Potato Dog with Dirty Fries (Tater Tots) and Elote
    Betsy F.

I've always wanted to try this place because one: all the Korean corn dog spots are in Convoy, and two: this opened right in the area! It's a pretty small interior with little seating, but very clean with lots of parking in the plaza it's in. I came on a Saturday evening and there was no wait. The gentleman who took our order was very nice and fast, considering I came about an hour and a half before closing. I got 2 Hot Cheeto Potato dogs with a side of their specialty Dirty Fries (tater tots), and my best friend got the same corn dog with a side of elote. They have really good deals on their food because you can order a family portion of 5 corn dogs, or 3 corn dogs with one side and a drink. We would've opted for that at the time, but we really wanted to try everything we could there first. We took the food to-go to eat at home, and it was super yummy! We really liked how big the corn dogs were and the tater tots were pretty good as well. The corn for the elote was nice but it had a bit of the seasoning that kinda' melted in there once we got home so it made it soggy. Not my most favorite side to have. I probably will be back to try their other options, as they're different from other Korean corn dog places in terms of uniqueness to their corn dog combinations. It's nice to know you can choose what you want on the inside, like half sausage half mozzarella or half rice cake and half sausage.

Came again today and still only one last working there doing what u would think as triple duty! Answering phone, taking orders, and making each order. Not sure that's the best tactic to stay in business but maybe it is because financially it's cheaper than hiring someone. Dogs are good...this time I made sure to ask for sugar on my crispy dog! Construction nearby has been going on for months. Feel bad because it jeopardizes their business since parking is limited and shared with the entire plaza. Can't really park on the street because of the construction going on. Hang in there...dogs are good go try one!

This place is clean and in a calm plaza on san marcos Blvd. we waited 8 minutes before being greeted/our order taken. it seemed low staffed and the lady was busy. I tried the 1/2 cheese regular corn dog & the cheese wasn't super gooey but good. I'll definitely go back and try other flavors.

We've yet to dine here in person, but WOWZA, Two Hands Corn Dogs and Hot Dogs travel WELL via food delivery app! We got a sampler box and every single variety was DELISH! Definitely indulgent but so worth it!

Great Korean corn dogs! Very tasty! Love the crunch and crispness. Pretty convenient location. This place tends to have multiple parking spots. The two things that made me knock down a star was it was pretty slow but it looks like there was only one person working, so that must have been hard. And also the sausage amount is pretty tiny.

Tuesday afternoon lunch around 2pm. Not busy, maybe 1 or 2 other people waiting for their orders. We dined in sitting at one of the three tables they had. We ordered the 5-pack corn dogs with a side of kimchi fries. IMO, honestly, the fries were better than the corn dogs. We made a big mistake ordering a corn dog with a cheese stick inside. Don't know why or what we were thinking when choosing it. It was like a big breaded mozzarella stick (ok, but not really a corn dog). We should've just had them all made with beef dogs. These corn dogs are trendy but not in a good way. The breading was overkill, and it was mushy on the inside. It's not like a classic corn dog with the cornbread/cornmeal texture drier and soft all the way through. We just ended up taking most of the breading off all of them and eating the hotdogs naked. The service was not bad and not good. The place was clean from what we could see. Overall, this place is a one-time deal for me

Calling all San Marco residents!! Pretty interesting and fun snack or if you eat two of them it's a meal! Tried half sausage and half mozzarella and definitely good to try but here is what I would do: Classic - get it with Mozzarella and no ketchup/mustard comes with sugar (they didn't tell me) It's a sugar donut with cheese . American - get a whole sausage/dog with ketchup(yes. I am one of those who only like ketchup on my dog) Kimchi fries are really good and unique! The fruit punch slushy was tangy and sweet!! So good!! Will try potato next time!

Definitely different. I have never experienced anything along the idea of a Korean - inspired corn dog of sorts. Hurray for the person that came up with the ideas of corn-battering damn near anything that will fit on a stick. Just how do they get those small-diced potatoes to stick on the corn batter anyways? Perfectly executed cooking, preparation and plating (in cute little proprietary take-out boxes that fit the stick) and rather impeccable service. The Dirty (cheese) Sauce and Hot Cheetos powder was on both the Potato Dog and the Dirty (tots) Fries. As soon as I opened the boxes I had realized that I should have got the Kimche Fries. At least they would've had different flavors and textures. I don't know about anything else on the menu, but I don't think this is my thing. Pretty basic fried food offering. Just the various coated dogs and the two kinds of fries. Nothing else. Oh wait . . . there's corn! The several patrons inside were of a younger generation and seemingly enjoyed the stretching of the cheese (obviously cheese filled style) as they pull the dogs away from their bite. The place was busy with orders being taken, orders being picked up and filled by one single person. The food takes just a bit to be prepared in the back and serviced up front at the counter. A very efficient, and minimalized franchise model. Perhaps good for a food court in a mall . . . just not my thing. Dicks

