Good place to have just plane good quality beef. Not a lot of flashy burgers here but the meat is a nice change. They do have burgers up to a full pound. read more

I tried the drive-through at this joke shop while on a recent trip to Houston. Basically the way they work it is you order your burger and then they send you to one of six waiting stalls while they take their time preparing the food. This is where your drive-through purgatory begins. I was left to rot in that stall for about 15 minutes while they made a chicken sandwich. Finally the 16-year-old delivers the sandwich and despite my having asked for ketchup at the window I had no ketchup napkins or anything. So then I get out of my car go inside and the counter clerk for the burgers is nowhere to be found. Several other people are waiting in line for a Subway sandwich which they also have in the same building. This place should be bulldozed. read more

Stopped by on my way home from Dallas to Houston. Wanted a burger and some ice tea. I go to get my drink and I am told that they are out of ice tea. How is that possible? Go to the store and get some. read more

Waited 9 minutes at the drive through window and still no service. When the car behind me drove around after 5 minutes that should have been my signal. I finally gave up and went to Mcdonald's next door and got my burger in 3 minutes. Reading the comments here about the lack of cleanliness is discouraging. This is a lack of management. read more

Stopped in last night with my son and grandson and had a trainee which we were very patient while the other person worked with him. Everything came out and tasted good except for the mushroom Swiss turned into a basic cheeseburger. I told the trainee my cheeseburger was good but not what I ordered and the cook piped in answering "we are out of mushrooms......I said that is fine but you might ask what I want instead of just sending out a cheeseburger with mustard instead of possibly saying we are out of mushrooms, what would you like Instead? All I got from the cook was "we are out of mushrooms" PS the young girl brout me ketchup and the top was so nasty I couldn't use it. If I would have found it that way is one thing but when one of the staff brings it to you ,it make you wonder about what you can't see. $37.00 bill. read more

We were glad we stopped. Had a McDonald's on one side and a jack in the box on the other. Decided to see if it was less of a fast food type burger. Turned out really good. Had a mushroom Swiss and it was very good. Mom had the regular burger and she enjoyed it. Price about the same as a combo for a Big Mac and much better taste read more

The service is super super slow! No customers and so slow. More than 15 min for the drive through when u go through drive through cause u r in a hurry. It's crazy! Needless to say it's 8-9 bucks per meal that is really high! read more

First time to visit while on a road trip to Houston. The greeting was not very welcoming. The floor of the ENTIRE restaurant was sticky. Seems like they mopped the floor with a dirty mop. Our food arrived in reasonable time. However, it was exactly as stated in other reviews... Bad. My burger seemed as though it was clocked hours before an then recooked just before serving. It was dry, and crunchy around the edges. We'll definitely pass this one by on our next trip down. read more

The front trash can over stuffed on the front entrance. The windows and tables dirty. The Blue Bell Ice Cream glass not wiped down . Finger prints all over the glass. Table wobble throughout the resturant. There answer for a fix is stuffing napkins under the legs. Not acceptable. Food order not right. Plently of people working in Subway and the Texas Burger side. Someone should be cleaning the dinning area. Corporate and the owners really need to work together to remedy this resturant. I live here and this is a hugh dissapointment. read more

Marginal at best The service was extremely slow for 2:00. Waited 30 minutes. Place was filthy. Wall paper peeling off wall. One stall in restroom that was filled. The best thing about it was the gluten free bread from the subway next door. Help Yelp! The chicken tasted ok but it wasn't chicken. It had a fluffy texture. I have a gluten allergy and do not know what was in it .....just beware of the chicken! read more

Service was horrible! Had to wait a long time to get food and once it was received it wasn't right. Order tater tots got fries and some how ended up with another hamburger and neither was what I ordered. The sweet potato fries weren't even cooked all the way through. What a horrible experience! Too bad no zero star rating. AND WE LOVE TEXAS BURGER!! The Staff and service is TERRIBLE. Dalton Schotzenburg (sp?) you should be ashamed of yourself. We ordered Steak fingers- we're brought chicken fingers. When we tried to correct the order they checked history and said sorry- you ordered chicken. Refusal to exchange. Ok. Seriously? I went back to ask if 2 steak fingers was really worth losing lifetime customers. He had 2 steak fingers dropped into so grease for me but then wanted to take away the chicken fingers that had already been served. For all I care he could take them- I never wanted them in the first place but what was he going to do with them? Serve them to the next chicken finger order? He said quote "I can't give you free food". This is NOT about getting free food (that remark really upset me- I don't want free food -I wanted what I ordered). When I asked to speak to the manager - 16year old Dalton Schotzenburg said he was the manager. Wow is all I can say to that. Yeah for a kid with ambition, but if you want to be in management learn to assess a situation and make decisions based off good service. I mean geez. My husband and I had great burgers and service at this location. Very timely. The burger patties are thin and crisp but not dry. The hamburger buns are grilled to perfection. These are delicious burgers. We stop in route to Huston and back to Dallas each time. Yum! read more

WE enjoy eating out at Texas Burger for a long time. Our grand kids moved to Wichita Falls and there is not a Texas Burger there and when they come to Fairfield they are wanting a hamburger from only a Texas Burger. read more
