Luckily they were beyond excellent!!! I submitted my file to be printed in the early afternoon, and the poster was completed by the late evening, and delivered to the place I was staying. Unfortunately, I had fallen asleep, and I missed the delivery person. When I woke up an hour later and realized what had happened, I called and the person I spoke with was very helpful and understanding. They called a taxi and were able to get it back to me within 20 minutes. The price was also quite reasonable, comparable to the subsidized rush printing service offered at my university. I would absolutely recommend them, and would unquestionably make use of their services again if I ever needed them.

I was impressed with the quality of the scans especially the book and it was returned to me in the same shape with which I lent it to him to do the job. He did not break the binding to scan the book. Turnaround time was pretty quick too, less than a week and the fee was reasonable. He has multiple scanning machines including larger ones that scan artwork. One thing that I've learned over the years in my trade is that every print machine interprets colours differently, files differently, and each printing company likes getting their files presented differently. Regardless of how awesome a designer you are, if you don't know how the printer likes the files you can have problems. I've been burned it the past with other print companies that sent back a horrible product that made me look awful with my clients that could have been solved by simple kicking the file back to me with a little bit of feedback - but they didn't take the time to do that. They suggest adjustments where needed to make sure the final product is awesome and one time they even had me come in and review some print samples and made adjustments while I was there to fix a problem. Currently I'm starting my new business and working with them on 4 new projects including business cards, pens, notepads and decals. Overall, their service and production in quality is exceptional for the rates which are mid-range in my opinion. The service could be a little better and they seem quite busy and occasionally miss some of the details of what I asked for such as a proof for each design. As a customer I need to make sure to be clear about what I'm asking for but I must say the onus is on the printing company when someone asks for a proof and nothing is done about it. Anyways I see some great people working there when I went in person and they've produced some great artwork and printing so far. Rock on guys!

I found myself at FedEx this morning, in which the man at the counter kindly directed me here. The UPS here is in a prime location- right near a Dollorama , Bosley's, Shopper's Drug Mart, an a skytrain station. The woman at the counter today had exceptional customer service skills. She had a large purple and pink button on her shirt that said something like "I'm happy, ask me how" and so I asked her. Although I am genuinely a happy person, I couldn't help but ask her about this large button! She was fairly vague about it. I then asked her if it had something to do with the cross around her neck (as I'm a Christian) and she said no. She said she no longer has that 2:00 lull in her day because of one specific thing she does that makes her happy and no longer tired. She said she can't explain it but that it works, and that if I want to know more about it, she can send me a video and I can decide to do whatever I want with it. I wrote my email address on a notepad for her and will be waiting to hear back. For all I know, she's going to send me some information about a cult hahaha. I will update to let you all know. I liked this conversation starter. Our world is more connected yet more lonely than ever and I liked the way she brought humanity and deeper human connection into an everyday errand for me. I also liked that UPS allows her to do this (assuming it's not actually a cult haha).