Being a fan of Street food, when I saw my favorite snack/meal from Korea, we had to stop and try. There were people standing around inside waiting while I was in line to order. The ordering part was easy. I wanted one of their frozen drinks but was told it's not ready. My potato and spicy hot dog with fries took exactly 47 minutes to get. That's a ridiculous amount wait time. I understand they are new but it shouldn't ever take that long as this is supposed to be a convenient grab and go snack/meal. After the frustration of waiting almost an hour, the food was disappointing. We sat in the car to eat. My spicy sausage was oily and messy. With oil dripping off it, I threw it out after one bite. My husband liked his potato version and the fries were okay. Not sure what happened. Not sure if I'll be back. I can make it at home in less time. If I was rating based on my order, I'd give it a big fat zero. But because my husband enjoyed his, I'll round it of to 3 stars.

After seeing a friends pic then Yelping this place, I HAD TO EAT HERE!!! And guess what?! The corndogs are exactly like you would expect from the colorful, flavorful, delicious, fatty pictures you see! So good! The price is on target, the customer service was great. Walking in it seemed like a bunch of kids having fun, loving their jobs, making people happy with delicious food. My daughter and I ordered the mega pack and it was a bit too much for the 2 of us. LOL We finished about half of each dog though. I had to get the mega pack to try each flavor and still need to go back for the fries and elote and few more styles. We ordered 2 of the dogs with mozzarella and did not know I could do half and half. That would have been a better option that full cheese. I recommend half and half for all the mega pack styles. I recommend his place if you are in the mood for some deliciously, bad food! I may go try the Convoy one next just to see if theirs is a difference. Just for scientific Yelp research, of course.

I've been to another location before and really liked it but this location was not as impressive. The corn dog tasted pretty good and was more filling than I realized. The worker just didn't seem to have a very good attitude or any sort of energy which made the experience a bit odd.

Initially intrigued by the injeolmi cheese dog, I decided to try this place out. I'm usually more of a Zzang Korean cheese dog person, but Zzang (formerly Myungrang) doesn't offer injeolmi dogs, so was a bit excited to try this out here at this eatery. We arrived when it was a little past their opening time, I believe, so it wasn't too busy. However, after placing our orders, more people started trickling in. The employee named Arya, was very welcoming, kind, and informative. He answered all our questions during our visit, and made sure we had our orders correct. Keep up the great work, Arya! The service was great! We ordered a 5 dogs, the pineapple slush, and the horchata slush. The slushes taste pretty much like syrup, and the horchata slush tasted more like an overly sweet gingerbread cookie. I was expecting something else when I ordered it. The injeolmi cheese dog was mediocre. I couldn't really taste the injeolmi as much, which was a bit disappointing. However, the cheese pull was great! It was still a good cheese dog nonetheless. I think asking for the sauces on the side is best, even if the dogs came with sauces on the actual dog. Overall, I really liked the service, and am glad they are off to a great start, but I think I prefer the Zzang Korean cheese dog.

(4.5) They are made fresh to order so it may take 5-10 mins to get ready. Call ahead! That's my only note My friend and I got the American Classic and I got the spicy dog. You can choose your filling so I went spicy all the way. It tasted great and filling. I want to try the half-beef half-mozzarella next time... Maybe the meal that comes with drink and fries? The price is right and dare I say that it's worth the wait? Come support and embrace in our Korean culture! 4.5 because of the wait and parking. Other than that they are super nice and friendly!!

Dirty Fries. Not fries at all but tater tots with cheese and hot Cheeto powder on top. Tasted fine but they got a little mushy.

Question: Should the price of a corn dog on the menu include the dog? Or should the dog be a $1 add-on?

Ask the Community - Two Hands Corn Dog

Is it possible to get the corn dogs plain with sauces on the side? We found they get soggy when ordered to go because of the sauce.

You can definitely order plain corn dogs and ask for the sauces on the sides!

What is the dirty sauce?is it like spicy Mayo or more like 1000 island?

As noted by its name, this place served a fusion of Chinese and Korean cuisines. Their Encinitas location took over what used to be a roadside diner along N Coast Hwy 101. The seating capacity was less than 40 people which included a few high-top counter spots. At my last visit, I came for a late dinner before their closing time. A large menu was posted on the wall behind the service counter that listed about two dozen food offerings. The items seemed to be comfort food like pot stickers, spring rolls, fried rice, and chicken wings but flavored with unique combinations of seasonings and spices. I started my meal with the Marinated Beef Tri-Tip Skewers which came as a set of three and a Chinese mustard for dipping. The meat was very tender and well-seasoned. I also ordered the Cumin Lamb Stir Fry which the cashier said was medium spicy. After tasting a couple of bites of the noodles from the serving bowl, I agreed that the heat level was moderate, even for my palate. I thought the portion size should have been more for the price. That was my main criticism for both items, otherwise the food was solid for an Asian fusion eatery.
