Then they handed the shoes off to UPS... and UPS lost them. For a month. After yet another month of back and forth, the shoes were finally repaired and returned. And the cherry on top? Their idea of compensation for this entire ordeal was -- wait for it -- a whopping 10% discount on my next purchase. My next purchase?! There will be no next purchase. Ever. She defied the stereotype of county/ government employees and worked in a swift and thorough fashion, and in addition was very pleasant! $209.53 later, the process was complete, and I'm now waiting 2-3 weeks for my new passport to arrive.
