His illusions were mesmerizing, and he expertly handled a room full of inquisitive and skeptical kids by getting most of them involved in his performance. Adam Stone put on a show that captivated an audience from ages 1 to 80. Throughout his performance you could hear 'Oos' and 'Aahs', laughter, and even silence at parts as people eagerly waited to see what was about to happen. He included kids and adults in his show; working effortlessly with even the most sugar-hyped children there. He was careful to include as many kids as possible and took all of the unexpected actions you get from them in stride. Once his show was done, the guests couldn't stop talking about it. Everyone had parts - adults and kids alike. But the actual show is just one part of the experience of booking and working with Adam Stone. When I first contacted him, he was very quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. On the day of the event he kept me updated on his arrival time, and arrived with plenty of time to set up. When he finished setting up, he took time to get to know the kids; even playing a few party games with them. This helped when it came time to work with the kids during the show. When the show was finished, he spent some time talking to the kids who obviously had many questions about magic. At no point did we feel like he was rushing in or rushing out. He really dedicated time to our party not just during the show, but the before and after as well. If you're thinking of booking a magician, I will tell you this: You need to book Adam Stone.  We cannot thank Adam Stone enough. Most importantly to us, he was able to get our fairly shy daughter comfortable and up in front of the group of her friends to join in his act and, even better, she had a great time doing it. He also stayed after the show to make balloon animals for all of the kids in attendance which was a big hit. It was all around a great show and Alex was fantastic at working with the kids. He was also great at communicating with us regarding preferences etc... leading up to the show. I'd book him again in a heartbeat.
