Exceptional Service from Start to Finish…read more I can't say enough good things about Old School Moves! From the first phone call to the last box being unloaded, the entire experience was outstanding. The team arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and immediately got to work. They treated our furniture and belongings as if they were their own, carefully wrapping and protecting everything to ensure nothing was damaged during the move. What really stood out was their work ethic. The crew worked quickly but never rushed, paying attention to every detail while keeping a positive attitude throughout the day. They were respectful of both our old home and our new one, making sure walls, floors, and doorways were protected. Even with heavy and awkward items, they handled everything with skill and care. Moving is usually one of the most stressful experiences, but Old School Moves made the entire process smooth and worry-free. Their communication was excellent, their pricing was fair, and there were no surprises. It's refreshing to find a company that still believes in honesty, hard work, and outstanding customer service. If you're looking for a dependable, trustworthy moving company in Columbia, TN, I highly recommend Old School Moves. They exceeded every expectation, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends and family. Five stars all the way!

He actually answered the phone the first time I tried. We talked about the job and he gave me a quote that sounded reasonable. I booked the appointment and Dustin and Chris arrived on time on the date scheduled. These were two hard-working men!!! I was so impressed by them. They were careful, wrapping everything and protecting it. They were also fun to be around. They have a friendly banter with one another that puts you at ease. I was by myself that day, so being comfortable was really important to me. They worked fast and efficiently, which saved me money. Now that I am settled, I wanted to come here and make sure that others know to call Old School Moves if they want a great moving job. Thank you Colton, Dustin, and Chris for making this move an extremely positive experience.

Everything went seamlessly and was handled with great care. I live by reviews and wanted to add my input on this company b/c I saw a couple of reviews that were not 5star. So glad I stuck with my guns and used them. Eric and his crew were accommodating to my last-minute request, picked up my items, and charged me a 1/3 of what other companies were quoting (i.e. Two Men wanted 3x the money for the same job and tried to "scare me" into thinking that if I didnt use a big name that I would be scammed).

I just moved this weekend from West Nashville to Franklin and these guys could not have done a better job. The quote process was quick and easy. They are super responsive and communicate well. Move time was noon on Saturday. I received a text from them around 11:40am saying running a few behind but would be there by 12:15pm or so. Once they showed it was a breeze! Huge truck and 5 guys, they had my 2 bed/2 bath apartment loaded into that truck in less than 30 minutes. I think the drive to the new place was longer than the load time. Again, super quick unload and they were all so kind, and very careful with your items. 3 hour minimum so I ended up paying for longer than what they worked, but that is moving company standards, and I've done that with just about every move I've ever done. Kudos to Jonathan and his team. Thank you for making a stressful process a little less stressful!

I used Yelp Projects…read moreto request a quote from several local moving companies, and A&R's customer service shined right away. I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

They loaded it into their truck with stuff on it, closed the door and took it with them. I followed up with my tenant (their customer) and they told her they dropped it off, but ghosted her when she asked them where they put it. We have a non-return fee (because of people like this), and she was afraid of being charged. She gave me their name, I called and he was immediately defensive, said "we dropped it off", then proceeded to talk over me. When I finally got a chance to speak, I asked where they put it -*click*- he hung up on me. We have 16 cameras and not one of them show them returning it anywhere on our property over the weekend. Look, I get it's "just a dolly" but it's the blatant dishonesty and lack of integrity that's so disappointing. It takes the convenience away from our tenants, and costs us as a small business to replace it.

Eddrel (owner) was humble and kind from the first interaction I had with him when he reached out to me via my yelp "project" posting to help move a large piece of gym equipment from my garage to my second floor. Not an easy task, as the machine weighs almost 500lbs, and there is no way I would've got it done myself even with the help of some of my friends. He and his help got the job done quickly without causing any damage, taking all necessary precautions with blankets and straps. He made sure with measurements, asked plenty of questions, and did a walk through before moving anything to ensure the actual move would go smoothly. After the heavy lifting was done, he and his crew cleaned up after themselves and then made sure I was happy with the placement. It was exactly where I asked them to put it. He told me up front he would charge a minimum of two hours, but after it was all said and done asked for less than he originally quoted (and his quote was the most reasonable I received out of 3). He was kind and polite and I have already recommended him to others, and I'll use him again if I have more to move.
