Manna Heaven BBQ I used to really like this place because of the wide variety of food options. However, when I came back yesterday, it felt quite different. The menu no longer has as many choices as before. I'm not sure if they changed something, but the difference was very noticeable. The service staff were friendly and helpful, which was a positive part of the experience. Parking is a bit difficult. Both the San Marcos and Convoy locations are very hard to find parking at. I haven't been to this place in quite some time but the inside is fantastic! They've completely remodeled and revamped the interior so it looks sleek and modern. There are iPads at each table to each the ordering process. The staff is super attentive and they answer questions that you may have. The menu comes as lunch menu, A1, or A2. A1 is the premium menu and comes with a large selection of delicious meats. Definitely worth getting. read more

Came here with a couple people. We came during lunch time so not a busy time for them, we were seated right away. I always fill up on short ribs, beef bulgogi , cheese corn and rice. quality meats for the price, excellent sides, we loved the corn cheese and fried dumplings. I could not eat another bite, which is what you want when you come to an all you can eat place. We got the premium A all you can eat. Unfortunately we will not be returning. The server takes the first round of order and after that, you can order additional dishes on the tablet that they have on the side of the table. I noticed that some of the items (side dishes) that we have ordered never arrived so you may have to remind your server. The server lady was very nice, but the quality and taste of the food were really disappointing. The beef brisket and beef tongue were thick and tough and all the meats we have tried did not taste fresh. The side dishes were just okay, the tofu soup especially tasted a bit odd. Manna still so good. They aren't too busy for a party of 4 or less, lots of tables and space. The meats are plentiful, the sides are plentiful. I really like their options. Their steam egg is good too. I like their salad, lettuce wraps, rice paper condiments and it goes well with the meats. Mostly Yes, Manna is very busy on weekend but maybe Monday-Thursday you can just walk in. We reserved through yelp App and it helps because they tell you how much estimated time is left.

We made our way to the side of the bar counter, by the entrance of the restaurant. We waited as someone else ordered ahead of us. We placed an order with the cashier - three total burgers, 1 Original burger, 1 plain cheeseburger for a kid, and a build your own bacon cheeseburger. 3 sides, we added onion rings, tater tots and pickled plate. 3 soft drinks. Total after tip $85. Food was good. Burgers were slightly overcooked, still juicy, bun was a bit dry, a bit crumbly. Onion rings were unfortunately a big miss. Roughly 10-12 rings but all were overcooked, very crispy. Expensive for $10. Pickle plate was good - enjoyed the pickled beets. Maybe we ordered incorrectly, would love to try it again! I think since I had very high hopes because of all the great reviews, I was just a bit disappointed overall.
