I looked at three different highly rated movers for my move. I chose Marigold because they seemed to be the most interested in what was being moved. They sent out an on-site estimator (Anthony) and he was very courteous and thorough. The other two companies didn't send an estimator. Marigold was in contact with me by phone and e-mail all along the way, too. On moving day, the owner (Chris) and another mover (Jake) showed up early. They wrapped everything. They protected my doors, walls and floor. They were very friendly ad talking about all sorts of interesting things. They would run back and forth to and from the truck. They tied everything down in the truck. My opinions and instructions were very important to them. This experience was more like having a couple of buddies do the move for me. Needless to say, nothing was damaged. They put everything down carefully, and they even put their own super thick felt pads under all the chairs and furniture. This is a great company. I had no regrets at all about choosing them. I had to plead with them to accept a tip, and I also gave Chris a book related to something we were talking about (completely unrelated to the move!) We have never used a moving service before so I can't comment on other movers, but I do know that the one we chose could not be beat. Due to our age and time constraints, we found ourselves unable to move on our own, so we contacted Marigold Movers and we could not be more satisfied with our choice. The young men showed up on time, took every precaution with our belongings, and were friendly and as helpful as they could be. I did not know what to expect but could not be more pleased with the outcome. These young men made what could have been a stressful day much more bearable. The first day, when they sent the packers, was disappointing to say the least. I won't go into detail, but Erica and the owner made it right. BUT, on the second day, Jerry, Tommy and Clint showed up on time and ready to move us. They apologized for the first day and went out of their way to make the move a lot less stressful. They were very professional, very polite and treated my belongings as if they were their own. They all worked like Hebrew slaves in about 100% humidity and when I say they stayed until every piece of furniture was in it's place, I mean they stayed until midnight! I called Marigold movers and spoke with Chris and asked for some help with moving a baby grand piano and they booked me Immediately and got me scheduled for the next day. There secretary was quick at getting back to me and quoted me a very fair price , I was little worried considering there pricing was very competitive with the rest of the companies I had called . Needless to say I was not let down . Not only where they on time but they did an amazing job wrapping up my piano to protect it and his crew did a great job communicating . We have moved many times and used several moving companies. We recently needed someone to move a 120 gallon aquarium and stand from rental truck to the house. These guys squeezed us in between jobs The Same DAY and got it moved safely and unscathed. I have never seen a crew so organized, polite, friendly! They knew exactly what they were doing and every team member was ready to give and receive cues to get the job done safely and effectively. It was cool to watch them work as a cohesive team. Without a doubt the best moving company ever. Great honest, caring professionals. They protect everything including your floors, stair railings, entrance doorways. No stone unturned. I just experienced my best move ever. Andrew and Kyler from Merigold movers showed up on time this morning to move a few things that we needed moved a short distance from one of our houses to another. They were friendly, professional and did their work in a way that showed they cared for our things. We used Chris and his team to move LARGE and VALUABLE antique items from one floor to another in our home. Our previous movers said it couldn't be done; however, Chris measured each and every detail and determined that in fact he could do these moves for us. He and his team wrapped each item carefully and carried them perfectly through our home, up two flights of stairs and placed them exactly where we wanted. Awesome company. Everything they moved out of our house was wrapped and packaged to prevent damage. The front door was padded to prevent damage to our home, and a long, blue carpet was rolled out in the entry to minimize dirt. The movers worked non-stop though the weather was hot and humid.
