This is for Tyler Kia @ 1810 S. 11th St. Niles Michigan 49120…read more Do NOT take your vehicles here for service. They DO NOT have certified mechanics. They told my wife her grinding brakes was normal and she should not worry about it. Also told her her front struts where fine although the struts are blown and leaking and do not support the car and clunk over any pebble in the road. They replaced her headlight assembly with a Chinese knockoff from eBay that does not work correctly. They did not replace the bolts to the engine cover and we almost lost it, I had to replace all the bolts. I don't know if Michigan doesn't require certification for mechanics or if Tyler Automotive just doesn't care about quality of customer service but I do know they do not have any certified mechanics or body repair technicians. For the love of god avoid this place!! Unless your ok with the piss poor quality of their service department. Then by all means please enjoy getting taken for a ride.

I have a 2019 Chevy Cruze with 65000 miles on it. I was recently informed that it needed a new…read moretransmission at a cost of $6800 by a dealership in Niles. A transmission should last longer than those miles. The owner's manual doesn't even call for transmission maintenance until 72000 miles. I contacted GM customer care who contacted the dealer who declined to assist with the cost. I have bought and/or leased many cars over the years from this dealer but never again. It does not appear that they are committed to their customers or to excellence as it states on their website. If you are in the market for a car buying experience, just know they do not stand behind their product.

It took them over a week to fix (it's a 3 hours job). The alignment was botched and the steering wheel was not straight when it was returned to me. When I called them back to correct the issue, the service advisor informed me I can certainly bring the truck back... but they intend to KEEP the truck until my previous bill was paid by my warranty company. Shocked, I called the warranty company to see what was going on. They told me the dealer would not accept their payment due to having to run it through through a credit card service (100% of 3rd party warranties do this with 0 problems at other dealers). Apparently, Tyler did not want to pay the 3% fee for the transaction. Why this was not added to the cost (to me) I will never know. But Tyler would not accept payment and told me they would KEEP my truck until I PAID the full bill (I had already paid the deductible upon completion of the service that day). I wrote to the Service Manager with this problem, hoping to find a solution that worked for everyone. No reply. I emailed the General Manager. No reply. I then emailed Scott Tyler directly to tell him how his customer was being treated, because if it was my business, I would certainly want to know. No reply. I told them all in my email that I was reaching out to correct the issue in order to not have to do what I am doing today, which is share negative feedback with all social media and RamCares. Since there was nothing after several weeks of trying, here we are. And my steering wheel is still crooked, which I will now have to pay someone else to fix. Horrible service, incompetent employees, management, AND ownership. Take your money elsewhere so you don't have the same experience.

The transmission is solid and still under warranty and had it double checked at another shop. the original issue was never resolved, discussed or even looked at. The man I spoke with, Gary obviously was more interested in getting $7800 to rebuild a transmission that has zero issues. I would not recommend them at all.

Take your car somewhere else. Took my Silverado to replace glow plugs, but they want to charge $127…read morefor diagnosing the check engine light. I got that at advance auto parts free of charge. I did agree to pay them for diagnosis. Next day the " front guy" of this country. Called and said it's a sensor fault ,not the glow plugs. After replacing the sensor he called and told me to take my truck to the dealer to have it fixed. When I picked up my truck the engine was running rough and loud. Check engine still on, oil pressure gage not working, Def sensor not working , cooling fan running at high speed at 40 degrees temp. The engine was so lout you couldn't talk and hear each other next to the car. They were telling me is normal. I went to auto zone for a free diagnosing and other codes popped out. Like a Christmas tree. Went back to tell Gery, the front man. He basically told me to Go F.. my self. After I drove away, 2 miles later my engine end up in a " limp mode" . Had yo tow my truck to the dealer. They found out a bunch of fried circuits. It's been a week yet and they are still working on it. I've seen comments of being honest and knowledge. Forget about it. They are ripping you off with the diagnosis and were is the knowledge?
