We went here a few years ago to fill up a propane tank. We didn't have any problems and the tank…read morelasted quite a long time. Now we're back to refill it again. I called ahead to make sure they were open and still doing propane refills. They told me there's a minimum of 5 gallons at $4.29 per gallon, so the charge would be $21.45 plus tax. I called around to check a few other places and found one that was a little cheaper, but it was a pretty long drive. Since I was already here, I went ahead and got it filled. The service guy, Adria, who filled the tank was really nice, and so was Alvaro at the counter. My tank actually only needed 4 gallons, and Alvaro was kind enough to charge me just for the 4 gallons instead of the 5-gallon minimum. Happy customer. One helpful tip: when you arrive, don't go to the front desk first. Drive straight in to the propane station. They'll give you an invoice, and then you take that inside to pay when you're done.

Further - everyone who understands machine work and autos gave a 5... and reading the "1" reviews: unfortunate BUT not applicable to what is important...one person asked about whether Star had a tool to do something they can obviously do? I know what was wrong with my freezer cause it happened before so when the guy came in, I was like oh you fixed it before so it's a easy fix. He looked at it and said yes but I think you should just let it finish unthawing by itself because it's working and it'll do it on its own you can just unplug it overnight and then plug it back up. I replied I have a freezer full of meat and I don't want my meat to go bad so could you just do what the guy did last time and take the paneling off and use the water and get the ice out it took him about 10 or 15 minutes. He was like oh well you can just do it like this. I'm trying to save you money mind you it only cost about $130 total he get 99 for coming up so this guy was trying not to do nothing and just get the $99 for coming out and I'm like oh no I don't mind paying he replied I'm trying to save you money and I said no I don't mind. It's only around $130. He looks at me goes to the freezer and say well I gotta do this to the door and this blah blah blah so it's gonna be 150. I looked at him and said OK he really didn't wanna do it nor did he have to do anything to my door not 1 thing I gave him the 150 and he walked out the door. I realized he didn't give me a receipt. I tried to call he didn't answer so I called the company. They said they will email me a receipt at the end of the day, but I still haven't received a receipt so I'm feeling uneasy about this situation mind you he did a sloppy job. I had pads all over the floor like I did for the guy last time and he moved the pads all around left water all on the floor. I've had this done before and I had a way better experience than I did with this lazy guy that they sent out.
