacted Uber who after a few useless reps said "its Boston airport fees"... but I was at the hotel not airport... so then 2-3 messages later... "We apologize- since you're near the airport, it automatically charged you $9 airport fee but we have verified that your location was not in the airport so we will reverse the fee". Monday night: I requested Uber, app kept saying 3 minutes away- I waited 10 mins and didn't think anything of it because it was rush hour/traffic... but then I get a notice that ride was cancelled and I was charged a cancellation fee. What? No notification from app that driver arrived, no phone call from driver. I once again contacted Uber who apologized and said they will reverse the fee in the form of a credit towards future Uber rides. Whatever. It's awesome that they can charge us for cancellation but we can't charge them for wasting my time! Tuesday morning: I requested Uber from my hotel to place of work. I take it every morning to work so I know the cost is approx. $20, give or take. This Tuesday morning, after my trip completed- I was charged $21. An hour later, I was charged an additional $14. Here I am again contacting Uber. Asked them to break down why I was charged an additional $14- got a few useless responses "check our boston rates", "your driver told us it took longer". Um what? Give me a break down! They couldn't give me one, apologized that this was charged in error so reversed me the additional $14. Then said.. we will credit you $10 for all the issues you've had this week towards future rides. So if you actually read all of this, I should have $20 in credit, but I only have $10 (from my cancellation fee). I have wasted so much time with this company. I also learned from one of their drivers that signing up for Lyft is a month long process, while signing up for Uber is a week. I also had another Uber driver complain to me that he bought an expensive car to do UberBlack, but after he got the car, they told him they no longer are taking UberBlack. So he's stuck with an expensive car doing Uber. This definitely speaks volume. So I took LYFT the rest of the week I was there and IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER. read more

Don't take it from the airport, they charge you $14 extra for tolls and fees while LYFT doesn't charge you anything extra. Also, they have a "referral code" and a "first ride" code but they don't work together so at the end it doesn't matter if you friend refers you or not. read more
