As a person that loves nostalgia, of course I love this place. Takes me to a simpler, easier life. My daughter was here for a birthday party and the entire group was so happy to be here. Beautiful facility , assuming it's been refurbished recently. Large skating area, plenty of lights and music makes it a fun experience for all. You can rent skates, they have food, video games and more. A true piece of history.

We went there for a birthday party and had a blast. The facility was super clean, the staff was awesome, and their service was excellent. They have "walkers" for beginners to use to help with balance. Regular skating was really inexpensive too. It was $7, including skates and an additional $2 for the walkers.

I use to love coming here with my daughter to get her skating and I would join her. Today when I showed up I was not allowed to use my hockey skates since kids from the night before were doing T-stops. So needless to say this will no longer work for us for father-daughter time. Ran into another dad had the same problem and immediately started looking for other rinks to go to. Staff also not consistent as there are a couple little demon kids flying around the rink weaving in and out of everyone with hockey skates without brakes. (Probably my kids some day lol) Staff was extremely friendly and offered other options, but I didn't get hockey skates to use House skates.

Great option for a cold or rainy day. Rental skates aren't the greatest but adequate. Snack bar could be better.

    Having fun!

I have heard from many people that their tours and tastings are unbelievable. I cheat a little because I already have a freezer full of their beef and plenty of wine at home, but I think my wife will finally book us for a tour and tasting in the spring. I have never seen a more idyllic setting for a farm, it looks nothing like any of the farms I grew up working on. And for me, I think that is the best part about Ovoka - it is a farm that is unique but no different than many others in that their farm never sleeps, their farmers never truly get a vacation, they earn every penny they get, and unfortunately do not get all the pennies they deserve for the value they provide. Not just value in the sense of the quality of their amazing beef products, but the value they provide for preserving a farming tradition that was once all we had and has unfortunately dwindled, but remains the backbone of our country. This is where your food comes from, not Wegmans or Whole Foods. Before you visit, call to make sure the food truck is open for lunch so that you can take it inside and buy a bottle of wine to wash it down with.

It's awesome to see a woman owned wagyu farm that's only an hour away from home. Touring the farm was pretty cool, even though it was freezing outside. They explained how the farm operates and the different types of cows/cuts. The private dinner was delicious. Our group opted for the premium 3 course menu. The appetizer and entrée were both amazing. The dessert received mixed opinions. After dinner, we stopped by the store and purchased a ton of steaks and hot dogs. Looking forward to going back when its warmer out. Thanks Mel and the Ovoka Farm crew for an amazing experience.

Their food service is great for pairing, I absolutely love their ciabatta bread and warm cheese spread with honey. Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

If you read nothing else, go there and experience the magic for yourself! The owner is amazing and sweet and she can also be your officiant (she was ours and created a beautiful ceremony for us). We found you get way more included in this venue than most. They have lots of items you can pick from to use as decor. (I used votives, easels, furniture, lawn games, etc.) The main house has two suites for brides and grooms to get ready. And the main ceremony space has a beautiful, natural arch. Cocktail hour is on the lawn next to the main ceremony space, with chairs/tables provided. There is also a golf cart provided for guests who need assistance getting from the cocktail area to the barn where the reception is held. (If it rains, an intimate ceremony/reception can be held in the barn or tent if you have a bigger party and put one up beside the barn.) You have the option to host your rehearsal dinner there the night before, and also included is a one night stay (either the night before or the night of). We chose to stay the night of the wedding. And breakfast the next morning was delicious. We enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the mountains. You have the ENTIRE WEEK to prepare for your wedding (Tuesday to the following Monday). There is only one wedding per week, so the focus is all about you! Also provided is a day of coordinator, which is extremely helpful. We used the recommended vendors list and they did not disappoint! Everyone was very accommodating and professional. Easy access to the hotels in Leesburg or beyond. We did use a shuttle, but there is plenty of parking space as well. I'm sure there is a lot more I could say. I am still feeling the post wedding glow and we couldn't have made a better choice.
