This was the day we got them! We've waited almost a week for a response after emailing to ask if this was a one off. They were very responsive when I was ordering things. :( They say they pick produce at its ripest but I don't think this means as it is about to turn. The delivery set up is different each week. Sometimes a swap box, sometimes not, sometimes it's awkward to get your stuff, sometimes it's so easy! I won't continue when my subscription is up.

The Flower Barn is located on a beautiful property where you can also enjoy brunch, host a wedding, or explore the garden grounds, all of which seem worth experiencing on their own. As someone who loves creative activities, this was an experience I would highly recommend. Walking into the Flower Barn felt like stepping into a magical storybook cottage. Dried flowers hung from the ceiling and lined the walls, creating an incredibly aesthetic and charming atmosphere. It is definitely a place where you will want to take photos. We were welcomed by Sandra, who was sincere, warm, and genuinely caring. She provided helpful guidance throughout the workshop and was wonderful to talk to. She would often bring over additional flowers that matched the look and feel I was going for, which made the experience feel very personal. You are able to make your bouquet as large or as small as you like, as long as it fits inside the provided metal container. The hospitality extended beyond just Sandra. The owner and Kim, the social media manager, were also very welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. It felt like everyone there truly cared about making the experience special. At the end of the workshop, you bring your finished bouquet in the metal container to Sandra, and she carefully wraps it in paper and ties it with a ribbon. That final touch made the whole experience feel even more thoughtful and complete. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop not only for the creative joy of working with dried florals, but also for the genuine kindness and hospitality shown throughout the event. I will definitely be back to create another bouquet or try one of their other activities.

There are wagons, buckets, and step stools throughout the property to help you reach the higher branches. I do recommend coming earlier in the morning; after an hour you do feel pretty zapped by the heat. Good thing they have cold sweet treats! They make their own ice cream and waffle cones, and it's to die for! I took home a pint of blueberry cheesecake and strawberry brownie ice cream. Very excited to be returning in the fall for peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, stone fruit and more!

Communication was prompt and Beckie was super hospitable at every moment. She was kind and calm, and we all felt welcomed and comfortable. Thanks to her, we learned about alpacas and took some adorable photos. We even got to take home some souvenirs from her cute shop (get the alpaca socks-my husband LOVES his!). As a cherry on top to this fabulous experience, my toddlers got to pick a delicious Fuji apple from Beckie's farm. Wowow, what a fun and unique adventure! A couple of fields of the lavender are in full bloom now in late June 2025. You can smell the French lavender and hear the bees buzzing, almost humming. There's also a small store selling lavender products and picnic tables outside to enjoy your self brought picnic (or maybe a snack?) The staff is friendly and we got to meet the owner, Sheri. Check the website but they have a short guided tour and you also can see where they process some of the lavender to make products.

She delivered six goats on a Sunday and after seeing how bad the area was , Sarah said she would contact me on Tuesday to check how the goats were doing to see if we wanted to keep the goats for additional days. We ended up keeping them for seven days and they did an amazing job. Many of our employees and visitors enjoyed seeing the goats hard at work .
