The project included preparing the entire yard for planting, removing and setting aside existing plants so we could transplant them to other areas of the yard, bringing in quality topsoil, planting throughout the yard, and extending our existing gravel pathway. In addition to mowing and edging I asked for some bark or dirt in the beds around the grass. He took time to explain the differences and we decided for our needs bark would be best. In the spring of 2023, after losing my wonderful landscapers of 20 years, I needed to find another…read morecompany to maintain my home and the rental next door. Sol Landscaping was one of the companies who responded to my Yelp request for a big one-time cleanup and also a contract for once a month maintenance. Marisol and one of her workers showed up for the estimate and although there was a bit of a language issue, she seemed honest and sincere. She saw what needed to be done and gave me an estimate of about $3000. I thought the price was fair and hired them to do the spring cleanup. The maintenance price she quoted was $300 per visit. Before cleanup day, I marked with fluorescent paint the weedy areas and shrubs that need to be pruned out to make things easier, so there would be no mistakes (none of the workers spoke English, although I think they could understand it). The cleanup itself went very smoothly and they left the properties spotless. However, getting them to come out for a maintenance visit went the opposite way. Marisol wouldn't commit, and I called and texted several times to make an appointment. Finally she said they could fit me in the next day and I said okay. But no one showed up. When I called again, she said someone had gotten sick so they'd try again in a couple days. Again, a no-show. I finally gave up. It was apparent they were just happy to do the one big job and move on. I wanted to give two stars TBH for the frustration. But they did do the one big cleanup well. Unfortunately I am still on the hunt for a skilled landscaping maintenance company.

The other company showed up one day, dug trenches throughout our 1/3-acre lawn, and didn't really come back after that. My husband and I have spent so much time, effort, and money to have a nice lawn, so it was very difficult to see it all dug up with no work going on for multiple weeks. I frantically started calling every landscape business in the area, hoping that someone would be able to come out ASAP and complete the project for us. It's 2 weeks before Summer, so I knew the chances of finding someone with some availability would be next to impossible. Then Levi came along!! Levi came out the next morning to give us an estimate and had some great ideas to make our yard look that much better. He was able to put us in the schedule to start that following Monday! Not only was he able to complete our irrigation system, he laid down top soil, pulled a small stump out of the backyard, graveled the small patch of grass on the side of the driveway, beauty barked around the yard to make the edges look really clean, added some decorative boulders, and coordinated with another company to come out and hydro seed the day after they completed the project. To say these guys work hard is an understatement. It was almost 90 degrees out one of the days too. Our yard looks better than we could have ever imagined. Once the grass grows back, it'll look even better! Levi exceeded our expectations! The price was right and he's such a nice, personal guy. We will definitely hire him again for any future landscaping projects and recommend him to everyone! I'm blown away with how lucky we got to find CZ Pro Landscaping!

Our yard was a challenge, to say the least, full of weeds, an old lawn and a sprinkler system that needed updating. Tony came by, listened to what we wanted, and came up with a vision for how to make the yard beautiful, more efficient and with less maintenance. We were amazed at how hard he and his team worked each day. They cleared out the weeds, trimmed bushes and trees, prepared the old lawn with top soil and new seed, set up perimeter borders, replaced valves and set up sprinklers the right way to ensure exact coverage so that water isn't wasted. They spread new mulch and decorative rocks and gravel that helped map out the yard into defined areas. Tony has experience and it shows in the level of attention and detail. They also did an great job of cleanup afterwards. Landscaping is not cheap, and if done correctly, enhances your home value and makes you feel good to be in your back yard.
