    Beef taco

Unfortunately I didn't take pics so I'll do my best to describe. We had combo fajita nachos with steak and chicken, I didn't care for the steak at all but I loved the chicken and the set up because there was cheese on every bite! I went ala cart and had a single beef taco and I loved it! I asked our wonderful server if he had verde sauce and he got me some of that and I'm sorry to say it was awful. They had tables and booths and it was nicely lit. I wish I could remember our servers name because he was very nice and extremely busy. We got there at 9 and just a few were still getting tables. What we noticed the minute we walked in was a lady making fresh tortillas, nice!!!

We held a family reunion here in June 2021. It was a HUGE success! Manager Julio Ramos went the extra mile to make sure it exceeded our expectations. He created a special event menu, complete with family photos on the cover. He personally tended to seating and event coordination. The waitresses made sure meals and drinks were out quickly and that everyone was happy. The food was great. The strawberry margaritas MUST have had fresh strawberries in them! We had fifty guests, some local, some from out of town. Everyone left happy. Great setting for an event such as ours. Thank you, thank you , thank you!!

Salsa is sweet, almost as if it has a ketchup base, chips okay but not house made. Queso is terrible, it tastes like it is made with canned (ballpark) nacho type cheese. Fajitas tasted like they were pre-cooked, no grill marks and served on a plate instead of a skillet. Cheese enchiladas were very greasy. Overall I would not go back.

Love this place. The bartender was really chill. She just kept on feeding us the alcohol. We closed the place down and had to stumble back to the hotel in the rain. Their food was great and pretty inexpensive. Will definitely be visiting this place again. Try it out. They have that crazy east Texas squeezy butter.

Adequate food. Open late (until 10pm). Next door to La Quinta. Never heard of a martini.

Good Tex-Mex menu and enjoy the chips and queso. Good stop for a commuter from Dallas to Arkansas.

I had the Cancun plate which has a cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco, rice & beans and a small scoop of guacamole.

Once we sat, we saw one other table of 4 people inside. It took 15 minutes for her to come out with salsa and chips and then she took our drink order. Sweet tea was good and topo chico was available. We ordered chicken fajitas, beef fajitas and chicken enchiladas. Their saving grace were the crispy chips and fresh salsa. Every time the door at entrance opened there is a VERY loud, startling beeping sound. It took over 45 min to get our food. Unfortunately, portions were lunch size and food was bland. Our server was confused and served the chicken fajitas stating they were steak. She brought out one plate at a time with 10 min in between each plate so everything was lukewarm warm by the time we finally got tortillas at the very end. All the staff seemed distracted by the rain storm. The tv inside the restaurant had "Bluey" cartoon on. I would not recommend this place unless you want to wait an hour and prefer bland Mexican food and a very casual atmosphere. We had to walk up to get our check. Very disappointed because other people's reviews sound very positive but unfortunately we did not have that experience today.

The chips were extra thick and crunchy, the salsa was bland and just gross. The problem is that I can cook good food at home so it's the service that makes eating out worth it, and I've never had worse service than here today. If things are busy, all the grace in the world, no problem, but this was different. Someone spilled their water so we used all of our napkins to clean the table. Eventually, someone put a wet floor sign nearby so they knew something was spilled at our table. No one ever came over to offer more water or napkins, or anything else for that matter. We ate our spicy meals with zero napkins and no water. Two of the four orders were wrong which is fine, that happens too, but one of the replacement meals was still wrong, and the waitress didn't care. We had to get up and get napkins, get up and ask for more tea, get up and get a to-go box before we paid out, so what service were we tipping for exactly? We told the cashier that one of our to go meals still didn't have the sides listed on the menu even though we asked for them and her response was "sorry about that." Zero care in the world. So I told her when it was my turn to pay out that maybe our waitress was having a bad day or something because I've never had worse service in my life. Again, it was "sorry about that." There was no language barrier with her, she completely understood the problem. I wonder how many times a day she says "sorry about that." It's the first time in my life I didn't tip. Yesterday, I tipped $67 at Cracker Barrel, but this restaurant has everything to be desired in the service department. At least the food they got right was really good.
