It had that welcoming, hometown vibe where everyone seemed comfortable, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about the food and the people they were serving. I've had Italian subs all over the country and this one is honestly the best I've ever had. Fresh bread, quality meats, crisp toppings, and everything perfectly balanced. Nothing flashy, just an incredible sandwich made the right way. The biggest compliment I can give is that before heading to the airport to fly back to California, I made sure to stop here one more time. I knew I'd regret leaving without one last Italian sub and I even bought a shirt as a souvenir. If you're anywhere nearby, don't overthink it. This is one of those rare places that lives up to the hype. Great food, great people, and the kind of hometown atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been coming here for years!

Fast forward to July 2026. I was invited to my elderly parents house for a late lunch/early dinner this past weekend and 'would I bring some sandwiches?' I thought to myself, maybe try Phil&Jim's? It's right down the block..why not? Their online ordering app is really nice and very easy to navigate.Food was prepared quickly in about 20 minutes or so. The shop itself is spotlessly clean inside and they have a nice variety of local potato chips for your sandwiches. My folks absolutely loved their Chicken cheesesteaks w/ fried onions. My pop actually ate one whole sandwich all by himself (!) ,it was so good! (his words). Chicken steaks were both right about $15ea with optional Cooper Sharp cheese.I got 2 plain cheesesteaks with extra cost Cooper cheese, also about $15ea. The beef cheesesteaks were just OK at best.Kinda fatty/chewy and not much steak or cheese on it at all.Probably won't bother going back there for steaks again.Sorry guys. They killed it on the Chicken Cheesesteaks, though.

Even after sitting in a cooler for 10 hours it was outstanding. Well constructed with plenty of meat and cheese, and more than enough bit peppers to go around. It really hit the spot after the show while the parking lot cleared out. They sell lots of premade dishes, and have a nice selection of meats and cheeses as well as some of the staples you see in an Italian market, like olive oils, sauce, panettone, etc. Small store with friendly employees who put out a great product. Free parking in their private lot. 5 stars all around!

I just found this place recently and I've only been here 3 times. This place has been busy all…read morethree times and I went at differents time of the day. My first two were excellent, the third not so much. I've had an old world Italian hoagie and a roast beef hoagie, had the mini size and both were jam packed with delicious ingredients. There was a time I could have eaten the largest size, which is 3 times the size of the mini, but as an old man the mini was perfect. My most recent visit I ordered a regular size kielbasa with sauerkraut, which for most of the sandwiches would be like the medium size, for the kielbasa is was the smallest they offered. Well, I should have asked for the kraut on the side because when I got home the nice Aversa's roll was soggy, my fault there. On the other hand the kielbasa tased like Hillshire Farm mass produced crap. When the guy got it from the refrigerated cooler where they keep the deli meats he carried it with both hands in a manner as to hide the package it was in, I thought it was odd at the time but didn't think any more about it, until I got home and realized why. While waiting for my sandwich, I saw what looked like 'real' kielbasa in with the deli meats so I was very disappointed when I went to enjoy the sandwich only to have the taste and texture to like be a glorified hot dog. Overall I like the place, the prices and hoagies are great. But, I now know not to order anything but the hoagies here.

Ordered Cheesesteak Hoagie Premium Ribeye steak with American and provolone cheese, fried onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Price: $11.99 Rating: 3/5 They didn't put provolone and the tomatoes were not ripe at all still green. Ordered Italian Sandwich - Salami, ham, honey maple turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, sweet peppers. olive oil, oregano, salt & pepper. Price: $13.97 Rating: 2/5 The salami was missing on the hoagie and was replaced with something that tasted like bologna. The roll was good and large portions. The one meat on the hoagie ruined it. Cheese fries Price: $5.30 Rating: 3/5 Very fresh however I don't care for crinkle cut fries. Overall rating 2.5 stars out of 5. Location use to be a Wawa and now a deli on steroids with ample parking. Service was excellent. The food was all freshly made, Delco Deli uses Liscio's roll and lunch meat is dietz and watson. Pricing I thought was high but possibly because I ordered on the slice app. I would try Delco Deli again as I believe I tried on a bad day compared to other reviews. #delcoeats #delco #delcofoodie #delcopa #visitdelco #visitdelcopa #pennsylvaniafoodie #pennsylvania #impossibletraveler #50before50 #50statesbyage50 #50countriesbyage50 #visitpennsylvania #pennsylvaniabeautiful #pennsylvania
