We've been to the store several times, despite it being more than 2 hours from us. We took an intro-to-router class and it was terrific. We have purchased all kinds of goodies from them both in-store and online from .com. The latest round was just beyond awesome. Wife wanted to have a look at the CNC offerings. We found them, a laser cutter, and then we encountered Steve on our first visit who was showing us around the Shaper. He was so excited to show us (knowing full well we weren't buying on the spot). He offered up Jen to show us around the laser and CNC machines as she was more of an expert (his words). He gave us his cell to call on Friday to organize a visit after our return home from a work trip. Who does this? Well, Rocker apparently. We went back down to spend 2-3 hours there just learning about their options for CNC, Shaper, and Laser. Jen was FANTASTIC. She spent like an hour and a half with my wife (and me) explaining the various systems, benefits, and models. She explained what kinds of projects each can be used for, the tools, accessories, bundles, and more. Steve brought in some of his ideas around creating inlays for my wife and sat for almost an hour with her. They, of course, helped other customers while attending us but this was unbelievable service. I called to ask about a model number and got Bob. He said he'd do the best he could to answer my question and he said "yeah, I remember you." You don't get that in the big box stores. Incidentally, he absolutely answered my question. There are so many reasons to buy here. Sure, they're slightly pricier than Home Depot or BLowe's but there is a whole different level of quality and the service is phenomenal. They'll share their projects with you. They show the Rockler.com website with all the free learning material. They're excited to show you the workshop schedule. We WILL be buying here. This Rockler doesn't sell stuff, they sell experiences. And life is all about experiences. Really amazing well to sell stuff. Great job, Rockler Altamonte.

Great place for finding what you need for your latest project. I can really appreciate that they…read morehave a wide range of price options for the tool you need rather than offering only the most expensive option. The staff is personable and knowledgeable without being overbearing or pushy.

If you saw my review on The Leak Doctor you know my house is dealing with flood damage (weak)…read more That was phase 1 of getting my dining room floor back to good. Lumber Liquidators is phase 2 (Phase 3: ???) (Phase 4: Profit) So, I drove out to Sanford with a slat of the remaining laminate to see if L.L. might have a match. Something I could use to replace the damaged section. Upon inspection they told me that my product was close to 10 years old--so no... No they didn't. However, they did have several newer models that were similar in color and design and gave me the lowdown on what I could do instead. After walking me through a few options I chose what was in my best interest...250 square feet of the lovely Auburn Walnut laminate. One week later it was in. When I went back out to pick it up, once again I was met with a staff that was on point. All very knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent guest service through and through. Paid my bill, drove around back to their loading dock and got all the new gear, no sweat. Flood damage might be the worst thing that can happen to ones home (with the exception of fire or annihilation by Death Star) so I'd only wish that kinda devastation on the most heinous of my enemies. If that happens to be you (you know who you are) know this...Lumber Liquidators will take good care of you and your new floor

Eli is a new store manager there and he gave us exceptional customer service! I have lots of questions about the revised estimate after the measurement guy came out. Eli spent lots of time with me reviewing each line item explaining what the charge was for. It's very obvious that he is extremely knowledgeable about flooring and the installation process. He also was able to accommodate our quick timing so we could move into our new home before Christmas. Stellar job!

However my children's bathroom counter was installed without meeting the wall and was filled with caulk to hide the poor install. We contact the home warranty team from our builder and the owner refused to replace even though his employee came out to measure and said the new counter would be installed in 7-10 day. The only "fix" they would entertain was to shove a tiny piece of quartz into the space and make it appear to be a solid countertop. During the warranty correction, I was able to review the portion of the countertop that is hidden under the side trim. While it connected in the back corner of the wall, it was cut at an angle by over a 1/2". This issue, while small, is also with my kitchen countertop. When the owner came to inspect I was told "It is only 1/8th of an inch and I don't see the big deal". The big deal is that we paid for properly cut and installed countertops. American marble assumes no responsibility for their products and does not stand behind their work. They will only shove a piece of quarts into the space to give an illusion of proper installation. I would not recommend American Marble to anyone and am very disheartened that the owner came to my house and treated me as an inconvenience and my concerns as a "no big deal".
