The maintenance crew does a wonderful job keeping everything cleaned, tidied and trimmed. They have a sign up sheet for laundry so you have 3 washers & dryers at your disposal. There is a 2 hour time slot for yourself to get clothes done. I would highly recommend this wonderful RV Park. At first, Laura, the wife and co owner was eager and happy to rent to me. However, the lack of professionalism began to show when I walked in to get the unit the day after speaking with her on the phone. She knew I was coming, because I told her I wanted the unit that was coming available that day. Instead of holding it like she said she would, she gave it to someone else. -- luckily she had another unit. So, 65$ deposit and first month 90$. Paid with card. Deposit being refundable with return of lock and both keys. September 1, 2019, I gave my 2 week notice when I paid my second month. -- on the day I moved out of the unit 9-12-19 I gave her my lock and both keys. Just like her policy requires. And she was so bitter and refused to get up out of her chair to go and view the unit. She assured me that she would send my deposit the following week in check form. On Tuesday, 9-17-19, I called her to follow up on my refund. This is where she became nasty & rude! When I asked her about it, she claimed she would mail it Saturday, maybe Friday. Then comments that I'm not in town anymore. When I explained that it didn't matter my location because I gave her my new address, she cut me off and yelled at me and said "if you were local still, you could come by and pick it up.....DUH." NEVER have I experienced anyone like this. So I confronted her about her words and she said "yeah I did say that." And when I told her she was so rude, she hung up on me. UPDATE: I received my refund on 9-20-19 with a thank you letter. I highly recommend to NOT use this place for storage unless you like being talked down to. If you have any integrity at all, you will be thoroughly disrespected.

I have had my unit for over…read morea year, typically they do fill up fast at the end of spring term, so if youre looking to potentially use a storage locker I would call sooner rather than later to make a reservation. You can sign up and allow three other people acess your locker, really helpful if you want to make the use out of your space and save money. I find that most of the staff are very friendly and helpful and they sometimes have a dog behind the desk.

So while hubby and neighbor waited for them, they were able to stage A LOT! They worked so hard because we have a few very difficult items to move upstairs. They never got frustrated, and the only curse words spoken were from me! I hired an extra mover and I'm so glad I did. A truly fabulous crew. I highly recommend Bekins for your next move. I said its a small job maybe twenty minutes and of course I would pay the minimum. The only company that would help was Cross Town Movers who said its a small job and they would do it on their way to another job first thing in the morning in a couple of days. Wow customer service is not dead. Matt W and Josh F showed up right on time and were very friendly and got right to work getting the fountain pieces out of my wife's van and to our patio. They were very careful with the pieces and were done in less than twenty minutes. A five star performance. Great emploees.

RATS! I never write reviews but my experience was so awful that I feel I've been left no other…read moreoption. We had all of our stuff in storage here for 8 months. When we went back to the unit we discovered that there was a rat infestation. The manager told us that rats had been reported months earlier but we weren't informed. If we had been told maybe we could remove our stuff in time to avoid this situation. The manager said they had called an exterminator but we found a large LIVE rat in our unit and 11 LIVE newborn rats in a box. (See photos) Every surface was covered with rat urine and feces. All of our soft furniture: couch, mattress, glider had been chewed and destroyed. Between the furniture we need to replaced, the cleaning costs, and the junk removal costs we are out over $2,500. Not to mention the weeks it will take to disinfect everything so that my toddlers don't get sick. It has been almost a month and we still have not received any compensation. All we were offered was $500, which only covers the disposal fee of what was destroyed (and we still haven't even received that check yet). Multiple emails and voicemails have gone unanswered the past 2 weeks. Learn from our mistake and do not use this facility.

However, after they moved my things into…read morea storage unit, I returned to the storage unit to find they had stacked multiple boxes upside down or sideways, stacked heavy items on top of obviously more fragile and small pieces of furniture, did not use any furniture protectors at all for pieces that were brand new. They also stacked heavy items on a futon sofa that I specifically said needed to be stacked vertically as to save space and avoid placing heavy items on it. Also, they shoved items into my bike that may have sustained damages but because I can't even get to my bike at this time because of their poor stacking of boxes, I can't really tell. I was going to use them for moving out of the storage unit and into a long term rental when I find one, but am looking elsewhere for help. I've used movers many times in my life, and this company was the worst by far.
