How dare you US Cellular for taking advantage of a healthcare worker during a world wide pandemic. How dare you for flagging my account for fraud and allowing me to be subjected to rude, inconsiderate people who talked in circles and never got me a full refund for a service that DOES NOT WORK. How Dare you take hundreds of my hard earned money. I think what you just did to me is technically Fraud US Cellular. How dare you!!! I Bought the brand new iphon12 max pro with charger, case and screen protector. And also 2 years of prepaid service. 2 weeks later I find out the service does not work at my house. I can't make calls or receive texts. So I ask for a refud. They flag my account for FRAUD, 4 months later (after unlocking my phone and switching service to AT&T). They still keep denying my full refund. I've been denied multiple times. And jumping through multiple hoops. I've called the 800 prepaid number multiple times, and talked to 20 different people . The store doesn't want to deal with this because they "don't" deal with refunds for prepaid (mind you I had their service for 2 weeks and it did not work). It's been an on going battle for months. So Ridiculous. As a health care professional during a world wide pandemic, it's crucial for me to have a phone plan That allows me to communicate. Apparently that's too much to ask for with US Cellular. And if you want your money back, we'll then that must be fraud (US Cellular logic). I received service Nov 27th 2020 and Called December 12th 2020, and told them US Cellular service did not work at my house. They "forgot" to suspend the account there for conveniently (for them) surpassing their 15 day refund policy Limit. They are pocketing all cash, on the account. I have to leave at least one star or they won't post this. A long story short, I picked out a new phone. When they were going to transfer the old phone to the new phone, they said it would look exactly the same but But it scrambled all of my apps. And lost many apps, and including my business app. They said I was getting 4 free accessories with the phone, but afterwards said no,I only get 20% off the over priced accessories, so I passed Except for a fast charger, which didn't work because I had to have the cord that came with the phone. I didn't.They didn't tell me there was a cord in the box which I left with them. After spending three hours there, I had to come back the next day for him to finish the transfer. I had many questions on how to make the phone work. But Troy said(3 different questions) I would just have to work it out. He never finished the programming. But when I got home, my son noticed and he was able to finish the process. I still hate my phone and it's not set the way it should be. It's a samsung S24. They totally suck, and so does u. Unfortunately yelp doesn't allow ZERO stars. I've been voicing my concerns for the poor service and phone's problems, since the day after starting the service. The phone repeatedly drops off the network, more than a dozen times a day sometimes, while standing in the USCellular store, and all up and down the West Coast. The service is well over the $40 advertised amount (being billed $136.31). The over-priced booster doesn't work either, it makes the phone's reception worse. They kept telling me to come back in and they would work with it. But now I'm told the staff didn't make any notes in the system when they worked on the phone or when communicated with me. And what's worse is that I could only return the phone within the first 15 days; and no one told me this deadline during any of the visits or text messages with the store staff. I came to this store three weeks ago after my husband bought me a new Iphone12 at a different US cellular. My husband told me to go in to the same store we bought the phones and get a case and charging port etc. I went into the wrong US cellular and noticed the prices were higher than what my husband said they were at the other store. The charging port was $40 here instead of $19.99, when I asked the employee why the prices were higher he said because they guarantee all their products and they only sell the best items. So I decided to pay extra for the accessories especially the case because I wanted a quality item for my brand new iPhone 12. Three weeks later the case has broken, I'm very careful with my phone and my kids don't use it, this is simply a manufacturing defect. When I spoke with the manager he told me it had been three weeks since purchase so there is nothing he an do to help me unfortunately they only guarantee the products for two weeks. He also told me in his 6 years of working for the company he's never seen a case break. Wow, that's impressive but highly unlikely and offensive for him to accuse me of breaking this case on my own. You can see by the picture this is not from dropping or mistreating the case. I have never left a negative Yelp review because I don't want to hurt a business, but I am disappointed in the lack of concern or care for my negative experience with the products I purchased. I write this review, truly disappointed. I have been a customer of this company for decades and gone through issues with them, with their billing and computer system, and stayed loyal. When the coverage at my house recently dropped to near nothing at my home, with constant dropped calls, I asked for help. Online they said I needed to upgrade my phone, when I explained my phone is only a couple years old and still paying on, they said to upgrade anyway. I spoke to one of the stores and they said this is how they encourage upgrades and that they knew coverage was not good in my area now, since the change of services and features. I filed a BBB complaint, they told me to pay more to get more and put me through chaos to even get to speak to someone. Not sure what happened to my favorite cell phone company. It is like they just want more money from me, and provide worse service and coverage. read more

Moved to an area where we have limited to no working internet on our phones, so things like checking email, using gps and so on barely work, if at all. Went to them to see if they'd work with us on this, since we've been customers for several years now. We were told they would work with us and when we got down there, all we received was excuses and basically no help what so ever. Of course, we had our phones financed and I didn't have $800 to pay them off so they set up a payment plan to pay off the balance on phones, which I was paying faithfully!
