A friend gave me a large Casablanca ceiling fan in perfect working order, though I soon discovered it lacked a base unit to attach it to the ceiling. I needed to have the fan installed asap. The job required new wiring from the circuit breaker. So I called three other electricians rated highly on Yelp. One never called me back. One called back two days later. And one gave me a quote of $350-$400 dollars. Phil answered his phone (917-519-2306) right away. He said he'd be over in two hours, and was true to his word. He and Carlvern inspected the job, hustled over to Home Depot for the requisite parts, then came back and finished the job within a couple hours. I paid less than half what the other electrician quoted, including parts. The fan had a two-foot long extension pole. When he installed it, Phil said the thought the fan would work better and be safer with a shorter pole. So he returned with the shorter pole, and installed it the next day, free of charge.
