I work there now as a counselor and I understand that people have bad experiences with us but we are people who don't always get our breaks or enough sleep but we try our best to make sure the experience is great for everybody and for the kids to make lasting memories. Some kids just don't have good days but later they'll pretty much only remember the good stuff that what happened. I really recommend sending you Girl Scout here. The memories that I have made are like no other!

When I came as a camper I had bad days and of course my parents said they'd never send me there again, but I came back for another 5 years. To this day, all I remember is the good times I had at camp and none of the bad. The staff do the best they can, but sometimes even their best isn't enough. I know your kid(s) are the solely chosen child from god, but remember that the staff and other kids at camp are human too. Especially if you come to camp with your child through "core camp" or "she and me" the experience is for the kids, and you gotta let them go sometimes. From a campers perspective, I always had fun even when I had bad days, there was always someone who helped me along when I was struggling and that's all I remember today. Camo Cleawox remains in my memories and always will, it's a great camp and a great experience for kids to get away from technology and TV, and actually enjoy what Oregon and nature has to offer.

A man took it into the back and priced it for $40!!! We immediately offered to put it back where we found it. I later picked up a battery operated skill saw that had nothing covering the blade but a piece of tape (a common theme here). It was completely operational and anyone could have picked it up and ran it. My immediate thought was of someone's kid playing with it and cutting their hand open so I promptly took out the battery and set it back on the shelf. Overall this location is overpriced for what you're getting, and the lack of common sense the employees/management have is very frustrating. Goodwill runs solely on donations so there is absolutely no reason for things to be priced how they are other than blatant corporate greed.

The employees are nice and respond quickly to the bell when you need a dressing room. The prices are alright, better than in Eugene. I was able to get two sweatshirts and a paint bottle for less than $10 thanks to the color tag sale. The bathrooms are clean and not coded and the parking lot is big with ample spots. It's easy to get in and out of even on the busy street. I stop by here every time I visit Florence and I don't see that changing any time soon.
