The customer service here is absolute garbage. I live close so we've used them a few times and each time I say "never again." This time it was going to save me $500 to get my wiring harness installed through them instead of the dealership so I was prepared to deal with the trash customer service. But they forgot to order it. I showed up almost a week after making the appointment, prepared to be without a car for a day, and not one person thought to check or call me beforehand. The manager said "yah someone messed up." She offered no solutions or empathy to the situation. When she walked away the girl running the register said "This is why I quit. This place doesn't do anything right." So I hope she rides out her two weeks and finds something better. I'm suppose to pick up my new camper tomorrow but am now scrambling to figure something out as we have a family camping trip planned for the weekend. I should have just stuck with the dealership. You get what you pay for but honestly you won't even get that in this situation. read more

STAY AWAY! Not only did I have an appointment scheduled a week in advance I called the same day 3 times to make sure the hitch was going to be there for installation for a bike trip. It was sad the way my mother was treated and the hitch was not there, she was upset and was told she could go elsewhere. Garage service and it seems like after calling the U-haul headquarters their in trouble with their franchise. It's no wonder why they have low rating. If anyone from this location would like to dispute the validity of this post I would be more than happy to return a call or stop in and discuss the details at my mother was treated. After countless years of refilling propane tanks here- no more! Stopped in few weeks ago, rang service bell- no reply- went inside & it was kinda like seeing? Possibly 2 workers semi stoned. 1 got off couch & met me outside. Tried to tell me my tank was bad - but he could sell me new 1. I declined- went elsewhere & tank was great. Wth? read more

Horrible customer service. Went in for a simple propane tank fill up. Wanted 10 minutes while I rang the bell and watched a worker talk to his buddy. Went inside and nobody was there. Went back outside and a FedEx truck was there with a delivery. I yelled to the worker if he was working today and he replied I got a delivery now so I don't know what to tell you. I stated I was there first and he should handle customers first. Bad attitude and lack of urgency. Par for the course I guess for today's workforce. I left and went the 11 mile U-Haul. Here is the review I left Uhaul after renting my truck and receiving my bill: The service I received at the store was good; the guy behind the counter was friendly and quick and I was in-and-out with my truck in about five minutes. Upon arriving at my loading location, when opening up the back of the truck, I realized that there was a dolly as well as furniture pads that were not part of my order. They were sealed with a sign stating that you would not be charged if you did not use them - I did not, as I had my own furniture pads and dolly. However, having those items in the back (again, not on my order) took away some valuable space for my furniture and boxes; fortunately, I did not need the space they took up, but another customer might. After receiving my bill the next day (I had a night drop-off for the truck) I found I had been wrongly charged the cost of the dolly and the pads (again, they were NOT used in the move). I called the store that night, near closing, but was transferred to a service center, as I was told was their normal policy near closing - no big deal. I put in my complaint to the person in the service center about the bill being wrong, at which time, the customer service person put a note in the system and told me the store would call me the next day - I did not receive a call that day, and called again near the closing hour (after getting home from work myself). At that time, after again explaining the situation (this time to someone at the store), I received a contract # and was told I would receive a follow-up call within 72 hours (once my situation was reviewed); again, I did not receive the call - however, on the third day after the call, I did notice a $10 refund had been posted to my account (the amount equal to the cost of the dolly and the furniture pads). I am happy I received my refund, and everyone I talked to was genuinely friendly, however the process was a bit annoying. In the end, I would simply recommend Uhaul not provide customers equipment they did not request - it simply creates an unnecessary headache for both parties. That said, I am happy Uhaul did what I consider, "the right thing" (by providing me the refund for equipment I did not use), and I will continue to utilize your services in the future. If you rent from Uhaul, I would just encourage you to check out everything before you leave the parking lot - don't allow for anything like my situation above. Again, they did the right thing, but it made for an unnecessary, cumbersome process that could have been avoided by simply following my reservation properly. read more

Be Careful They put less miles when I rented, and I did not notice that until they charged me for 120+ miles, but all I drove was 24 miles!!! They charged me 178.78 USD. I talked to the general manager Sean Morris, but he was useless. Be careful from these guys. This is my second bad experience!!! read more

The problem I have with this place is that they are rude, have poor communication and customer service. I have never used Uhaul before, and because of my experience, will never again. I didn't quite understand why I had to put in more gas in the truck during my return, as opposed to when I received the truck. When I picked the truck up it was just slightly over a quarter of a tank. So, when I returned the truck, I had it at the same level. Come to find out, they wanted more or they will charge me a $60 fee, so, I had to run across the street to put $35 more dollars in the tank. Now, the truck is filled slightly over a half a tank. You are welcome to whoever gets it next. Then when they tell me the price I owe, They try to charge me on the same card. I told the guy that earlier when I came to pick the truck up that I will pay the remaining balance on a different card. At that time he proceeded to tell me this was fine, but when I tell the guy closing out my account this, it's not possible. So, now I have to be concerned about becoming overdraft on my account. Overall, the truck worked fine and there were no problems. I just did not enjoy my experience with the workers. The first guy was reasonable, but the second guy, which I never caught his name, was very rude and disrespectful. I was set to return the truck at 8 pm, which I did, right on the dote. I understand they close at 8 pm, but why are you mad at me for? His demeanor is solely the reason I will never recommend or use Uhaul again. read more

I had an appointment for a trailer hitch installation at 11am. Over the phone I was told It would be down while I wait. They didn't even ask for my keys until an hour later. After 2.5 hours I was told they couldn't install the hitch due to "bad well nuts." When I called Jim Ashmore later and explained the situation they laughed and said "You must have gone to u-haul" ... This place was full of customers not being served and it was a mess. Do not go here. read more

Terrible customer service. Dropped off car to get a hitch installed. Wasn't told to leave key. Said they'd call when car was done. 5 hours later called to check and they said they didn't work on the car because they didn't have the key. We asked why they didn't call us to tell us they were missing the key during the past 5 hours. Response from them: "we were still looking for your key." They refused to install it after we dropped off the key even though the business was open 2 more hours. read more
