After a severe storm caused a tree to fall on our house, I contacted JB West to ask whether they…read morecould handle the repairs. During my initial call, I was instructed to call back after my insurance adjuster inspected the damage. I followed those instructions and contacted JB West as requested. When they asked for information from the adjuster, I provided it promptly. I was then told that someone from JB West would contact me to schedule an on-site assessment. No appointment was scheduled, and I received no further call, message, or explanation. I made the initial contact, returned the call when instructed, and supplied the requested information, yet the company did not follow through on the next step. I understand that contractors may be extremely busy after a major storm. However, if JB West was unable to take on the project, they should have communicated that clearly rather than leaving me waiting after requesting additional information. A brief update or decline would have been professional and would have allowed me to contact another contractor sooner. Because of this lack of communication and follow-through, I cannot recommend JB West. My experience was limited to the initial inquiry, but based on how the company handled it, I would not contact them again for future repairs.
