They do have a few toys, a little candy and some cute clothes for kids, but it's mostly special fun stuff for adults. This is the perfect place for a very cool wedding gift! A huge monogrammed cutting board with initials on one side and the couples portrait on the other was pretty reasonable! Monogrammed towels in a million color threads, monogrammed water pitchers, glasses, stationary, and lucite napkin holders, heirloom monogrammed scrap books or baby books, serving trays, snack bowls of various woods, college or sorority items, a few ladies coverups, seasonal decor and more to choose from! I ended up with a darling gold ice scoop & towels with our 3 initials! Friendly service tops it off! I'm returning for my favorite unique gift under $30: a tea towel with a copy of a fave family recipe, in Grandma's own handwriting! So here comes "Nana Kathy's Bourbon Sweet Potatoes" made famous!

A boutique! I love coming to places like this cause you never know what you'll find in places like these. From clothes to candles to writing utensil toppers. Yep... things you didn't think you needed, but all of a sudden feel the need to distinguish your pencil from your coworker's. This is just a fun place to shop. I feel like they belong in the mall. I'm shocked I never heard of this place till I saw it from the parking lot intending on shopping at a different establishment. I'm glad I eventually discovered it and can give them their first official Yelp review.

Their clothing is definitely not of the best quality, but they are at too cheap to believe prices. I scored a cute summery top I can't wait to wear when the weather warms up. They also have a small home section. The checkout took a little longer than I wanted with only one person in line in front of me. The main thing they need to change is their fitting rooms. They are literally just out in the middle of the store, and the doors don't even meet the floor. I heard a little boy say hello to me, and even though I didn't see him....I heard his momma yell at him for looking under the door while I was changing. She told him not to ever do it again, so watch your back if you use their changing rooms!

I was on the third store in my pursuit of bath bombs (stop judging me) when we stumbled into Burke's. The staff was more than helpful in engaging me in my lustful pursuit for them and they were just so friendly I felt the need to come here and leave this review. So if you, like me, are on the hunt for bath bombs and last seasons Essie nail colors, look no further. The staff themselves deserve five stars. I'll report back pending my personal experience with the bombs.

The assistant manager immediately warmly greeted us and gave us some direction in regards to the different sections of the store. She also gave us a card that is stamped each time you make a purchase. After ten stamps, you get $50 off your purchase. As we walked through the store, we saw many interesting items, from furniture to jewelry to real fur coats. There was an African section and we knew right away that we'd be purchasing something from this section. We decided on an African djembe that was the painted with bright colors. It's going to look great in our living room. At check out, they request to see your driver's license if you're paying with a card, which is something I like. I definitely see myself coming back to this store. You should check it out!

The staff has always been extremely helpful, friendly, and willing to help a husband out with some very efficient gift wrapping. I mostly have only come here for very specific items, I'm sure you can browse the store for some pretty good gift ideas. From hostess gifts to stocking stuffers to really impressive personalized items, they usually have some the popular things that make good gifts. I have never had anything personalized here. But they have a good selection of items that can be monogramed and engraved. I am always envious of the Yeti items they have displayed while I am in here. For me personally, I have probably bought their candle items more than anything. My wife loves Tyler candles and they are one of the few places that carry that in Birmingham. But they have a few different brands of other high quality candles. Not cheap, but well worth the money on most we have tried. And most recently, we found our baby books here in anticipation of our new arrivals soon. Good store. Good people. If you haven't stopped in to check it out, definitely worth the visit.

The shop owner shared a few things; Bring your items in and if sold, you can receive cash or if not sold the will donate to a charitable organization on your behalf and you receive the charity receipt for tax purposes. She also informed us that the first Saturdays of every month until October, the street will be shut down for an open market. Come by during those times and you could possibly win a prize. Can't wait to come back. Great shop to find those designer pieces you've been wanting.
