I weight train twice a week and cardio 6x a week but wow does barre teach you things about your body that other forms of fitness never seemed to surface. My instructor was Laura who was very supportive and patient with me as the moves were quite testing. Overall I love the vibes in here and the low pressure environment. Unbelievable Got a…read morecall from Guitar Center in Tyler Texas Friday night. Connor told me not to bother coming in the next day for my guitar lesson. He explained they had a new policy that they only offer lessons to those that commit to weekly lessons on the same day and time of the week. Apparently my every other Friday alternating to Saturdays on the other weeks is not good for their instructors. Our question to the asst manager was how can business turn away paying customers? Their response was that they are the #1 of 250 stores in their region and don't have to worry about sales. I work in business and predict they won't stay at #1 very long with this new policy. There is however good news. Sweetwater is thankful to Guitar Center for today's order of my new Taylor CE 314 and a rumor that a Vox C15 amp for my Strat might be under the Christmas tree this year. I was told that 1/2 the company was on a vacation and that he would get back to me. No matter what I did he never did. Good thing I was able to find employment elsewhere. It just sucked that I had to drive 30 miles for a waste of time, all because someone couldn't do their job. Trust that one star it too much. ***EDIT*** So I talked to Adam Marrow today, I gave him the time line of everything that happened and left it in his hands. He offered to have Connor call me and apologize. I don't see a point because if he felt he did something wrong then he would have called himself.
