Tried to purchase a cargo trailer today . I said I was concerned about the rust spots on the brand new trailer and was told he was going to take me down a peg whatever that supposed to mean? Still I tried to continued with the sale ignoring his rude comment and constant swearing. Started to fill out the paperwork and noticed it asked for insurance . I then asked what kind of insurance are they asking for? I didn't think I needed insurance on a trailer speaking calmly and nicely. I was told I do it's state law . I said really that's so strange I've never had to get insurance for a trailer before I owned a pop-up and a dump trailer .They said they didn't believe me, I didn't know what to say to that and was really confused so they're calling me a liar. but I ignored that too. I said just telling you my experience I was kind of confused . then they told me well you're a man that plays by his own rules I guess. WTF I thought to my self . At this point I'm pretty upset and ready to just rip up the paperwork and leave the only thing I say is I guess I need to be careful about asking questions in here and that was it ..I asked him to call me when the trailer was ready and I went to lunch. On my way I call my insurance carrier to get prices on this trailer insurance I guess I need and found out that I don't need trailer insurance by state law that my vehicle insurance covers anything I'm towing .which was not what they were telling me at the store .So confused and concerned I called them and I speak to Sarah. I inform her of what my agent has said still don't quite get a clear answer but she just says she needs my insurance information for the registration I said OK I guess that's fine but the man sitting at the counter was telling me I need insurance on my trailer she then tells me to ignore him. I say OK not once raising my voice and always speaking calmly . well he was very rude perhaps it's time for him to go home and we end the conversation on what I thought was a Mutual understanding .10 minutes later I get a call from Ken who I believe is one of the owners her father The guy who said he's going to take me down a peg omg, saying he doesn't know if he wants to complete the sale starts talking about how it's their policy to get insurance information .(which I did give them my auto insurance information already )which I was not arguing about giving it to them I just wanted to make sure I understood if I needed insurance or not for the trailer. And that how I was being rude to his daughter and his brother.I finally am allowed to talk and I say I have no idea what you're talking about your brother was extremely rude to me and I was nothing but nice and courteous to your daughter and then he begins to argue with me saying that I was not (even though he was not even in the room at the time )I finally said fine cancel the sale. Oh my God I was literally only there 15 minutes and I was about to give them $4000 all they had to do was show me the most basic customer service and not have called me making threats about Canceling a sale which obviously benefits them LOL idiot and they would have my $4000 .don't go there these two brothers think their kings of the universe or something and everyone else is scum read more

I bought a custom built race trailer, was very happy with my pesty questions all being answered. Trailer arrived as I wanted it and Kim stayed late with me going over everything, and helped me out big time showing me detail on the electric wiring due to fact that I was going to tap in for additional custom wiring that I was going to do at later date. Good prices, easy to find and to navigate through. There's one guy there who isn't the friendliest person ever, but he is honest. I guess that's good. After dumping my tanks I went in to ask a question and the guy said out loud " I guess I'm not going to get any work done today since everyone wants to interrupt me!" He was helpful with my question. I've had numerous dealings with the Eastside RV family the owner Kim, brother Rich and son and daughter Kyle and Sarah) over the years. They have helped my wife and I, as well as numerous friends and family, with travel trailer questions, purchasing decisions, warranty work, storage solutions and a host of other travel trailer related issues. I recently had an electrical problem with our tow vehicle...no power to our trailers. I checked a few things myself; connections, fuses, etc., but could not find the problem. We were getting kinda concerned, as we planned on a camping excursion the up-coming weekend. So, on the Monday morning before the excursion, I stopped-by Eastside to hopefully set-up an appointment for some time during the week. I explained my problem to Kyle and without hesitation, he offered to diagnose and fix my problem right there and then...without any appointment...because he thought that it would likely be a simple fix. Boy, it was anything but simple! After countless diagnostic endeavors that proved fruitless, Kim got involved. With Kim's vast experience and knowledge of both travel trailers and their tow vehicles, he was able to spot the problem...or rather, MULTIPLE PROBLEMS! The problems were shredded wiring due to very poor installation techniques as well as connectors that had denigrated due to their flimsy material and again, poor installation, by the shop that had wired our tow vehicle. Thank you so much, EASTSIDE RV, for once again coming to our rescue with your experience, knowledge, quality parts and workmanship and dedication to your customers.
