I just checked with Michigan roofing codes and there is no such change in layers. Double layer is acceptable in all Michigan cities. I also checked Go To Roofing for verbiage. Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. We moved to Livonia in the last year and the house we moved into was going to need a new roof…read more However, we didn't need to call several roofing contractors and ask for quotes because we had the roof replaced on the house we had in Brownstown by Gregory's Roofing three years ago, and we were more than satisfied with their workmanship. Fortunately, the drive from Riverview to Livonia wasn't a deal breaker because Gregory accepts jobs in the Livonia area. Like our previous roof replacement, the Gregory's crew was on time, professional, and did quality work. We had an electrician coming out two days later to install bathroom exhaust fans and the Gregory's crew was nice enough to cut the exhaust holes in the roof and install the exhaust roof vents at no additional cost! The crew did a great job cleaning up after their work was completed and made sure that everything looked good before they left. Without hesitation, my wife and I recommend Gregory's roofing to anyone that is in need of roof repairs or a new roof.
