Poor response from office staff…read more Had my driveway done 7/26 and notified the office x3 that they missed some cracks and was told a salesman will come out to look at it. That never happened and the excuses were always they are on vacation or just too busy so I withheld payment until someone came out. Two months later the owner Dick called me looking for payment and knew nothing of the issue I was having. His response was new office staff, 700 residential driveway sealing plus commercial accounts but he did arrange for my crack to be repaired immediately after payment was made. I have dealt with this company for a decade and never had a negative experience until now. Quality has gone down the tubes. Workers speak little English. My crack was repaired but done very sloppy and resulted in a tripping hazard. A picture is worth a 1000 words! Maybe because they filled my crack at 7 pm? Will not do business with them again. Very disappointed because they once were a good company. The owner Dick is NOT empathic to his customer's experience at all (never apologized just made excuses ) and obviously doesn't have a clue to what is happening in his office.

Talked about being "self-taught" and I am sure he is very able, but he needed more supervision and experience. In the end the job was...OK. I could even see hiring the guy again for something less complex, or if he was part of a two person team. (Some issues might be needing someone to hold the other end of a heavy sheet of plywood while it was fastened.)

Even with a lack of communication, it should be understood that this home is MINE, and does not belong to your inspectors. They are not entitled to come in my home any time just because they were hired by buyers. I did not appreciate that he had no respect for PRIVATE PROPERTY. The inspector allowed the buyers to bring a group of family members in four separate cars into my home. They treated my house like a public facility--using my personal toiletries, towels, and bathrooms without permission. I did not appreciate that no one was told to STAY IN THEIR CAR. How many onlookers does your staff need in an inspection??? I did not appreciate the said unwanted family members scraping their boots on the sidewalk before entering MY CLEAN HOME as if the home was already theirs and they could come and go as they pleased. They were obviously not helping the inspector with anything, they were just at my home to relax and invade my privacy. Most alarmingly, I discovered at 7:00 PM that my refrigerator/freezer had been shut off at the breaker. This level of carelessness could have resulted in significant property damage / food loss. When I was finally able to read the end result inspection list to my home buyers, it was noted that 2 breakers in the kitchen were not working, The inspector, Mark, shut the BREAKER OFF TO THE WHOLE KITCHEN, then requested that a licensed electrician come and fix them. I AM AN ELECTRICIAN. Wow ! Is this how you drive away home buyers ??? With stupidity? I am a licensed IBEW electrician. Would I honestly live here 11 yrs with broken outlets ??? And I really did not appreciate the inspector, Mark Ballge, allowing his clients, the buyers, and added family members, who did NOT OWN MY HOME, to come in and make themselves comfortable, forcing and wasting another extra hour of time into MY heavy schedule. They were not invited by ME into MY HOME and I should have been warned about this set up thru my realtor. Once again, they should have BEEN TOLD TO LEAVE. You have hired DISRESPECTFUL AND INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES; disrespectful to HOME OWNERS, incompetent to home buyers, and I would never use your service or recommend it.

I have used many, many companies during this time and have often felt taken advantage of and frustrated. Finally, I had a company I used for several years, but they stopped servicing Chesterton, so I had to find someone new. I wanted to try a national company in hopes that they would have higher integrity than some of my local companies who would send their youngest and least experienced employee to do this 'dirty' job. I hit the jackpot! Not only was Mark Kuta experienced in the sewer clean out, but he took the time to help me problem solve why I needed a clean out every six months. He was honest with me that he barely pulled any roots out, and the camera he sent down didn't find any pipe breakage. So, he discussed with me what could be the problem, and for the first time in 10 years of sewer clean outs, he explained that my toilet could be clogged with hard mineral deposits and could be the culprit by not flushing contents with enough power to get through the twists and turns in my 100 year old lines. I am extremely grateful for the possibility of solving this problem, and the fact that this would mean fewer service calls and less business for him, but he still wanted to help me find a solution, speaks volumes for his integrity. Thank you, Mark!!
